This week, the Claiborne at Westlake hosted a beautiful Thanksgiving luncheon for its residents and their families. It was a wonderful event! The food was outstanding and the staff was caring and gracious. Thank you to Ivory, her culinary staff and Billy the administrator and his entire team for bringing the families and residents together for a joyful and tasty event.

I have had the opportunity to be a community partner of the Claiborne for a couple of years now. The staff is always friendly, helpful and loves on their residents so well! I want to take this time to thank the staff at The Claiborne. While my mother was sick last month and suffered with severe back pain that radiated down her left leg she was unfortunately confined to her room for an extended period of time. Overall the staff has been amazing. I want to thank Fab and Bree (sorry if I misspelled ) along with many other staff members who constantly checked on my mother and made sure she had her meals and/or needed anything else. There are so many staff members here at the Claiborne that I recognize but unfortunately do not know their names that are most definitely included in the group that went beyond what was required to make sure mother had everything and repeatedly asked if she needed anything else. I sincerely want to thank all those staff members and apologize for not knowing their names. I am grateful and I know my mother is grateful as well. At the Claiborne and most facilities meals in the dining room are a significant time for residents to engage in fellowship and therefore a part of the day each resident looks forward to. At this time the only negative statement or thought I have is the food served at each meal. At first I thought my mother's complaint may have been exaggerated. While mother was sick and mostly staying in her room I witnessed and observed many meals. Shockingly the food is quite poor. Portions are very limited and the quality of food is actually alarmingly awful for such an aesthetically nice facility. I recommend strongly the need to improve significantly the quality of food and the meals prepared along with possibly increasing portions served or at least allowing residents to ask for more of a dish if that resident desires. I work in the Healthcare industry (specifically-Hospice) and every time I go in to see families, residents and staff, everyone is happy to be there. Billy Hall (Executive Director) and his Staff always go above and beyond for their residents and families. It's a pleasure partnering with them to support families when they need our services. The living here at Claiborne is great.the staff is open to new ways in servicing in Dining Room and other places in how it effects the residents.

The Claiborne is a beautiful facility with staff that are very caring and helpful. My mom moved my stepfather (Richard Weinstein) in several months ago due to his increase of dementia that includes sundowners. From the time we both met with the management staff, move in day and ongoing everyone at The Caiborne has been attentive and more than willing to work with our family to ensure that my step-father is in a safe environment and well taken care. My mom and I highly recommend The Claiborne.

The Claiborne at West Lake, not just an assisted living but a retirement home like non other. My mom moved in right after it was built and from day one it has been the best decision that I could have made for her. The administration and all the staff have made us feel like one big family from the beginning. I enjoy going out to visit with mom and alot of the other residents that we have met since we got there. I looked at several other places but have to say I was sold after my first interview with Dawn, Jeremy and Wanda at the Claiborne. With all that being said, I will have to give you all a 5 star review. Thanks again to all the staff at The Claiborne at West Lake.

My mother has been a resident at the Claiborne since it opened.The administration and staff treat her Iike family. They provide Love and care for her social and health needs daily.It truly is not a building of apartments ,but a building of love and joy for the residents. We were so concerned for her safety during the pandemic.They stayed on top of the medical needs and provided her with the safe care she needed. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is in a happy state of mind with friends and neighbors. Our heartfelt thanks to all who love and cherish her daily.

I watched this building go up and it is beautiful. It has been built for a while, but Google has not re-imaged the area so it still looks like a forest. Well, trees aside they have made a Chateau like place. At least that is how it feels from the aerials. I hope the care provided is as good.
