If anyone has the misfortune of having to deal with a loved one with Parkinson's Disease this place can provide your loved one the care they deserve. Fox trail was recommended to me by a Social Worker named Blossom at CareOne in Cresskill after my father spent a stint there due to his disease. This place has been a godsend. They provided excellent service through a staff that are caring compassionate and provide overall excellent care. They took care of all his needs including meals, feeding, and bathing, and they do it with such grace. I finally was able to relax and know that he was ok. All I had to do is spend time with him after he was there. He was a decorated Korean War veteran and at 91 years of age they showed him the respect that he deserved as he reached the end of his life. He lived a long and productive life and raised three children with the utmost respect and much love. Thank you Nicola and all the wonderful staff at Fox Trail Memory Care. I must modify this review based on the difficulty I've experienced with the administration of this facility. Despite numerous attempts to reach someone to provide me with an accurate final bill, I have yet to receive anything from them except an incorrect bill with spelling errors. After my father passed away in the facility I asked for a final bill so that I can finish with handling my father's estate and finally put his memory to rest. After numerous attempts to reach someone I realized that they took $8500 more than they were entitled to from our account. They charged us through January even though he died on 12/21/23. I called the person I was told to speak to, her name I was told was Debra. I had called this person on 10/1, again on numerous occasions after not hearing from her. Again I called after he died, again no call back. I stopped payment on the transfer of funds and then she finally called me. I again asked her for the final bill and she sent it with the credit for the extra charges, only to add them back as new charges and billing us for same amount I had stopped. I have called her numerous more times and to date I haven't gotten a response. To date I still owe the money but refuse to pay until I get a corrected final bill. I don't know of any business that operates this way. You would expect that they would be chasing me for what they are owed, instead I have to chase them. I think it's a shame that this person can change my experience with this facility from one of complete satisfaction to what I would describe as a nightmare. What I said of the facility is true, the workers there were wonderful but the administration is absolutely incompetent. I finally got a call back from Barbara Putnam, CEO of the company after I sent an email complaining about the situation and she handled it immediately. Thank you Barbara.

I recently put my Mom in Fox Trail Memory Care Living in Cresskill. I needed a lil respite time. I met with Bridget Carroll and went over some of my concerns. My biggest being the fact that my mom always said she never wished to be in a nursing home. Bridget took me on a tour of Fox Trail and it had that homey feeling that I wanted for my mom. Bridget was helpful with the paperwork and returned all my calls. She made the process easy. Nicola and her staff at the home in Cresskill are AWESOME! I received updates on my mom and some pictures even a video of her in dance party. It was nice to know she was having as mush fun as I was. She had a few visits from friends who told me she was having a great time and was enjoying herself, she made friends and was interacting. She has definitely gotten more social since being there. It's nice to know that next time I need a break I know exactly where to go. Thank you FoxTrail

We placed my mom there 3 weeks ago. I was so upset and sad placing her in a facility. Nicola and her staff made my mom feel loved and extremely comfortable. My mom is adjusting well and so am I because of the love and attention they are giving her. I call Nicola and her staff angels. These are special and trained professional people.

Unfortunately this is the last review I will be posting of Fox Trail in Cresskill, N.J. We were looking for the right place to put my father and when we saw the home like environment and met the staff we were convinced that it was the right place. My father recently died, but was so well taken care of and loved at the end of his life by specifically the house manager, Nicola and her staff. I really couldnt ask for anything more and I felt comforted that his last days were comfortable and calmIf you have a loved one who needs special care you should consider this facility. Its cozy and home like. Doesnt feel institutional at all. They make all the food in the on site kitchen and eat family style.A special shout out to Nicola who was patient with our demanding extended family. Sally Bortz

For the past 4 years Fox Trail at Cresskill has provided my loved one with a level of care that is truly outstanding. At no time has this been more apparent than during our current pandemic. In spite of countless challenges, Nicola, the House Manager, and her dedicated staff, worked selflessly around the clock, totally committed to excellence,, which resulted in keeping all Memory Care residents Covid-19 free, while providing their families with a constant flow of communication via phone, text, and FaceTime. This resulted in allaying any concerns we had about the security and well being of our loved ones.during this most difficult and stressful time. For this, we are eternally grateful.and cannot commend enough this wonderful facility.

My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease 8 years ago. My sisters and I struggled with the idea of placing our mother in a memory care facility until we found Fox Trail! My mothers transition to Cresskill has been wonderful. Nicola Khan, house manager, is fantastic. When I reach out to her, she always response in a timely manner to answers all my questions. It clearly shows how much she cares about the residents. She helps me feel at ease knowing my mother is in a good place. I applaud the caregivers at Cresskill. They are so kind to help with a FaceTime call or an outdoor visitation so I can spend some time with my mom. They are patient and caring people. I appreciate everyone at Fox Trail in Cresskill! I know my mother is in very good hands.

Three years ago, I was appointed guardian of a close friend, Peggy, who was diagnosed with dementia. Realizing she needed specialized care, I visited numerous assisted living facilities offering this. I finally settled on Fox Trail Memory Care In Cresskill, N.J. It has turned out to be the best decision I could have made. All I was promised has been delivered. There are so many pluses I need to mention. It has a totally dedicated staff who treat all the residents with loving care.and dignity. Nicole, the manager, opened and has directed it for over16 years, and the bulk of her staff have also been there as long. Everything is done to make it as familial as possible, with total attention paid to each residents specific needs. I was impressed by the wholistic approach to healthcare they provide with constant monitoring by physicians, dentists, podiatrists, psychologists and physical therapists The food is well prepared and nutritionally balanced. All kinds of activities are offered, which are designed to address the needs of memory challenged individuals. It is decorated nicely, offering a very cheerful environment that is alway very clean and well maintained. Outside, it looks like a large Colonial house surrounded by a white picket fence. It has a very welcoming front porch, large rear patio and safe pathways for walking. Families are always encouraged to visit, and invited to special events such as birthday and holiday parties throughout the year. Considering all it provides, I feel its quite reasonably priced in comparison to many other facilities of its type witch I checked out. All in all, I ‘m very happy I chose Fox Trail Memory Care at Cresskill to care for my dear friend, Peggy. It is an excellent facility, that I am truly thankful for, and more then happy to recommend to anyone seeking an outstanding memory care facility for their loved one.
