Our family was in need of emergent respite care for my grandmother in March and we were so blessed to find Rittenhouse Village-Pittsford! From the first phone call with Emily, I could tell that this memory care home was just what we were looking for and needed given my grandmothers needs. Emily was and has been absolutely AMAZING to work with during this trying time and transition for my family and grandmother. She worked with us answering all our questions and taking time to learn my grandmother’s needs and our desires for her care there. My grandmother has transitioned very well to this new environment and I know it is because of the staff members caring ways, especially Tashara, that she is doing so well. The resident centered approach is like no other and she is truly thriving in the warm, caring, safe and home like environment that they provide at Rittenhouse Village! One of the best things is truly the consistent communication we have with them regarding my grandmother and how she is doing! Having a loved one with dementia is a journey that truly affects the whole family and we are at peace knowing that she is being well cared for and is HAPPY on a day-to-day basis at Rittenhouse Village. We are so thankful for Emily and the entire staff there and would highly recommend Rittenhouse Village to those needing this type of care for their loved ones.

Each time I visit Rittenhouse Pittsford I am more and more impressed! Their activities are great and super fun. The Activities Director Kim as great energy and does a wonderful job keeping the residents engaged. The food is excellent and I look forward to eating there whenever I visit. Rittenhouse has given me the peace of mind I needed when finding the right home for my loved one. The staff is friendly and caring. Any concerns I may have are addressed in a timely manner with compassion. My family member enjoys the activities and bonds they are building with both the staff and others living there. My family member is happy with the meals they receive, it feels homemade which is what we had hoped for. Finding a place that allows my family comfort and peace of mind at times when we can’t be there is what’s most operant to us. Rittenhouse has exceeded our expectations.

Brookdale Pittsford is a lovely, caring memory care home for my precious father, full of enthusiastic and loving staff who go out of their way to take care of my dad with his Alzheimer’s. I am so thankful for the wonderful care he receives, the many activities including music therapy, pet therapy, and daily exercise. Thank you to the kind and loving staff for the caring, highly skilled care my father receives.

Moved Mom to Brookdale in early 2024. We toured several facilities, but this one felt more "homey" than the others. All the staff we spoke with seemed to identify with Mom's situation and understood what we felt she needed. There have been some recent upgrades to the facility and it's looking very good. Staff are ready & willing to answer questions and concerns, and act on things we ask them to give more attention to. All the staff that interact with Mom are kind and considerate. The biggest thing is that Mom, herself, always says how much she likes her caretakers and that's definitely the most important thing to us.

I moved my mom into Brookdale in October of 2023. There have been some ups and downs, but now that my mom has a routine (the staff has been amazing at helping to keep her day regularly scheduled) she feels comfortable. I love that my mom takes part in the activities and the activity director makes her feel important. Whenever I have a concern, the staff immediately takes care of the issue, which gives me peace of mind.

Our Uncle moved in in January 2024. We have been thankful for the staffs willingness to help care for him as he adjusted. They have been great in offering activities to help stimulate his handy and mechanical nature. They also have been great with communication as well.

The staff are just wonderful and very caring to the residents.... Brookdale Assisted Living is one of the BEST PLACES for someone who is suffering with Alzheimer's disease. Staff displays good care & concern for each resident.

My mother moved into Brookdale in January 2024 and is doing great. My sister and I toured many places after her stroke. We met with Greg, walked outside and both said "yes" to each other. Walked back in and signed her up and are very glad we did. My mother comments on how friendly everyone is. I was impressed how quickly everyone knew her name. She was at her previous facility for six months and nobody knew who she was. They encourage my Mom to participate in the activities. They make sure she is eating, taking her medicine and assist her with all of her needs. I would definitely recommend Brookdale. It is giving me the piece of mind I definitely did not have before.

This place has been amazing! Mr Brooks and his staff have worked hard to communicate to family and to help my mom to thrive. She is always laughing, giggling, telling jokes and talking to her many friends. This place is ideal for memory care as it allows people to function, make decisions and be treated with respect. There are many activities to keep them engaged and the aids are ver caring. This is a defiantly family friendly atmosphere. Food is exceptional and the nursing staff is quite patient and kind. We will always love our Brookdale family. It is not just a memory care center but it is a beautiful home.
