My sister arrived at colonial gardens around a month ago, she was in the last stages of dementia. I found the staff to be caring and attentive to her, making sure she was always comfortable.

This place is amazing. My family sent my grandma here; Opaal helped me with any questions or concerns I had and made sure my grandma was comfortable and taking care of! And I couldn't thank the staff enough for making sure my grandma was taken care of! Thank you again, Opaal and colonial gardens.

It's a beautiful community with a gorgeous backyard. The staff truly cares about the residents and will go above and beyond. Both homes have private rooms that are clean and spacious.

This was like visiting a family home; we were greeted and shown the way to our family member's room and given privacy. All of our questions regarding his care were answered. The staff was always attentive and prompt and friendly.

If you are looking for a small Memory Care Community with an open floor plan, so that your loved ones can walk freely, or are searching for a place with amazing gardens then Colonial Gardens is the place for you. Opaal is the Executive Director and she without a doubt has my seal of approval. She is beyond dedicated to her residents and staff. She has been there for years and puts her heart and soul into job. She cares for her residents like they are her own family. As I have learned over the years everywhere you go has it positives and negatives, no place is perfect, but when you find a place that is ran by someone who gives it their all; then you know it can be trusted. One of the houses has recently been remodeled and is beautiful. All the suites are private, and there is even a spa room with a jacuzzi tub. So if you are looking for a Community that feels like home, then I highly recommend Colonial Gardens.

We are always greeted by friendly staff when we arrive. I appreciate the help that is offered when visiting my dad and the interaction between staff and my dad as well. Those that personally change and care for my Dad know us by name and keep us informed of any issues and/incidents regarding my Dad without having to ask.

Colonial Gardens had and excellent Activity program the residents wake up and ready for exercises to start the day off then a Art and Craft program ,cross words puzzle, a wonderful meals selection wonderful gardening and outside patio,later on the residents play wheel of fortune on the white board Colonial Gardens always had a nice section of table games for the residents to play out through the day balloon and ball toss games they love bowling,ring toss,beans bag toss the residents here at Colonial Gardens enjoy our parties here birthday,social hour,and holidays they enjoy daily walks

This Community is great! The executive director and staff are really warm and helpful. This has been such a stressful process, trying to find the right place for my mother, but they made us feel right at home here. When we walked in the doors we knew it was the right place for her. They are supportive of my mom but also of my whole family. We couldnt have asked for a better memory care community.

After touring multiple facilities we knew Colonial Gardens was the one. It had everything we were looking for, private room, great price, great food. I wanted a home for my mom where she would have friends and be happy and that is exactly what she has. It has been 7 months and I am still just has happy to day with them as I was one day 1.

Small homey and great staff since the new executive director Angel was appointed!! She got rid of the dead wood and implemented wonderful new programs such as the Mens Club, Happy Hour and local excursions!! sense that my brother seems happier now!! Hes a gentle soul!!

We have had an exceptional experience with the staff at Colonial Gardens. From our first contact with the director to the recent passing of my mother-in-law, the staff was patient, attentive, caring, and responsive to our requests or inquiries. The facility is always clean--never a bad odor--which was not our experience with other facilities. Most residents are together during the day in common areas, watching TV, involved in games, puzzles, or crafts if they are able, and there are events for special occasions and often live music entertainment for the residents. We were very impressed with the lack of turnover of staff, too. We feel that this was the best place my mother-in-law could have been to spend her last days.
