Their employees are online saying some concerning things. Tried to speak with staff and was told what they don’t care what employees do in their personal lives. That is terrifying, considering they are working with the most vulnerable in our community. I’m sad to believe this employee was a representation of how the company feels, but it is most sadly most likely true.. Theresa at the front desk was very nice.

We absolutely love everything about Silverado! My mother moved in over a year ago and she has been cared for with kindness, love and dignity. When you walk into Silverado it feels like a home rather than a facility. The staff is cheerful, the decorations are beautiful and the sweetest pets bring joy to the residents. The food is fabulous and they provide a wonderful calendar of events both at Silverado and within the community. They provide family engagements every month and so much time and preparation go into each one of these special events. Before we chose Silverado I was exhausted trying to care for my mother with Alzheimer's but now I get to enjoy being a daughter and spend quality time with my mom. This has allowed my mom independence in a safe loving home and has allowed me to focus on my relationship with my mom. Silverado has been a blessing to our family!

We just recently moved my brother to Silverado and the relief I already feel to have him in such a loving, caring place gives me such peace of mind. The atmosphere is nothing like I’ve ever seen before in any other place. He seems so happy there and he gets lots of attention. I had the opportunity to attend a Halloween After-Hours event for the Lee's Summit Chamber this past year at Silverado. The Silverado staff was truly amazing ... everyone was so kind, and understanding (I broke a ceramic pumpkin by accident with my purse!). The way they showed care and welcomed the residents to the event was just so nice. Silverado was an absolute blessing for our family. Every single person there took the time to truly get to know my husband ” not just his needs, but his personality, his humor, and the small things that made him him. The level of care was incredible. Even on the hard days, when challenges came up (as they do), they always had a thoughtful solution and handled everything with calm, confidence, and compassion. There was always something happening ” activities, music, visits, conversations ” and the team consistently tried to engage him in ways that felt meaningful. Words alone cannot express how thankful I am for Silverado. My mom had some extreme behaviors and we were desperate for help. I’ve had experiences with a couple other memory car/assisted living facilities in the area and Silverado blows them out of the water. They are not only staffed well, but the staff sincerely love and care for each resident. They are communicative, patient, and kind with both residents and families. The residents are also kept busy doing fun and engaging activities. Silverado is wonderful; the biggest blessing, and I cannot thank them enough. They created the space for my mother and I to repair our relationship and be joyful before she passed. And for that I will forever be grateful.

Silverado Lee's Summit Memory Care is absolutely wonderful. From Day 1, when my dad moved in, he felt so welcomed, appreciated and cared about. The admin staff, nursing staff, amazing caregivers & housekeeping - all so caring & compassionate. Not one time in all our visits there did we see anything of concern. Dad formed bonds with so many there and it was obvious how much they cared about him. He was very content and grateful to be there. We were always kept well informed. They offer so many great activities, outings, family events, exercise and more. Watching how much the Silverado staff genuinely enjoys interacting with their residents gave us peace of mind. Beautiful spotless clean facility. I felt like I was in a beautiful large home. The staff was very friendly and the residents were engaged -- getting ready for a Happy Hour with entertainment. The chef and help staff were so friendly andtgdd we good was spectacular. The best French potato salad I e ever eaten!. The chef was knowledgeable and the cook told me how he prepared the delicious potato salad! I loved visiting this welcoming happy home!

My Dad spent his last weeks there and I can’t say enough about how lovely the place was. The staff and space were outstanding. Beautiful facility with wonderful caregivers who helped us so carefully through a horrible time. Massively accommodating and professional. I wanted to shower them with thank you notes but was too overcome with grief at the time. But I want to at least now offer a beyond sparkling review. My Dad was in such a safe loving space because of this place and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

My mom's been at Silverado for 3 months and our family is very pleased. Like any transition for someone with dementia, it took her the full 8-12 weeks for her to adjust. The staff has been EXCELLENT to work with! First, they all know her name. All means - no matter what their job/role is on the Silverado team - they call my mom by her name. My mom responds with a smile and a hug for them ... so I know these relationships are genuine. She might have dementia, but she does NOT forget how people treat her. If she didn't care for someone, she'd tell me. The other families that visit their loved ones are equally as kind to all residents. We are in this together! I visit my mom every day. Have a seen some things before staff? Of course! Did I report it? Absolutely! Was it taken care of? Immediately! I feel heard when I bring something to their attention or I have a concern. Whether it's a clean up situation or a health concern of my mom, I'm listened to and it's taken care of. The flurry of activity is on-going and planned to meet the needs of elderly with memory issues. The field trips are the best as my mom gets her adult time away from Silverado. Even though she forgets to tell me about going bowling, to Top Golf, to lunch, coffee, etc. Silverado shares pictures online so I can use these as conversation starters. I enjoy planning my visits to hear the musicians! They are fabulous. I've recently joined the monthly family support group. It was a nice conversation learning how similar our experiences are with a loved one struggling with memory and cognitive activities. It's an added bonus for families to learn about what is happening. As you can see, we are extremely happy. When my siblings have come from out of town, they are relieved that we found such a perfect place for our mom.

We are so pleased about the care our mom is receiving at Silverado. Our mom is happy. There are activities which the staff ensures our mom participates. It's wonderful to see our mom enjoying an afternoon with a root beer float, enjoying snacks with live music, different crafts and activities. The staff is wonderful, helpful and caring. For the last 6+ years I have been assisting seniors and their families find safe and appropriate senior living options. Silverado Memory care is one of my go-to options. I like that they strive to be very purposeful in terms of activities with all of their residents that are on their personal dementia journeys. The activities of the day are not just time fillers but are targeted to basic components or pillars for increased quality of life. They are also able to provide a high level of care thus enabling residents to age in place gracefully. I meet primarily with their Family Ambassador, Whitney, who has always impressed me as she consistently goes above and beyond in service of residents or even potential residents and their families.

So far my mother has been treated with care and respect. All the staff knows her and in 3 days! We have some food restrictions and they all know it and watch out for her. Had a dance party earlier today and all the residence lived it. They really care about the residence there and I know Mom will thrive with the interaction! It is a wonderful environment!

I’m impressed with the quality of care, activities, and compassion at Silverado. I was very concerned that my sibling would not adjust to moving out of her house and into a memory care facility. To my surprise and delight the staff made her feel welcomed and encouraged her to be involved. She’s adjusted very well, made friends and living a great life.

I am late posting this review but still wanted to say what a great place this is. My sister went to live there before she passed and I am still amazed at the great care she received. I’ve had the opportunity to learn about the advancements Silverado is making in the area of memory care from a professional standpoint and from seeing firsthand how well a friend’s mother is thriving under their care and programming. The Silverado staff in Lee’s Summit are some of the most compassionate professionals I have ever met. They truly seeks to honor the residents’ unique interests and work tirelessly to keep family relationships intact.

My ex-husband has been at Silverado for almost a year. It's very scary when you have to put a loved one in assisted living. I made several calls to different places around the KC area. When I found Silverado I didn't look any further. They were kind, the place is very clean. It's all memory care so that's what it is completely geared towards which I think makes a very big difference. I feel like he is safe and very well cared for. They keep the residents busy. The staff is friendly. They got several resident animals. If there's been something that's come up, they always call. I would highly recommend Silverado Memory care in Lee' summit, Missouri to anyone that needs that type of care for their loved ones. With him being there, it's taken a lot of worry away because I know he's safe and happy there.
