Meals are ordered from a menu, and the food is always well prepared and nicely presented. The facility itself is also very well maintained and frequently receives compliments from visitors, which reflects the pride and care that go into keeping it attractive and welcoming. I have spent many meaningful years here, including the years I shared with my wife before she passed away three years ago. That history gives me a deep appreciation for the community, stability, and quality of life this place has provided. Touchmark has a wonderful and willing staff to address our needs, we have been able to communicate with the management, if we have a concern, and we feel they listen to us and help address the concern(s). The meals are wonderful and the cooking staff take into consideration the various needs of the many residents. Maintenance concerns are addressed promptly. We have been living here in an independent living apartment for the last 7 months. It’s not your typical house but it’s perfect for this time of our lives. It’s like a college campus with better accommodations. Yes it is expensive but for many people selling their homes is the key to financial freedom . Everyone here cares about you. From the waiters to the administrators all treat you with the same kindness and respect that you would expect from your family. Everyone here has a smile on their face including all of the residents. Ben and I moved into Touchmark three years ago and have been very pleased with the care we receive in the Meadows Assisted Living facility at the Meridian location. At first we lived in the independent living section for ten months and decided that Ben needed more help, so at that time we transferred to the assisted living side. Since we have moved here we have been pleased with our choice. It is a pleasure for me to tell you about how great our caregivers are. They are very well trained and are respectful and great at all times. They never complain when asked to do something that is unpleasant. They ask if there is anything else we need. Eleven months ago, my husband and I faced a big decision. Our doctor encouraged us because of my husband’s failing health to consider a transition to independent living in a place that had graduated care. We looked at eight different facilities in the Boise area. It started with Madison in marketing who took a personal interest in us and our dog, Baxter. It didn’t take long to see the difference at Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village was by far the best possible choice. I’ve been asked by some people what is my favorite part of living here? For both my husband and me, it is without question the wonderful staff that we interact with each day. We know all the servers by name and count them as part of our Touchmark family. They make us smile and bring joy to everyone. Derek, Leah, Genevieve, Haddie, Bella, Victoria, Silas, Micah, Daniel, Ava, Abby, Elijah, Monia, Isha and many moreThank you so much! Our dining room supervisor, Dawn is constantly working to make dining a good family oriented experience with quality service. Mack, as Director will plan parties or family gatherings that are top notch. Laura, Jen, Chase and Carol are the team that make the Health and Fitness team a wonderful place to heal, have fun and grow stronger. There are so many enriching experiences available. I wanted to learn something new and so I joined the Ukulele group. What fun this group has been! We play every week. Now I never want to miss it! There are so many wonderful people here. The front desk workers, Kit is just one, but all are exceptional. I love the great work our housekeepers do. Joy and Lourdes are quality gals and workers. The bus driver is kind who gives a ride when my husband had knee surgery and overdid it walking. The home Health care workers like Karol are dedicated to caring for those residents who need extra care and support. We even have a resident Geriatric Dr. Megan DuNay who is one of only six in Idaho. She Is the best doctor we’ve ever had! The best part are the wonderful new friends that share all these experiences as a family every day including Chapel and Bible studies, as well as, a common bond that has been created because we’re all in the same place and time of life. Touchmark has a vision for these being our best years as well as our last stages of life. What makes all of this work, I believe is the vision, values and training that happens each and every day under the leadership of our Director, Jill Berry. This excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion are what drive every staff member each day. These allies, friends and givers are what make every day a Touchmark day. My mom lived here for about 3 years. Starting in the Villas and then in assisted living in the Elkhorn lodge. My experience, her experience was far better than what we realistically expected. It's usually easy to tell when a business is well run--they maintain long term high quality employees. Mom's final months in assisted were as good as anyone could hope. The caregivers truly cared. They became her friends and with us visiting frequently we could see the difference that made. Touchmark is a lovely full service retirement facility for our aging communities. This state of the art location offers everything from fully independent housing to assisted living and memory care. My parents shared an apartment together and were very pleased with the services that were provided. My dad had Alzheimer’s and my mother was no longer able to provide him the care needed. Through Touchmark my mother was able to share an apartment with her husband and still feel independent while he was provided the top notch care he required. The facility offers full meal service including a dining hall and a restaurant. They have many on site activities, grocery delivery, and a shuttle to take them to local restaurants, activities, appointments, and shopping. There is also a full service mail center and beauticians on site. They also have full medical staff including doctors are readily available to ensure their medical needs are met. My parents were very happy while in residence. The staff is top notch and showed them love, kindness and respect through their stay. During their time there, I never had any doubts about the quality of care provided. Touchmark truly does offer high quality care that cannot be matched.

My client has lived at meadowlake village for almost 15 years because she loves it! The staff is very well trained, very friendly, fun, and always go out of their way to provide excellent service. In fact, recently, as my clients needs changed, she needed to decide to move from independent living into the assisted living side of Touchmark. It was amazing how the staff made this transition so very simple. We were connected with a moving company that did all the packing and moving. All we had to do was bring our client over. Then, to our elation, our client absolutely loves the new apartment, the staff, the food, and life enrichment activities. She and we could not be happier. Good job Touchmark! Thank you!

While visiting family my wife and I recently stayed at one of the Villas at Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village in Meridian, Idaho. What a special place-- with the snow covered mountains in the background and open space in the surrounding area. We thought we were at a luxury destination resort. The villa was well appointed with brand new appliances and upgraded features. We experienced the Health and Fitness Club and used the "state of the art" equipment and met all of the energetic staff. We also had good experiences with the exercise classes and the indoor pool activities. In addition, we found the 9 hole executive golf course a fun challenge. The lake and fowl around the course are beautiful to the eye. With those leisure activities available, we stayed busy and active. One final comment about the location. It is perfectly placed alongside a major highway, close to the airport, very near medical services, and close to the major shopping area. The community provides transportation to these sites, as necessary. We enjoyed seeing the other components of the campus. We enjoyed reading in the library and sitting by the large fireplace. All of the grounds and equipment are maintained in good shape and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and were quite professional. We had several meals in the different restaurants and all the meals were very satisfactory. Most important, again the cooks, waiters and desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My wife talked with our family member and many of the residents and they all were pleased with this community, the other residents and the staff. In conclusion my wife and I are highly satisfied with everything about Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village. This community will be at the top of our list as we prepare for our move.

It has been almost a year since my parents (ages 89 and 93) moved into Touchmark's independent living apartment. While moving, and the related transition are never easy, Touchmark now feels like home. The experience has exceeded our expectations; a beautiful, safe, and well maintained facility, positive energy and many fun activities for residents and family/guests, great food and dining in the dining room and/or White Pine bar, and most importantly - incredible staff who go out of their way to make every resident feel cared for and at home. We can't imagine a better living situation for Mom and Dad. We always look forward to our visits together in their new home.

Their caregiver, Amber White, called us "c****" several times, called us several other foul names, and was doing drugs while on the job. She also spoke very racistly of African Americans and minorities. She even offered to invite us to her home, *******************, to smoke some "blunts" with her. When she told her we were appalled by the vulgar and totally inappropriate way in which she conducted herself around us, she told us to come to her house so she could "beat the crap out of us." Be advised, her home at **************** is a meth lab. Her phone number is **********. She also goes by the name Amber Lewis or Amber Dawn Lewis or Amber Dawn White. She lies about everything and has a psychopathic urge to hurt people for no reason. She is fat ugly white trash. She is totally trashy and a very typical Idahoan. Amber Dawn White of *****, Idaho clearly has a mental illness amongst other problems and she should never be allowed to work in health care again.

For eight years my mother lived in a wonderful retirement apartment by Green Lake in Seattle. When we moved her back to Boise two years ago I was worried about the standard of living she had experience there. Our family has found that Touchmark is above and beyond in their care for our mother. She is in assisted care and loves her apartment and feels well cared for. She also feels safe and says the staff is very good to her. We feel her hair has never looked better with Misty’s weekly attention. The nursing staff is phenomenal and we have never seen a nurse as dedicated as Kim. She is knowledgeable and hard-working and very loving. One of the traits that I feel is important is when I do have a question or a concern I am treated with interest and respect. They try to accommodate us in every way possible. Our family is grateful to the staff here.

Our mother is very well taken care of. She has frequent visits from the staff each day to deliver her meds, take her vitals and deliver meals when she requests them. We feel confident about our mother's care and are worry free. Everyone is treated like family and the staff always calls residents by name when they see them.
