I had the pleasure of meeting Gregg and Eileen Balbera a few years ago when our family was in need of home care for our beloved Dad, husband, grandfather and great grandfather who passed away on May 14, 2021. Unfortunately, Dad had a myriad of illnesses, particularly at the end, which included Dementia, Cardiac Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, to name a few. After using home health care aides from other agencies with whom I was displeased with, I contacted Right At Home in Plainview and had nothing but great success with the owners and their aides caring for Dad at home. They cared for his needs, played cards with him, danced with him...made him laugh on days when he didnt feel like it! The owners were compassionate, understanding, and went above and beyond to assist me with scheduling - even at a moments notice. The aides we were fortunate to have with Dad were nothing more than respectful and helpful both in caring for Dad, as well as helping Mom with whatever she might have needed. I would recommend Right at Home to anyone and everyone to assist their loved ones in need......

As an RN for 42 years I am very critical with any type of medical care for myself or family. My husband had progressive Alzheimers and I was trying to take care of him alone at home. I needed a companion who would engage with him and keep his mind active ..not just sit and look at a phone. This was almost four years ago. Greg and Eileen sent a wonderful man around Georges age who became part of our life for the three years prior to George going into a facility. He motivated my husband to engage in activities, always treated him with the dignity and respect that he deserved and most of all became a trusted companion to my husband with the few years of acknowledgement of his surroundings that he had left. When he went into the facility for memory care this companion would continue to take him out for as long as he was able until he wasnt. I used them for myself when I had shoulder surgery and have recommended them to anyone who asks about home care or medical help. They do what they say, have a wonderful office staff who are compassionate and caring, especially Valerie, and most of all are there to help in the true sense of the word when life is being rough. I cannot recommend them highly enough. This agency is the best.

The companys motto Right Care, Right People, Right at Home cant be any closer to the truth. My wife needed hospice service at home - her body would not tolerate another chemotherapy infusion. It was our first time down this path. We initially had aides from a company that didnt fulfill the promise in its very name. When aides Stacy and Claude from Right at Home came onboard we were so pleasantly surprised by not only their professionalism, but by the care and compassion they showed toward my wife and my family. They were self-starters, as the saying goes - they anticipated my wifes needs and made a great effort in keeping her comfortable. It was obvious that both Stacy and Claude loved taking care of people. It must be the corporate culture - Gregg and Eileen hired people that cared and my wife was a beneficiary of that caring. Thank you!

My mom is 92 years old, and I was in need of a home health aide ASAP. My mom had fallen several times, and she couldnt stay at home alone any longer. As soon as I called Right At Home, and spoke with Eileen the owner, I knew this was the agency I wanted to help me with for my mom. Eileen is so informative, caring and professional. I highly recommend that you call Right at Home to help you through the difficult task of finding the right person for your loved one. The aide they sent mom, Linda, treated my mom like her own mom. She was so sweet and respectful, and my mom loved her. Eileen and her husband Gregg, who does all the financial, were wonderful to work with. The staff was a pleasure also-knowledgeable and so sweet.

Picking Right at Home Nassau Suffolk as a companion company for my mom was a blessing. At the time Sept 2018, my mother was still coming downstairs, sitting on the deck all day enjoying the outdoors. Marie and her would laugh all day as Marie did all the day to day activities. We speak French and so did Marie. It was perfect. My mother loved her. Right before Thanksgiving 2019 my moms dementia had gotten bad. She really only stayed in her bed since Sept. Marie would sit next to her, clean her with a sponge bath, do her hair, change the bed, and all of the things that me the daughter didnt feel comfortable doing. Marie became part of our family. I honestly do not know who we would of managed without her. My mother trusted her fully and that is an important of the relationship. My mother past April 6, 2020 from natural causes. My family will be forever grateful for Marie.

Gregg and Eileen of Right At Home supported my family through difficult times as we navigated through at home care for my aging father. From our very first meeting we knew we were in good hands. They truly care about their clients and their families and their own staff. Gregg and Eileen were there for us every step of the way - from understanding our needs, arranging care givers that were a good fit for my father, assisting us as our needs changed, navigating through COVID, and even handling filing claims. They, their office staff and care givers helped us through challenging times.

I was referred to Right at Home Nassau-Suffolk for a dear family member of ours. She was released from the hospital just as the pandemic began yet Right at Home was able to staff care 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. It was not without an issue but when we called to deal with a problem, I ALWAYS got either Eileen or Gregg Balbera on the line quickly and they immediately fixed what needed tending to. Over the several months we used their service, I found that both Eileen and Gregg were invested in getting the care that was needed. There were also some stand outs of the caregivers to include Marie who developed a real interest in our loved ones care. This was the first time I ever had to arrange such a service and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Right At Home is a wonderful agency if you need home care for someone. My 100 year old father fell and broke his shoulder and 3 ribs, so we needed 24 hour care for him for a while when he came home from the hospital. When I called Right At Home, the owners Eileen and Gregg Balbera explained everything fully. I also had so many questions and they were always super nice answering them. If I didnt speak directly to them, one of the office staff (Tiffany, Eugenia, Chanette) would call me about staffing and hours. The aides were also great. Dave and Michael worked the most with my dad, and were amazing. We also had Charlozze, Yatmaran, Chris, Sharon and Renee. They were all very nice, but even better, kept my father safe while recuperating. Right At Home also works and coordinates with Visiting Nurse Services for extra care (Registered nurse, physical therapist, etc). Thank you Right at Home!!

What a great home care agency Gregg and Eileen Balbera run in Smithtown. They have done such a great job of hiring the right kind of caregivers (top notch) and focused on quality.
