My mother is currently being cared for by the owners Emily, Andrew and the staff at the "The Promised Land" Adult Family Home. She has been there coming up on about a year and a half. I have the highest regard for all the people that work there. They are a happy staff, easy to work with, warm, kind, attentive, gentle and take care of all my mother's needs. The environment is modern, clean and very beautiful inside and outside. They have fun activities for the residents which is important to keep them active and alert. The home attracts a very good caliber of residents which I think is also very important. Most important, however, is that my mother is happy there. For me, I travel out-of-town frequently so knowing she is well cared for and content creates peace of mind. A big thanks to the owners and staff at The Promised Land Adult Family Home for a job well done. Mike Golan

My father has been a resident at 'The Promised Land Adult Family Home' for the past 8 months and we as a family could not be more thankful for the care and compassion he is receiving there. This is a family-owned clean beautiful home where the residents can be together and socialize. The owners Emily and Andrew and their entire staff are so attentive to each individual person that lives there. The food is excellent, it always smells delicious, and I love that there is so much variety, they don't serve the same things every day. I also appreciate how they make the house so welcoming, not only for the residents but for their families. They go all out and decorate the house for each season, and it just feels so cozy when you enter the home. I recommend them 100%, very good care, residents are happy, excellent food, excellent caregivers!

My mom received excellent care from Emily, Andrew and their staff. I could tell that they really cared about her and wanted her to be healthy, happy and comfortable. This gave our family peace of mind. It's hard to trust others to care for a loved one, but we are thankful we chose The Promised Land.

My Mom has been living at The Promised Land for about two years. Andrew and Emily have taken exceptional care of her and have welcomed us like family. It's hard to make life changing decisions for a parent but this was an easy choice. With a high ratio of caregivers to residents, my Mom gets the attention and care she needs with advanced Alzheimer's. It gives me great piece of mind to know that she is safe, and well cared for. Andrew and Emily are always cheerful and professional and are a wealth of knowledge and compassion. I highly recommend this facility!

It was a difficult decision to place my Mom in a adult family home, when her Alzheimer's worsened. She was no longer receiving quality care at the Assisted Living she was at. We wanted to find a place that would be gentle, compassionate and loving with my Mom. While allowing her to have dignity. I am so glad my sister foun The Promised Land. Emily and Andrew and the other caregivers take such good care of her. The facility is warm and welcoming and truly feels like a family home. They make sure she is up and dressed and out of bed. They sit and eat meals together at the dining room table. They even had a little party for her birthday. I can't say enough about the care she receives and I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Promised Land.

I regularly visit a family member at The Promised Land care facility. The care provided is loving, kind, and family style. The facility is very clean with comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces for the residents and guests. I can't say enough about the owners and staff. They are warm and professional. I highly recommend!

Thank you: Claudia, Emily, Andrew: We are so grateful for all the wonderful care that you gave our Mom at the Promised Land. While she was there, we always knew that Mom was receiving loving, nurturing care and attention. This was especially comforting as she lived to 103 years of age. All of our family was made welcome and encouraged to visit Mom. If her status or care needs changed, we were alerted and the care plan was adjusted. In addition, all of the residents enjoyed special occasions (birthdays and holidays), which created that warm home atmosphere. I am so grateful that we found Promised Land for our Mom and that they had an opening just when we needed it. I saw an amazing improvement in her health after just a few days under their care. They are so kind, patient and compassionate. You can tell they truly care. I am so impressed with the way they communicate any health concerns not only with us but with her doctor. I never have to worry that she isn't getting the care she needs. I highly recommend Promised Land.

The owners and staff at Promised Land have taken care of my dad for the past 10 months. They truely care for the residences. He has continued to get stronger since being there. He gets great well rounded and heathly meals. It was the best thing we did to have him placed there.

My father spent his last four years at PL. He was welled care for each and every day by loving, caring, conscientious, hardworking, and patient careproviders. I was welcomed anytime and was able to focus on quality visits with my father because his physical needs were taken care of. PL is very clean, has lovely front and backyard, beautiful fishtank, positive atmosphere, weekly activities, and holiday/special celebrations. I live close to PL and was there 2 to 3 times a week I saw professional and loving care everytime. Thank you Promise Land!

This is a beautiful adult family home, that is large, clean, and even has a COVID-19 safe outdoor area with heat lamps and comfortable seating (photo attached). The owners Emily and Andrew Fitzgerald are so kind, professional, knowledgable and truly provide quality healthcare without compromise! I'm a pharmacist that came in to do a medication review, and I was so impressed with how organized they were and the steps they took to ensure that all of their residents medications were in date, in stock and stored appropriately. If you're thinking of living or working here, you won't regret it!!

There is probably no more difficult responsibility for a child than to be faced with the task of finding a place where their parents will be spending the remainder of their life. After a fair amount of time searching, we discovered The Promised Land. Three of our parents became clients there over the course of sixteen years. We cannot say enough about the positive experience we have had. Their compassionate and loving care complimented by their absolutely pristine surroundings gave us the much -needed assurances we we were looking for. We would highly recommend The Promised Land to anyone looking for an Adult Family Home with NO reservations.

THE Promised Land AFH has been a Godsend for my father and our family. Dad has progressive dementia. Staff at The Promised Land have seen him through the many phases of this disease and have met the challenges well, and will continue to do so. When first looking for long-term care for my father, I was very anxious and stressed to find him good care. It is hard for me to trust, but as soon as I visited The Promised Land AFH, I knew immediately this would be the best place for my dad to get the care he needs. They are kind people who truly care about the comfort of their residents. They make sure my dad is safe, clean, well-fed and pampered. The home is large, lovely and very comfortable. During the height of the COVID pandemic, visits to see my dad were restricted to outdoors -- and that is always a nice experience, because the gardens and pond in the backyard are very nice. When the weather turned cold, the group home owners designed and built an outdoor deck, shielded from wind and equipped with outdoor heaters, which allowed for comfortable visits. They did not have to put all that time and money into such major construction! They did it, because they love their residents and know that family visits are beneficial to all involved. I am so grateful to the owners - Emily and Andrew - and their team of caregivers. I know my dad is treated well and lovingly cared-for. I'm also grateful to Claudia and Vio, who passed their knowledge and love down to Emily and Andrew, who have carried through with their family tradition of caring for people.

Our mother spent the last 4 years of her life at Promised Land. The staff and caregivers were so kind and patient with everyone. Mom would often say, "they are so good to me". We cannot be more grateful that we found Promised Land, and highly recommend it!

Only superlatives for this place. My mother was fortunate to join the family setting at The Promised Land in March 2021. We were referred by a friend who had an outstanding experience with their loved one. They have space for six residents. Have two to four caregivers at all times. Excellent food. Popcorn and apple juice for movie afternoons. A beautiful backyard for enjoying sunny days. You feel love everywhere.

My Mom is a resident of The Promised Land. We were so concerned about finding a place that we believed could take care of her as well as we wanted! She has been there over a year and they have exceeded our expectations! Every time I call and/or visit the place is clean, the residents are clean and well groomed. The staff is always doing laundry, making meals, and entertaining the residents. I get pictures of the different activities they have them doing. I never worry about my Mom's well being since she has been there. I would recommend the Promised Land to anyone who cares about the well being of a family member!

Thankful for the Promise Land this side of heaven! Having spent a great deal of time researching Adult Family Homes for my mom, we found this one top notch! Emily & Andrew, along with their special dedicated team of caretakers are exceptional! Mom had a complex health situation with multiple issues and they really cared and helped her through very difficult time. She was loved, nurtured and had her every need attended to well. Knowing your loved ones are being cared for like family is invaluable. Thank you to everyone at Promise Land for helping our mom! Your support, always going the extra mile, explicit attention to medical details, exercise strengthening, nutrition & hydration program really blessed her the last part of her life. And thank you especially for caring for her soul & spiritual needs. She is peacefully at home with her Heavenly Father in the real Promised Land. Thank you for loving her well.
