We put my aunt in there a few months ago and the quality of service is excellent. The staff care about their residents and are willing to help anyway they can. If the residents run into issues, they call the family right away. Thank you for taking good care of my Aunt.

If you are looking for a warm and caring place for a loved one with dementia, I highly recommend Gurnee Place Memory Care Community. The staff actually CARE about the residents, which is the most important thing to look for in a memory care community.

My mother has lived at Gurnee Place Memory Care for over 4 years. The management and staff are well trained and caring and really get to know the residents and what works for each person. She's made many friends, both residents and staff. It's very comfortable and laid out for people with memory issues. It's safe and welcoming and homey. The nurses do a great job and the caregivers are wonderful. Moving there was the best decision I could have made to help my mom.

My dad was at Gurnee Place and received the best care. They always knew what to do and when. They were so kind to both my dad as well as my entire family. Pam and her staff always made sure he was not only happy and loved; but safe, clean and cared for. I am so happy we went with Gurnee Place and very highly recommend

This is a lovely community. The staff was very kind and greeted us with a smile . The residents looked very happy and well groomed. We really like the buildings layout, very uniquely designed. Out of all communities we visited, my husband and I felt this memory care community is by far the best. Doesn't look institutional but more of a home like environment and welcoming . I'm very impressed! Great location too!

My husband is a resident at Gurnee Place Memory Care and he had a pastor visit. She commented what wonder place and caring staff. She sat with him as they participated in activities with Cathy. How nice to enjoy a setting that encourages community time together. It was great to hear such awesome feedback to know I choose the best place for him. Gurnee Place Memory Care is where my Sister was living. I had the opportunity to visit my Sister from Florida for a week in November 2021. As you walk in I felt a warm welcome atmosphere. Cozy and Caring staff of educated and professional team. My heart knew after observing how much my Sister was taken care of. She was safe and surrounded by staff members who really knew about this desease. .. lots of activities and every morning exercise class and her room was large and welcoming. Music being played. No one wants to see their love ones go through this . Knowing that Gurnee Place Memory Care has taken pride and their staff is sincere and patient in any circumstances that might arise. Safety is their #1 concern. Affordable too!! Thank you for being there for the care of my beautiful Sister. —

My wife was admitted as a resident on March 2021. She had a complete breakdown and had advanced Alzheimer's. She was aggressive to me and the staff. I felt then that I would never be able to have a relationship with her. The staff asked me not to visit her for a month so that she could settle down. After a year at Gurnee Place, she has made a 180 degree turn. Although she has Alzheimer's symptoms she is well adjusted enougth so that I can take her home. Thank you Gurnee Plac

It's always super hard to begin the process of looking for a place for our loved ones. We had plenty of experiences that left our family weary. That is until meeting with the staff at Gurnee Place. We are so very grateful to the excellent staff for taking such amazing care of our mother. From the moment that we first called and spoke with Jamie everyone has been on board with meeting the specific needs of our mom and showing her so much love. I highly recommend that you take a look and see for yourself.

My mom has been at this facility for over 3 years...starting when it was Autumn Leaves. I have seen changes in staff and management and throughout my mom has been taken care of by caring and committed staff - some original. Recently, I applied to become an essential caregiver for my mom under recent quidelines from IDPH, so I have been able to see what's going on there much more than I knew since covid visiting restrictions started in March. I am excited and impressed about the level of attention and continued improvements on all fronts, whether it's the group activities or one-on-one interactions, upkeep, nutrition, communication with families, corporate management involvement, and everything in-between. Kudos to the whole team!

If anyone is faced with the task of putting a loved one into a memory care facility I highly recommend Autumn Leaves of Gurnee. The people who care for the residents are the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. Bea, Jamie ,Angel ,Eddie,Anita, Christina ,Yessi, and Amber have all given my family member love , patients and quality care. If you are looking for a safe loving and caring place Autumn Leaves in Gurnee should be on your list to visit.

Clean, friendly place - it was really tough to put mom in a facility but once we did I saw it was the best for her and we don't have any complaints about Autumn Leaves.
