My sister has been a resident of sun ridge for over a year. We looked at several locations before placing here. A facility can be a multi- million dollar Building but if the quality of the people working there arnt great , it means nothing. The people who staff Sunridge love what they do and the people they care for. It shows in their campassionate approach to each resident. They are treated with respect and dignity on good and bad Days. A genuine friendship between the residents and staff is common. I'm so greatful for the care and love my sister has experienced here. It's been such a positve experience for both of us.

I'm so glad I moved my mom to Sunridge. It's been a couple of months but she's really thriving here, and I wish I could have moved her years ago. She still has her independence but there is always someone around when she needs them. The staff here is amazing. So friendly. The food is great, she loves the beauty salon and activities. She loves having a washer and dryer in her unit and it's very close to where I live so I can drop in anytime. I like that it's a smaller facility and doesn't feel like a huge hotel.

Heyyyy it's your girl Smurf known by many. At first I was hesitant to work here but because I see my mom everyday going to work nonstop makes me wanting to try. So I asked my mom if they are hiring here I am, cherishing every moment with my residents, I wear their shoes everyday I come to work and will always be by their side with no regrets, because growing up in a Polynesian home makes a huge impact and difference in my life and I want to continue to care and love the residents as my own. Again if you're looking for a place for your loved ones visit us, stop by at any time for a tour, lunch or dinner with us. I guarantee you we will never disappoint you

I cannot express enough how amazing this place is! My aunt needed to go into an assisted living immediately. We looked at different options, but truly Sunridge (West Jordan) is the only one that responded personably and caring as if it were their loved one. They were absolutely incredible to work with. Heather and her crew are the BEST. They went above and beyond to make her transition one of warmth and love. It just felt "like home" and my aunt (who I might add is very hard to please) just keeps saying "I am so happy". "Very happy"!!!! That says it all! Thank you Heather and to the entire staff for giving your all to your residents. It's felt and even as a family member, I can't wait to come visit!

Moving your loved one out of their home is difficult, even when it is their own decision. My dad made this decision in January and the staff at Sunridge Assisted Living made the transition so easy! The facility is very well cared for, clean, and calm. I'm grateful every day for the high quality of care my dad receives. It's such a blessing to know that your loved ones, your heroes, are taken care of by competent and caring people. We placed my mother in law at this facility last year in July. To be honest, in the beginning for a few months we were worried that she was not being cared for properly and my husband and I wondered if we made a bad decision. Then there was a change in management, and since then things have been great! Concerns we had were buttoned up. The staff is very caring, loving, patient and involved. The activities they have are always fun to join in on, and its great to be included in them as well. The communication is great! Everyone is so friendly. Since the management change, we feel confident that we have made the best decision for our mothers care.

I don't even know where to begin... My Mom moved to Sunridge Assisted Living on February 1st of this year. I wish we were able to move her there a lot sooner. The Management, staff, care givers and residents are beyond AMAZING!! She received the best care there and she was genuinely HAPPY!!! She was so busy everyday, making new friends, doing activities, shopping, painting her nails and so much more. I am so thankful that the last month she was alive was spent with the wonderful people of this care center. She will be greatly missed and I am forever grateful for everything everyone did for her and showing her love and compassion. Thank you so much!

The Sunridge Assisted Living in West Jordan, Utah has found a special place in our hearts. Grandpa lived here for a short while before his passing, but grandma remained from that point on for roughly 4 1/2 yrs before her recent passing. Leaving their home of 50+ years was challenging for them, but the staff at Sunridge made the transition their priority and created a place full of love. They were so welcoming from the very beginning. Heather as the administrator at the beginning took her in as one of her own, reassured us consistently, and from that point became a part of our family. My grandma called them CN's instead of CNA's, but they became like her grandchildren and children. She always received updates on school, tests, dating, and much more. I have never seen a facility and its staff come so close and love a resident they way they did with my grandma. That was a big deal for me knowing my grandma was loved and had a new home she was welcomed in. Sam was one of the CN's/Assistant Administrator that loved my grandma a lot and vice versa. The heart break I witnessed in her as she passed was a testament to me of the difference their relationship had on one another. We were blessed to find this facility from the beginning. Thank you so much for the blessing you guys were in the last couple years of my grandmas life. Best facility to send your loved one no doubt!

The care she received was phenomenal and so personal. Everyone of the staff cared not only for my mom but for all of her family. They were there supporting all of us when she passed. If you are looking for a place to live for a loved one Sundridge is a wonderful choice. Making the decision to place a loved on in a facility is very hard. My siblings and I cared for our dad for almost a year and as his dementia progressed it became necessary for us to get more help. After multiple tours of memory care facilities we decided on Sunridge in West Jordan and we had absolutely no regrets after moving him in. We worried that he would not be cared for and loved the same way his family was caring for him and immediately after moving him in we knew we had nothing to worry about. The staff there treated him as if he was their dad or grandpa. They were the best. We are forever grateful to Val and her staff. The care and the love they showed our dad was extraordinary. We are so thankful to all of them for how amazing they were. They did everything in their power to make him comfortable and feel at home. The rooms are spacious and clean and they allow you to decorate it how ever you like. We were able to bring all the things from home to make it as familiar as possible for him. On his final days one by one multiple staff members sat with him at his bed and held his hand and even sang to him as he loved music. There were many tears shed as they had truly grown to love him. There were also staff members who came in on their days off to spend time with him before passing. Who does that?! The caring staff members at Sunridge! I know that they really did love him as 3 of the girls there traveled 3 hours one direction to attend his funeral. I know how difficult it is to make the decision to move a loved one out of their home but Sunridge made it so much easier for us. Saying thank you just doesn't seem like enough.

i have basically been working at Sunridge since 2019 and through the years it has been so amazing to see Sunridge grow and develop. the management team work their very hardest to make Sunridge feel like home, and they do well at it. the CNAs are always running around, and are always so loving and friendly to everyone they see. the kitchen staff works so hard to keep their lovely residents fed, and the food always smells so yummy when i go in. makes me hungry! their activities directors are providing such fun and beneficial activities, and even did their best to keep the activities covid friendly during the pandemic. there's been so many changes through the years and all of them have shaped Sunridge into a beautiful living environment for a loved one. everyone is so loving, caring, supportive and understanding. i could go on but that would make this so much longer. Sunridge is definitely a good place to find a second family!! 🙂

In November we realized that we needed to move my mom from her home, into an assisted living facility. As we started looking into different locations, we were really drawn to Sunridge for multiple reasons. First reason is that it is close to our home, allowing us to visit regularly. Second, the cost was reasonable, compared to other locations we looked at. Third, the facility is beautiful and well cared for, and the staff is very friendly. My mother does not require a lot of assistance, and has the freedom to still live independently, but has the supervision to make sure she is eating properly and has the social interactions that she needs. Jacob, the executive director, has been extremely helpful and attentive. He greets us every time we see him, and asks how things are going. The times we have had needs, or things looked at, he is quick to make sure our items are addressed. Even the other residence have been very friendly and accepting of my mom. They are quick to say hello, and invite her to the activities.

I love the Sunridge. I had the oppurtunity to work at Sunridge under Jakob Hartsock and he was by far the best employer I have ever had. The amount of detail and effort that is put into this facility and these residents by not only him but the entire staff is stupendous. My grandmother also had a short stay at Sunridge during the last few weeks of her life and she was treated so kindly and the care provided was incredible given her circumstances. I love Sunridge and I would reccomend anyone to come here, whether its a short stay or a permanent one!

Since my family member has been at Sunridge it has been a very good experience. The people are extremely friendly and helpful and anxious to help Mom feel comfortable. The Administrator, Kalae, is very personable and makes us all feel like family. He always makes time for our needs. One winter day our car died and He came to our rescue and got us on the road again. He visits Mom often and is genuinely concerned. It's a beautiful place and the food is good. I'm updating my review. My Mom passed away in November of 2020 and it was around that time that the administrator, Kalae left. I'm not sure of the circumstances. There have been at least 3 others who have come and gone. Unfortunately, Sunridge does not have the same high standards that it did. I have had and currently have friends there and it has been upsetting to see rooms not cleaned up after accidents and staff sitting around on their phones instead of being with patients. I think the food is still good and of course good things happen there too.

Second experience visiting our neighbor and while not the ideal in life, Sunridge feels like the best of a life situation. Common areas and dining room retain a warmer less hospital feel. Rooms spacious and have an independent feel. Every area is clean and inviting. Staff has been friendly and appear to want the residents to participate. Definitely seems like there is plenty to do and enjoy. Glad it's close to us so we can try and visit more often. The overall feel of Sunridge gives us a better feeling about visiting.

We had to find a place quick for my Gramma. We were fortunate to talk with Kaylyn. She explain about the programs at Sunridge, they had one room left, we took it and moved my Gramma in the next day from the hospital. They allowed us to decorate and make it look so homey. The staff was amazing and so supportive. My Gramma stayed there until she passed. The staff especially JoJo not only took care of her but made sure we had everything we needed as we visited. Jinger was so helpful in setting up our gramma's account. All around could not ask for a better experience. Thank you!

It is a difficult move for parents to leave their home of 60+ years and move into an assisted living facility. Sunridge and their kind staff made the move for my mom and dad easy. They are so kind and patient. My dad made friends easily and enjoys the activities planned for the residents. My mom also enjoyed it there before she passed away last year. The big bonus is the angel they have on staff who keeps the facility clean and adopts each resident into her life as part of her family. This is great place made even greater by Ann Olsen..Staff angel If you are looking for a home away from home for your loved ones who can no longer care themselves without help, this is the place.

Sunridge is a wonderful community for our Seniors. My Dad loves it here; as did my Mom before she passed away; and we as a family are all part of the Sunridge family. The workers are wonderful, caring people who take care of our loved ones. Especially we are grateful for Ann Olsen who is so kind to our Dad and all of the residents--making each one feel so special and loved. Heather Reeves is a wonderful person there who takes such good care of the home and each resident--she brings a spirit of happiness and love to the home--Ashley at the front desk is another sweet person who cares about everyone and greets us all with a smile when we come to visit. Ann, Heather, and Ashley, we love you and are so grateful to you. We love Sunridge and would recommend it to everyone if you want a loving, caring, and safe, happy place for your loved one.

We moved my grandparents to Sunridge in 2018 and have loved the care they receive! My grandma passed while living there and the staff took such good care of her, and all of the visiting family during that difficult time. Pre-covid they had lots of fun activities for the residents and during covid they did their best to keep the residents safe while letting family see them as much as possible. It was comforting knowing he was somewhere safe during all of that craziness. CNA Michelle has been awesome! You can see she truly loves the residents by the way she interacts with them. Sunridge is run so well and we are so thankful for the care they give!
