The actual rating should be minus 5. I am finally able to write a review after all the stress that this facility caused me. My husband was admitted in March 2025 with a two year guaranteed rate. In January 2026 I got notice that the rate was increasing and their billing structure was changing and that was an addition charge, all told an addition $1850.00 per month. Then I got another notice that my husband had to be out in 30 days. The staff that had hands on care of my husband were kind and considerate, but the managing staff although they acted friendly in front of me left a lot to be desired behind my back. PLEASE DON'T PUT YOURSELF THROUG THIS AMOUNT OF STRESS AND ACTUL PHYSICAL PAIN.....PUT YOUR LOVE ONES IN A BETTER PLACE

When looking for a place for my 92 yr old Mom, we toured over 15 assisted living homes in Forsyth County, GA. We chose Antebellum, because of the cleanliness, caring staff, and huge apartments. Mom has been here since September 2025 and we still could not be happier. The staff are so accommodating and caring. They make the residence feel at home. Antebellum is simply the BEST!

I started volunteering at Antabellum James Burgess over the summer and now intern here. The staff is incredibly caring, and the residents definitely make AJB a great place to work. They are some of the sweetest people. The facility is full of engaging activities for residents and offers a great work environment. I really enjoy interning here and am glad to be part of the AJB team.

I was working here I left because I was tired the issue with Karen a employee she always question my job like she was my supervisor and I was her supervisor she wet my paperwork with her drink she disappeared for long periods we user same loptop I used to passing medication and she used to sharing she always take forever i talk talk to the ED she told me to be patient with her really no thanks

My mother and father shared a room at Antebellum James Burgess since about January 2022. My father passed away in September 2022. They both were happy and together, married in January 1958. Now momma is content and satisfied with her care and treatment, misses daddy a great deal, but is coherent, involved in activities, has many friends and likes the staff and is satisfied. If you visit, watch out for the grey headed lady in an electric wheelchair. She tells me when Im leaving from visiting her to drive safely home...I laugh and say dont run over anyone in that wheelchair, and laugh. If she wished to leave Antebellum for any reason, we would discuss it, and I would discourage it without a good reason, but if she wished to leave, we would leave. We could, but I am sure we will not leave. She has had kind and excellent care. She is treated with respect. Her needs and health, and happiness are the most important thing to the staff and all workers there. I love momma and she deserves the best, and I told daddy to not worry, I would take care of her. I miss daddy, and love them both, and I do not lie.

This facility is one of the BEST facility I have ever been to!! All staff truly care about their residents and they provide the best care. I have never seen staff that treat their residents and the residents family members as their family, but at the Bell they do. Home cooked meals, personalized care, they provide dignity and support to their residents and family members. The staff are very experienced and they care from the heart. The facility is nice and clean, and very well maintained. When you walk in your greeted with a smile, it just seems like home!

When the Doctor told me I could no longer live alone, my children started looking for a place I could live. They searched the area and decided on Antebellum. After living here for 6 months, I could not be happier. The management of Antebellum is top notch and the building is in great shape. The activities keep you busy. I could not have done a better job of picking out a place to live. The other residents are friendly people and fun to be around. If you are looking for a place, I highly recommend Antebellum.

Antebellunm is a wonderful place to work we work as a team to provide the very best level of care we can for the residents who trusted us with they're care . The care provided is unique to the needs of the residents and everyone is family at Antebellunm there's no stranger here

Hello my Name Jj I was the Maintenance Director at the bell . The Staff and especially Shana the Ed truly made this place feel like a home . I loved this place so much I donated a pool table to the Residents so they could enjoy it . Places with Baby grand pianos and 10,000$$$ Chandelier look Great But please Remember that does help you love ones in there time of need . The staff there try there best to treat your love ones with compassion. Please don't be fooled by the bells and whistles take the time to get to know the Staff . That's what really counts. The reason I left was to take time off due to a very bad Bone infection and three foot surgeries. That's the only reason I stepped down. Thank you and please go visit them . I'm just a regular guy
