As a healthcare giver myself in a hospital I understand what it takes to be that kind of person . We have one caregiver Nikita who is with my 94yo old mom the most who is very special to us. This was my first time using a caregiving service for my 80-year-old mother with moderate dementia and mobility issues. Roberta was awesome! I started with her there a few days before I left, to help get my mom acquainted. Last minute I started rethinking if I should go on a much-needed break/trip as I was nervous to leave her. Roberta knew exactly what to say, and she assured me to go and things would be fine. And she was right! I hope to take advantage of this service again. Julie, the coordinator, was also great in getting me started and finding the right fit. Highly recommend looking into Comfort Keepers so you can take a break too!

My wife, Jean, is recovering from a stroke that resulted in a right side paralysis. To help us in Jeans recovery we went to Comfort Keepers. We have been fortunate to have been assigned as Comfort Keeper, 4 mornings-week, Allison. Allison provides excellent health aide home care for Jean, keeps our home redd up(Ohio jargon for good shape), and provides Jean with a willing ear and encouragement as she recovers. We have had Comfort Keepers for up to 7 days-week. All Comfort Keepers assigned to us have been first rate. However, Jean and I have found Allison to be something special. Jean and I enthusiastically recommend the services.

Comfort Keepers provided transportation for my out patient surgery. It was very easy to work with the administrative staff. The cost was also reasonable and instead of abandoning the patient, their policy is to wait for the duration of the surgery. The caregiver they sent was Samantha. She was just lovely: early, kind, comforting, articulate and dealt well with my vapors. I suffer from free floating anxiety and, Comfort Keepers, and both the administrative and care staff made this experience almost pleasant.

My aide Barbara Alamazaniia, has been wonderful, polite and professional. She has a nacque to anticipate my needs before I even ask. She is very cheerful and polite. My cat is a good judge of people and he likes her very much. She is always neat , clean and attractive and speaks at the proper volume to be heard clearly without shouting. Barbara is always on time. There are several things that distinguishes CK from a previous agency that we used: (1) CK does not double bill; (2) CK pays benefits to its full-time employees (employees who regularly work 30 or more hours per week per CK); (3) the aides use a location-aware app to check in when they arrive and check out when they leave (which prevents discrepancies between hours onsite and hours billed); and (4) its easy to review the caregiver schedule and care notes online, and its easy to review and pay invoices online.

We have never hired a home healthcare professional. So naturally we were apprehensive as to how my father would adjust. The moment Barbara walked in, we were immediately put at ease. Her friendly and relaxed demeanor gave us the feeling that she was practically a member of the family. And although my father is in his mid nineties the repour was immediate. Comfort Keepers has been an amazing help in taking care of my mom after a prolonged hospitalization. During the hospitalization when things were very up in the air, they were extremely flexible on start dates and very thorough in following up with me (since my head was NOT very clear, I really appreciated this). Now we have some excellent caregivers in Robin and Carolyn and I have some time for myself with the knowledge my mom is okay at home. Samantha her care coordinator has been extremely easy to communicate with. The whole organization seems to really care about us. If you are wondering whether this type of in-home care is worth it, it 100% is!

I have been using Comfort Keepers Home Care for my mother since August 2019. Both my mother and I feel well taken care of! Mom is happy with the two caregivers who have been with her. She feels they are competent, responsive to her needs and professional. I am happy that she is happy! Additionally, I interact with Comfort Keepers for scheduling and administration. Their automated billing process is excellent. They are very responsive to scheduling requests including emergency coverage and selection process of caregivers. I also appreciate having a main contact in the Gainesville office who handles my mothers case as well as emergency numbers for non-business hours needs. I can recommend Comfort Keepers to any family that strives to keep a loved one comfortable in his-her own home. Comfort Keepers has given my mother the best possible quality of life given her health limitations and given me peace of mind.

They were prompt, responded immediately to a telephone message and scheduled an appointment. All personnel were caring and concerned. During the initial assessment, Samantha was personable, polite and professional. She made suggestions and recommendations for services based on her interview with the patient and observing the household. Although the patient returned to the hospital and never used the service, Samantha called to check on her. Comfort Keepers staff were a calming voice during a difficult time. I will contact them again should the need arise.

I appreciate CK providing respite care once a week, running errands and getting supplies, checking mail, providing some social interaction, etc. for my dad. They have been a very good partner to us since we dont live that close. They communicate very well and ensure we make adjustments as needed. I also like that they have a lot of other services they can provide as needed in the future.
