My Mom moved in recently she was in rehab/nursing home (no complaints with that facility). She has progressed so much in just a few weeks. When she was the other facility she was always using a wheelchair at Amber court she is using her walker again. She seems to be enjoying life again. Thank you

My mother waited a year and it was well worth it to get into Amber court of Smithtown! The place is beautiful inside and out, the staff is always friendly and there’s so much to do such as movies, musical performances,arts n crafts- trips they can go on etc.The rooms are beautiful with a mini fridge, sink, cabinets with either a private or shared bathroom

I am SO pleased with this facility. The staff is excellent. The place is immaculate. The activities if you want to participate are abundant! The aides, cleaning crew, reception, activity people, nurses, social workers, case managers, management, etc..are all very knowledgeable, helpful and caring. it is a great place for my mom and I feel she is very safe. I would also like to thank and recognize Dahian the HHA director as well as all of the staff. I am very grateful

My sister moved from a local private pay assistant living facility where she had a two room apartment to a friendship suite (one room with a bathroom and shared tea kitchen) at Amber Court. She did not want to move, but could no longer afford to stay. To make the situation worse, she heard only negative reviews from residents who moved from Amber Court. I am delighted to say that she loves her new home. The facility is spotless, the residents and staff are friendly, the food is good, and the activities are superb. There is always something to do. I count my blessings

Wonderful staff, my mom recently moved in an had an unfortunate first nite experience. From administration to maintenance, to caseworkers and aides, everyone did everything they could to make my moms move to another room a smooth transition. My mom has been at Amber Ct of Smithtown since June 2022. The staff has been amazing from administration to maintenance. Everyone I’ve encountered has been accommodating and caring. The facility is always clean and welcoming. I would like to especially thank Ronnie, Stanley, Vanessa, Stacey & Chris in maintenance who have been amazing and go above and beyond for everyone. I would highly recommend Amber Ct to family and friends as I truly appreciate the care my mom receives.

Since you asked, I find that my Mom’s case worker can be unresponsive at times to my requests. For example, I found my Mom’s room was not being properly dusted and vacuumed and told this to her case worker; there was no change. I also asked her case worker for a letter from AC stating that Mom was a resident there (for the purposes of obtaining a RealID for her so she could fly, since her driver’s license has expired). I never got a response of any kind. Perhaps Mom’s case worker is overworked and additional case workers are needed to handle the load. I will say that your front desk staff has been exceptional. They are friendly and very helpful.

I really enjoyed spending a couple of hours painting the elders nails. It was a wonderful experience just talking to them and listening to there stories. They truly made me laugh every minute. It felt good to see them smile and I would love to come back.

Let me start by saying that it's been so difficult to find an assisted living facility for my aunt, I am helping her from Florida so I am relying on a competent individual who can help me with my search and answer all of my questions! I have been trying to find the appropriate residency that she will thrive in. It's been a long journey but I came across a wonderful woman named Laura Lafauci she's the Director of the outreach program for all of the Amber courts and she is just wonderful! I have never been so pleased she is kind, sweet, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable and has the patience to explain everything to you in detail! She is a true find in this upside down world of assisted living facilities lol!

I’m giving four stars and not five because my mom did not actually move in yet. She will be soon. Tina has been amazing. I’ve been in contact with her for over two years in trying to get my mom in. The day has finally come we went to meet with her today and some of the other wonderful staff. They made my mom feel wonderful Tina showed her all around. I’m hoping this continues and my mom will love it there.. Thank you again fir being so caring!

I had a tour of the facilities this week as I am looking for an assisted living for my father. Tina was so nice and very helpful. The facility is beautiful, nice clean rooms and nicely decorated common areas. Everyone we met, staff and residents, were happy and pleasant!

Tina Cullen was able to squeeze me in today for a tour of the facilities. It is a beautiful, warm, extremely clean assisted living center. It felt more like home and a big reason for that was Tina. She greeted all the residences by name, had more than enough patience for their questions and answered all of my questions with the concern and passion of someone who loves their job. I know my mom will be in good hands here. After touring some other facilities, today was the first time that I left upbeat and optimistic. Job well done!

I have to agree about the food, the food is disgusting if you get enough of it to eat. Most of the men are looking for food at night because they are still hungry. A resident shouldn't have to have family members do food shopping with the cost of the monthly charges, except the food is so bad and not enough to eat. The medications are a mess, half the time your getting someone else's meds because they don't have your medication, that is against the law. I don't know how they are getting away with it. I also know they don't always give the medication when they are due, at times the person that lived here received two doses at once and some medication needed not received for days. The only reason I gave two stars, the building looks nice but residents shouldn't have to ask the aides to empty garbage and vacuum. I would like this facility cleaned up and investigated if they don't fix these things.The girls that work at the front desk are friendly and most of the aides are as well!

Moved mom from another assisted living facility a few weeks ago. Amber court is immaculate and the level of care is fantastic! They have a doctor there Monday-Friday and a nurse practitioner as well. Mom seems very happy !!

It has been a great experience from the start. My sister became a resident at Amber Court on July 24th. We worked with Tina who was a tremendous help setting everything up and making my sister feel comfortable and at ease. Transitioning to assisted living is a process that takes time and everyone I have dealt with has made my sister's transition easier. Thank you to all.

My husband and I care for an older elderly deaf couple that aren’t related to us. We placed them in amber court for over a year and this facility truly accommodated to their needs. They can’t speak or hear but they felt right at home. Lauren F- the case manager was amazing!!! It can be very frustrating and confusing learning how to give care to your loved ones and most times people don’t care to help, but Lauren was truly a blessing and amazing gift. She really cares and is very knowledgeable. Thank you all amber court staff!!!

Amber Court is an excellent Assisted Living facility. The attention my cousin has been getting there has been wonderful. It is a very clean place and there are many of aides who help, know your name, take care of residents and are very friendly to everyone. If you are looking for a place for your lived ones in their golden years- Amber Court is the anawer.

My mom has been a resident at Amber Court since October 2018. She is very happy there and has made many new friends. Bingo and poker are her favorite activities but she also enjoys the other social events/activities that Amber Court does.
