We went to the Easter egg hunt. Wow, what a great experience for our little 2 year old. Everyone was so nice and they had so many fun things for the kids to do. Cookies, real bunnies, fun tattoos and the Easter bunny. Thanks so much it will be a great memory we will always treasure.

I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the incredible care my mother, Maria, received at Legacy Memory Care in Taylorsville. During my mother’s journey with dementia, the nurses and CNAs treated her with extraordinary kindness, patience, and dignity. Dementia is a difficult and heartbreaking illness, not only for those who suffer from it, but also for their families. Knowing that my mother was surrounded by compassionate, attentive caregivers brought our family tremendous comfort and peace. I would especially like to recognize Dawn and Gloria, who were so attentive to my mother. Their gentle presence, patience, and genuine care did not go unnoticed. They took the time to truly see Maria as a person, not just a resident, and their kindness meant more to our family than words can express. Our dear mother passed away last month, after spending her last year in memory care at Legacy Village in Taylorsville. The entire staff, everyone in each capacity, provided excellent care, love and compassion for her, and for the wonderful community in which she lived. She looked forward to each morning, to each day’s activities, and to the comradery she felt from everyone around her. Caring for, and managing the life, health, and living arrangements of an elderly parent, one suffering from dementia, and mobility limitations, is not an easy task. With the help of Legacy Village of Taylorsville, my mother, my siblings and I, all had the best experience possible.

I am in outpatient PT/Rehab at Legacy Villages in Taylorsville and I cannot say enough wonderful things about it! I had no idea it even existed, let alone had a place to rehab after not one knee revision, but both. I work with Lisa and can honestly say, she is the best I have ever worked with. That is saying a lot due to my extensive history of PT. She is so knowledgeable, calming, funny and genuinely cares. She consistently goes above and beyond to help her patients and keep them optimistic while adjusting to individualized needs. She shares in my victories and is there to build me up if I have a bad day. Her working therapy knowledge is extensive and she utilizes it well. I am traveling across the valley to go here so I strongly encourage others to do so. I have to give a special shout out to Tim, who has worked with me as well, he is fantastic. That is the sign of a good facility, hands on work and individual attention with manual therapy. If I ever need rehab again after these 2 years are done, I will come here. The knowledge and talent is off the scales. Thank you to Legacy. Lisa is helping me, quite literally get my life back. Please go out here, it is so fantastic.

Legacy Village is the best place to have a love one. My wife stayed there for 5 weeks and they saved her life after she had a bad experience with a hip replacement surgery everyone is top notch from when you come in the door to the nurses or support staff loving and excellent care.

I am super impressed with Legacy Village. I looked into placing my dad here for physical therapy. I met Lynda at the front desk who was super nice and helpful and gave me a tour. Kathryn who is the Admissions Director was very kind and helpful and took the time to meet with me even though she was overwhelmed. She was also quick to respond to text messages later that day. And I met Matt in therapy who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I so wish my dad could have seen what I saw. Unfortunately He decided to stay at another facility that he’d told me earlier in the day he couldn’t bear to be there. I’d highly recommend at least looking at Legacy Village if in need. Seems to be a great staff and a beautiful faculty!

I am so glad I came here to complete my skilled nursing care needs. After suffering from complications of a knee replacement, my needs included wound care, IV infusions and physical/occupational therapy. I cannot say enough about the great quality care! I was treated with kindness and dignity. In 4 weeks I accomplished so much in my mobility with the superior physical and occupational therapy. The gym is spacious and there is great equipment. I was absolutely blessed to be here! I am prepared to go home with a good level of independence and to continue mobility needs on an outpatient basis. I would recommend this facility to anyone willing to work hard and being committed to the fabulous resources here.

Recently I had need of rehabilitation following a short hospital visit at IMC. Fortunately for me, the facility that was highly recommended and also had a bed was Legacy Village Rehabilitation in Taylorsville. I arrived not knowing what to expect and feeling at their mercy. That was three weeks ago and I will be going home in a few days. I do not have one negative word to say about Legacy and way too many positive ones! Without exception, the staff is competent, friendly and available. The primary reason for being at a rehab faciltiy is, obviously, the therapy, and it is first rate. I felt that the therapists I had really cared about my progress and had the knowledge and skill to help me reach my goals. But there is a lot more to the experience, particularly when you are feeling unsure and vulnerable. The staff at Legacy treats each other with a friendly, respectful attitude, with no feeling of heirarchy and that friendly feeling permeates the place. I always felt respected and, in spite of the undignified care needed, I always felt treated with dignity. The facility itself is beautiful, the rooms are very nice and the gym is well equiped and pleasant. Meals are qood quality. There is always something going on. I didn"t participate much in those activities, but it always seemed fun. All in all, I cannot recommend Legacy Rehab In Taylorsville highly enough. I have also observed how they treat residents in the adjacent memory care facility. I have great admiration for their patience and for the respect and care they provide. That is obviously the culture created, cultivated and delivered by Legacy. OK, I have to stop!

My father was in this rehab center. We were told that he would have the care he needed to get well enough to return home. We were told that he would be given an alert device to monitor where he was at, or if he was in distress. We were told that the food was good. None of these things were true. I had to go every day and hunt down someone to help clean his area. The food was awful (see photo.) He was never given any monitoring device. In short, it was not what was promised. Dave, the PT, was awesome though!

My precious mother is In the Memory Care at Legacy. My sister and I wanted and searched for the perfect place for her and we found it. They have been absolutely wonderful to work with. They have a warm and welcoming staff that truly take the time to listen. They are always interacting and giving lots of hugs and love to all of the residents. Legacy has two activities per day that bring them lots of smiles and fun. Those in charge of the activities are great! The rooms are the perfect size and the decor at Legacy is beautiful. We really liked that there are only 13 residents in each Cottage. They aren't just part of a huge group of people that get looked over or forgotten. Even with their declining memories they seem to know each other and look for that same familiar face. The greatest thing about Legacy Memory is that I know my sweet mom gets the very best of care. It broke my heart to think that anyone could possibly take care of her as well as we did...however, the love she feels there, warms my heart and I can sleep at night knowing she is in good hands...surrounded by people that love her. I give Legacy Memory Care my highest recommendation. It is the Best of the Best.
