I got to spend some time with the staff and administrators on Friday. They are a hard working, professional group of people. I was impressed with the care and concern they showed with the patients I met. I look forward to working with them again.

PLEASE..consider this building if you are searching for a Memory Care community for your family member! From the first phone call, you could feel the love and compassion within this community! The management team individually have several years of Healthcare experience, but combined it is amazing the experience within this group! The Executive Director is also a nurse...which is a huge selling point for me! The building has be upgraded with modern furniture which is absolutely beautiful. The culinary and activities departments are top notch. Some of the residents even help with some of the activities. It was fun to see the interaction. Although I am not 100% ready for this stage yet. The Heritage of Meyerland will be my top pick, if they have availability.

I been here for 5 years and we try our best to make everybody and everyone feel comfortable here & try to make them feel like home .... My wife currently resides at the community. I am very satisfied with the care and attention she receives there. The staff is very good and caring for the wants and needs of the residents. The staff always knows where the resident is which is contrary to some of the places where I had placed my mother some time ago. The grounds are very nice and look much better than mine do after the last freeze we endured. Her room is kept clean and her clothes are regularly washed. Activities are well planned and the facility has not had any resident COVID 19 cases, which to me is very important. Management is very hands on and if I call for anything, they always quickly respond. She feels safe, comfortable and likes the food. I would not have put my wife in this facility if I wasn't fully satisficed with it. In fact I have gotten more satisfied as I have come to know and appreciate the work performed by the staff as everyone seems to be so hands on with the residents.

My father lived at Addington Place of Meyerland for 2 years. The staff treated him with respect and cared for him like he was part of their family. They showed him love and grace. I'm so grateful we found this residence for my father. The administration and staff were also very helpful during this past year and I so appreciate their consideration for my family's needs. My mom has been a resident here for 2 and 1/2 years. We looked at many other facilities in the area, but chose Addington Place because it felt like home the minute we walked in! Mom loves playing Bingo and getting her nails done, and enjoys the delicious chef-prepared meals! The staff has always been caring and make you feel like family. I highly recommend Addington Place for your loved one!

Mom came to Addington Place of Meyerland in January 2020. By early 2020, in hospital and about to be released but unable to return to her assisted living facility, we were advised that she needed memory care. We knew of a memory care facility in our neighborhood, and at 5 o'clock on a Friday evening in January my husband and I made an urgent call, and they answered! I believe that call saved my mom's life. Two months later the COVID-19 pandemic forced all senior care facilities to quarantine and I found for the first time in our adult lives she could not rely on me to be her companion and care provider. Now, I had to rely on Addington Place to keep her safe and nurture her as she struggled with dementia and strangers and an unfamiliar environment. A year later—and it's been a tough, tough year for senior care facilities--my husband and I are so very grateful to the administrative and healthcare staff of Addington Place for outstanding stewardship and compassionate care. The level of dedication to their residents is remarkable. Every day they provide excellent care for Mom, keeping her safe and ensuring quality of life for her and peace of mind to her family. I highly recommend Addington Place of Meyerland.

My 93-year-old mother was a resident of Addington Place for a full year. She was treated with respect and dignity by each of the staff members. Though my mother had short term memory loss, the staff engaged her throughout the day with group activities, recreational activities, and daily chair exercise. She especially enjoyed the group games. Addington place has a private room where we were able to have private family get-togethers (before COVID-19). During COVID the staff provided updates and photos of how my mom was doing. She always had a big smile on her face. We were able to visit by being on the other side of a glass door. My mother had her birthday during the lockdown. The facility had a birthday party for her complete with cake and decorations. Both the staff and residents remained COVD free throughout my moms stay. My mom was happy there and more engaged than she had been for years. I am grateful to the caring staff for all they did for her. Sherry L.

Originally, I had placed my mother in another memory care facility. I was impressed with their management and key team members, especially the executive director, Matthew Warren. When ownership changes occurred at that facility, Matthew and Kelli Kenney, Assistant Director moved to Addington Place of Meyerland. I chose to relocate my mother to the new location of their leadership, APM. Their entire team at APM is dedicated to making the lives of our memory-challenged loved ones as full as possible. I would especially like to mention Kelli Kenney and Lyndsey Bullock, Director of Healthcare. These ladies consistently go above and beyond, and do a great job of communicating and managing my sometimes demanding behavior. My mother has lived at Addington Place for about 7 months and has been doing well. The staff are very friendly, diligent, and keep me updated on any changes. I really appreciate how cautious the facility has been regarding these hard COVID times and keeping the residents safe. The staff all seems very kind and patient, and I feel very comfortable that she is receiving quality care. I appreciate the efforts the staff make to keep the residents engaged in activities and the photo updates I receive. I highly recommend Addington Place of Meyerland for memory care of your loved one.

The Addington Place of Meyerland was the right decision for Moms care. After touring several facilities we found Mom a home at this one. Freshly prepared meals and daily activities have really made a difference in her life as well as ours! Staff and atmosphere are the best!

I have worked in memory care Since 2007. I was here when we built the building back in 2012, The home like feel of the building lends itself to a very comfortable memory care environment. We have a lot of dedicated staff members at the building that have worked here for many years, some going back to when it opened.

I have been very happy with the experience my mother has had at Autumn Leaves Meyerland. She is well cared for and always seems happy. Their philosophy of keeping the residents active with fun activities throughout the day is helping stimulate her mentally and physically. Very caring group of people at this location. I have not experienced the issues other have posted.

This facility has exceeded my expectations. Mom has been here for (6) months now and her memory and people skills have improved better than I would have imagined. The clean facility, daily activities and caring staff have really made a difference. I highly recommend Autumn Leaves Meyerland.
