Apartments are not cleaned properly. The facility hallways are dirty. AC has been broken for months. Way understaffed. You can tell from the minute you walk in that it is not a happy place. The staff try, but are scarce. There is no feeling of community.

Sarabella is such a beautiful place! We are moving our mom in and have had to ask maintenance to do a few things and they have been fast and efficient!

Update April 2026 - There have been some impressive management changes that make Sarabella even better than before. Too, it’s nice to know how well it’s fared during the hurricanes and how well the staff cares for the residents during the storms. Being able to have family members with you during a storm is so comforting. Sarabella definitely cares about the residents, their pets, and their families. ”- The more I see of Sarabella compared to other locations, the more impressed I am. The grounds and interior courtyard are beautiful and inviting. It’s pet friendly. The associates are so friendly and really listen to what you say. - The associates I have met truly care about the residents and their happiness. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The building is very clean and inviting and feels like home.

Sarabella Senior living is the place to go when the time has come to move to an assisted living facility. The needs of the residents always come first here. The food is great along with the wine and beer. I want to give a shout out to Michelle Sayre, whom is so pleasant. She makes residents feel at home and is always happy to see long standing residents along with new ones.

Sarabella Senior Living is a wonderful assisted living community for seniors in Sarasota, FL. They have options for Memory Care and Assisted Living to accommodate their residents’ needs in all stages. The community is bright, fresh and inviting. Their staff is truly caring. My clients needed extra support and Sarabella’s staff provided exceptional service to assist them in each step moving in to the community.

I cannot put into words how wonderful SaraBella has been in the care of my husband from his arrival a year and a half ago until now as his health declines. The staff are warm and friendly people who routinely go way beyond the norm. Their ability to provide individual attention to residents is due in part to this being the right size residence for seniors to enjoy a comfortable existence and address their specific needs.

In May 2024 I moved my husband to this facility. I wrote rave reviews at that time and encouraged others to come live at Sarabella. The place was taken over by new management and went downhill. Five Directors of nursing have quit, 3 Memory Care Directors quit, 2 Activity Coordinators quit and countless numbers of care staff have quit. The Executve Director, Denise Kircher, wrote a letter to family members in Oct 2025 that their “unkindness” to staff is the reason so many staff have left. The Executive Director has only to look in the mirror to find who is really responsible for staff and families leaving this once very nice, well run facility. I moved my husband from Sarabella the end of Oct 2025. I no longer recommend this place to anyone . If you are considering Memory Care do yourself a favor and talk extensively to family members whose loved ones have been there for 6 months or more.

Everyone here truly goes above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, valued, and at home. The caregivers are compassionate, patient, and dedicated ” they take the time to get to know each resident personally and provide care that feels both professional and heartfelt. We always feel confident that our aunt is in good hands. There are also so many engaging activities and social events offered throughout the week ” everything from crafts and games to exercise classes and outings. It’s wonderful to see our aunt staying active, happy, and connected with others. We can’t thank the team at SaraBella enough for the kindness and respect they show every day. It’s clear that everyone here truly loves what they do, and it makes all the difference.

Visited my aunt living in memory care here. Was a very nice welcome and check in process to see her. She was very upbeat and talked great about her lunch. She enjoyed the activity that I got to stay and watch. And I noticed her care staff made sure all her needs were met. Really enjoyed the place you all have here. Great place here.

Upon visiting this facility on numerous occasions to aide a lovely lady... I would like to take a moment to specifically mention a wonderful lady named Jausilyne, who is part of a great team in the dining room. Except the service Jausilyne provides, is bar none compared to any other individuals. This lady is as quick as they come... I mean efficiency at its finest!!! Those who are lucky to get her to provide service are the lucky ones I'd say! I would recommend this facility only because of this wonderful lady! It's the wonderful people who do everyday tasks that make a place happen... and this lady makes this place happen with a smile, at every meal! God Bless her to keep doing the awesome work that she does!

SaraBella Senior Living really stood out in our tour of 8 different Sarasota Assisted Living Facilities. Michelle was a star! She and her team really payed close attention to the needs of my parents. It is a beautiful community, very bright and clean. The staff are so nice and you can tell they really like taking care of people. I also really like the food and it’s only $8 dollars to have a meal with my mom. I love the variety of homemade soups every day. I highly recommend Sarabella! It’s a great place to live!

Staff very welcoming! I brought the egg nog for some Christmas Cheer and played Scrabble with Anna. A nice cozy set up at the end of the hallway ending in an alcove of bay windows and lots of sunlight. Anna has her rocking chairs and game folding table for herself and visitors. Just like home! The staff came and wheeled Anna to the first floor lunch area. This is a beautiful place. I enjoy my visit every time! ~ a. bliss

My mom received the most amazing care at SaraBella. I simply could not ask for a more caring and supportive staff. Mom was truly pampered in in her last days with us, and I am over the top grateful to Head Nurse Tammy, and her team (especially Michael, Diane, and Nicole) of highly skilled professionals for the compassion and empathy they showed on a daily basis to my mom and my siblings. I cannot say enough positive things about Alika. She has been one of Terry's best caregivers. She is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. I personally enjoy my daily exchanges with her and count on her making sure Terry is well taken care of and safe. She is a real asset to Sarabella and the memory care residents. Since my mother has joined the Sarabella community she has been very happy! Her one bedroom is perfect size and the Whole staff is wonderful! Very kind and willing to help! From going for our first visit to move in and getting settled there has been so many very sweet and informed people throughout! We have been very happy with the Sarabella staff and facility during the three months our mother has been there. We live out of town and are not able to be there as often as we would like, but we are always reassured on our visits that the staff at Sarabella know and care about all of the residents as individuals. All of Mom’s caregivers have been so kind and caring, and ensure that we are kept in the loop about how she's doing. The buildings are attractive and well maintained, with lovely outdoor spaces for residents. Highly recommend!
