When we started looking for a Memory Care place for my Mom we were overwhelmed by all of the choices. Very luckily, a neighbor recommended Autumn Leaves in Orland Park and we couldn't be more pleased. The home is nice, open and airy and flooded with sunshine and plenty of outdoor space for the guests to enjoy. My Mom has always been a picky eater and loves the food prepared by Chef Gina. Most important to us are the kind, caring, compassionate and super responsive staff! They are world-class and we are so grateful. By the way three of the staff members are named Peace, Joy and Rae (of sunshine) which is very telling. Thank you Autumn Leaves!

No one knows better than our family, how hard it is when it comes time to choose a new home for your loved one as they progress with Alzheimer's. But I'm writing this review to express that my family will forever be grateful for the exceptional care that our father received at Autumn Leaves of Orland Park. They made my father feel like this community was his home and we were treated like family. The wonderful caregivers, the nurses, management, cooks and even the custodial members of this community were so kind, caring and loving to my father and our family. I interviewed so many places before I found Autumn Leaves, and at first, it seemed too good to be true, that we had found a place where the staff genuinely cares about its residents and treats them with kindness, patience and compassion. But we certainly had found that place! Autumn Leaves has such a dedicated team; all hands on deck from every single worker! I never saw a staff member on their cell phone while working; they all make sure that the residences eat their meals, get plenty to drink and give them the help that is needed throughout the day. My father's laundry was always done in a timely manner, his room was always kept clean, and his bed made every day. I had a stereo in my father's room, and the caregivers made sure his Frank Sinatra music was turned on every single morning for him without fail while they would get him ready for his day. His medications were always distributed on time by the professional 24 hour nursing staff as well. And during the night, the staff would check on him multiple times. If you're looking for a wonderful place for your loved one, look no further than Autumn Leaves. Our family was blessed to have our father here!

Charter has made some drastic improvements, from decor , food , nursing and care givers . Management are easy to talk to if you have and issue with your loved one . My husband has been at charter in orland for 10 months and I feel he is well taken care of in a clean and caring environment.

So far it is wonderful! My aunt was at another place and boy do I see a difference. It is smaller and the workers engage with the seniors! They don’t just give you a schedule saying they are doing activities with the seniors, but REALLY are doing the activities. The seniors aren’t housed there but enjoying themselves. I’m so glad I went passed the place and decided to check it out. Please don’t ever be deceived by big beautiful places, it is the care that counts and happy employees.

This is my 3rd visit to charter senior living of Orland Park, and for a fact this is the best I have seen since the community became Charter. There were revolving doors in the management team and staffing, the company couldn't keep anyone, but now what a great difference. Firstly I will start with the clinical department, as a friend of a family that had their mom in there before she was moved out, I saw nothing good, there were no nurses, caregivers, and no clinical director to make the department function, the residents were all in bad shape and I remembered the day my friends moved their mom out, the current clinical director was just getting started in her role and she said, I quote " Please be patient with me and give me few months to turn the clinical department around, I am here to make it work and for all the residents well-being and I promise under my leadership the residents will be cared for properly" How I wish myself and friends had listened. Charter senior living cooperation should be grateful for having such a clinical leader. Secondly, the food is amazing, and the building is clean. Lastly this is the only community that is fully staffed with positive people without the use of agencies. Staff are friendly, the residents are happy. I will recommend this community to anyone looking for a placement for their loved one's to call home.

I was looking for a place to relocate a close friend, who is widowed and has no children. His dementia has been progressing and I was looking to re-locate him to a more comforting, caring, and convenient place, compared to the sterile, institutionalized place he had been living in. I visited Charter after seeing a presentation that Cary Finucane had done at my church and decided to check them out. I was thrilled at what I found. It was very clean, warm, and had a homey feeling. As I toured Charter, I couldn't help but feel that this was a place that went above and beyond. Several times that I stopped by as my friend was being evaluated, I saw several groups being cared for with games and activities. Pam Berezin, the Director did an outstanding job of caring for my concerns and my friends needs. The staff was wonderful and caring. I would recommend Charter Orland Park as a wonderful place to care for your loved one. I was very pleased with the care, the attention, the meals, the cleanliness and especially the caring staff. Thank you for going above and beyond in all that you do.

As of right now Im searching different ALs and Memory Care facilities for one of my parents. Charter Senior Living is one of the facilities I contacted. I spoke to Alyson for over an hour. She answered every question I had concerning services and care. She was not only professional but was very compassionate to my concerns. I had a virtual tour with Alyson and the facility is beautiful. It is tailored for every residents needs. Even though I have not met Alyson personally or the staff at Charter Senior Living, I felt like I was already part of there family.
