The actual rating should be minus 5. I am finally able to write a review after all the stress that this facility caused me. My husband was admitted in March 2025 with a two year guaranteed rate. In January 2026 I got notice that the rate was increasing and their billing structure was changing and that was an addition charge, all told an addition $1850.00 per month. Then I got another notice that my husband had to be out in 30 days. The staff that had hands on care of my husband were kind and considerate, but the managing staff although they acted friendly in front of me left a lot to be desired behind my back. PLEASE DON'T PUT YOURSELF THROUG THIS AMOUNT OF STRESS AND ACTUL PHYSICAL PAIN.....PUT YOUR LOVE ONES IN A BETTER PLACE

After extensive experience with senior living facilities, my mother and I can confidently say that Antebellum stands above the rest. The management and caregivers are exceptional, the food is the healthiest I’ve encountered, and the structural layout is the safest I’ve seen to date. The residents and caregivers truly feel like family. I highly recommend this facility.

When looking for a place for my 92 yr old Mom, we toured over 15 assisted living homes in Forsyth County, GA. We chose Antebellum, because of the cleanliness, caring staff, and huge apartments. Mom has been here since September 2025 and we still could not be happier. The staff are so accommodating and caring. They make the residence feel at home. Antebellum is simply the BEST!

My mom loves the facility, the staff have been amazing to care for her and let me know if any issues. I wish we had found Antebellum a couple of years ago when I first moved mom to GA. I feel she would have had a lot better life. We have been at Antebellum for a few months and it has been a blessing.

I placed my mother and father at Annabellum Senior living James Bridges about three months ago and it has been a fantastic experience so far. The management team, Crystal, Kelsey, and Shannon are the best. The level of care here far exceeds my expectations. Other senior care living homes that we have been associated with only seem to wanna help the people that can help themselves but here at Annabella they go out of their way to give care to everyone. The whole staff here at antebellum is professional, courteous, and experienced. can’t say enough good things about antebellum James Burgess.

I recently toured Antebellum James Burgess while looking for a nursing home for my grandma, and I was really impressed with the warm and welcoming environment. The staff were kind, the community felt active, and the facility was well-kept. I especially want to give a big shoutout to the Activity Director, who was so friendly and full of great ideas for keeping residents engaged. It gave me peace of mind knowing my grandma would be surrounded by care and positivity

As a chaplain, I have been visiting my hospice patients at this facility for a couple of years now, 4-5 years to be sure. Staffs have been personable, cooperative, and serve residents with utmost concern, compassion, and care. I commend Antebellum for all!

I can’t say enough good things about this assisted living community. The staff is truly exceptional, kind, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of every resident. They go above and beyond to ensure that each person feels cared for, respected, and valued. What stands out the most is the way they treat every resident with dignity. Antebellum is one of the better communities we have in the county. The facility is always clean. The staff is aware of what’s going on with their residents. They are involved, especially with memory care. These residents are doing activities multiple times a day as well as their facility nurse and leadership are all actively involved in what’s best for the residents. Definitely one of the top facilities that I’ve ever been in and I would highly recommend them!

This facility is BEAUTIFUL, BUT, whats a beautiful facility with poor management. The director is not supposed to smell like marijuana. The residents are amazing! If your looking for caring staff this is not the place.

It is a heartbreaking and difficult decision to put your loved one into a facility that can care for them when you no longer can. The staff here are so wonderful and they genuinely care about the residents. They take the time to get to know them and listen to them. They are very good at keeping family members updated and are so good at answering questions. No matter what, they take the time to make sure everyone is safe, happy and healthy.

My wife and have lived here for little over a year now. It is much better than the prior community we were at. The care staff meet our needs without us having to even ask. The administrative team is beyond wonderful like Kelsey and Crystal to name a few. If you need assistance or are looking for a place to live, I would highly recommend Antebellum James Burgess.

My mother and father shared a room at Antebellum James Burgess since about January 2022. My father passed away in September 2022. They both were happy and together, married in January 1958. Now momma is content and satisfied with her care and treatment, misses daddy a great deal, but is coherent, involved in activities, has many friends and likes the staff and is satisfied. If you visit, watch out for the grey headed lady in an electric wheelchair. She tells me when Im leaving from visiting her to drive safely home...I laugh and say dont run over anyone in that wheelchair, and laugh. If she wished to leave Antebellum for any reason, we would discuss it, and I would discourage it without a good reason, but if she wished to leave, we would leave. We could, but I am sure we will not leave. She has had kind and excellent care. She is treated with respect. Her needs and health, and happiness are the most important thing to the staff and all workers there. I love momma and she deserves the best, and I told daddy to not worry, I would take care of her. I miss daddy, and love them both, and I do not lie.

When the Doctor told me I could no longer live alone, my children started looking for a place I could live. They searched the area and decided on Antebellum. After living here for 6 months, I could not be happier. The management of Antebellum is top notch and the building is in great shape. The activities keep you busy. I could not have done a better job of picking out a place to live. The other residents are friendly people and fun to be around. If you are looking for a place, I highly recommend Antebellum.
