My mother moved into Ft Vancouver Assisted Living last December. From my first encounter with Dakota to this date has been a God's gift to my family. The administration here has bent over backwards to make my mom feel safe and comfortable. My Mother loves it here. And that alone says a lot. Unfortunately my mother's health needs more assistance and that is never an easy decision or task. The compassion and support I have received from Dakota and his staff has been overwhelming positive. Where do I even begin to describe this place? The staff is amazing, the residents are wonderful. I have been in this industry for seven years now and this is honestly the best place I have ever worked at. The care, love and support that pours out of this place is overwhelming, in a good way. The staff and resident bonds that form are something short of magic. We are a family here and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Working here has been a pleasure! The management is very accommodating and care about the resident. They are highly involved with both staff and residents. All the residents really seem to enjoy living here and are really taken care of. The garden outside is partially maintained by the residents and they do an amazing job with the flowers! No one who has come to live here has left dissatisfied while I have been here.

My Mom really enjoyed her time at FV. We as a family were so nervous for her moving after my Dad passed, but there was no choice. We were introduced to FV by a social worker after hunting for a year. The staff is amazing, the facilities are clean and comfortable, and the residents are very welcoming (especially Linda!). They really do try and make it not just a place to stay, but a home for all the residences.

I have had a really good experience in the time I've spent here (almost nine months). They have even made a lot of great changes since I've been here, it seems like they consistently strive to make things as comfortable as possible for us residents. The staff often go above and beyond when it comes to my care. If I'm having a bad day they always try to put a smile on my face. At 39 I was very worried about adjusting to living here but to my own surprise Im VERY happy with my apartment and the care I receive. If you or a loved one are looking for a safe & loving environment I would highly recommend Fort Vancouver Assisted Living!

The residence and staff make the difference here at FVAL. We celebrate together, we laugh together and sometimes we share tears together. Furthermore, FVAL is a place where the Wow experience shines, festive holiday decore and celebrations, community discussions catered with coffee & donuts and Soo much more.
