Bridges are usually good but this is the worse out of the worst!!!! Nursing is horrible from top down. The ED is so arrogant and condescending while you’re trying to talk to him. Never send anyone here!!!!

Epoch Bridges of Mashpee is a wonderful memory care assisted community. In my professional role I have worked with staff and residents in many Alf's . This is truly one of the best. Staff are professional and kind. I have particularly had very positive dealings with Julie Dalton!! She is the best!

It has been a honor, as an outside healthcare provider, to work alongside and witness the Bridges of Mashpee staff as an outstanding community partner where their residents have the ability to age in place with dignity, respect and grace. Their staff is extraordinary in the high level of care and compassion that they offer their residents. Residents are often found engaged in a full range of activities if not socializing with others. Each "neighborhood" feels like home and always greeted with many welcoming and smiling faces. I would highly recommend Bridges for your loved ones with memory impairment as the team and community is exceptional!

My mom has been a resident at Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee since February 2021. I can't say enough about the wonderful care she receives. The transition was not easy for mommy and as her dementia and vision loss continue to progress, each day can be different. Dementia is a cruel disease and it's not only a difficult journey for your loved one but also for the family. Bridges has always made me feel part of their family from the very beginning and I have made wonderful friends along the way. To see the love given to mommy from the aides, nurses, and every staff member, is so heartwarming and knowing she is safe and being taken care of is a tremendous relief. I would highly recommend Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee!

Bridges in Mashpee ALF is top notch and provides the best care to its residents. The facility is warm and welcoming and truly a place each resident can call home. The staff is phenomenal and treat each resident with respect and as if they are family. Being in the healthcare business I have been in most ALFs on the Cape and Bridges is one of the best and somewhere I would want my family member to live. The staff and services at Bridges make it one of the best places to fully age in place.

My family and I were having a tough time keeping our mother safe at home with Alzheimer's. Seveal people recommended Bridges by EPOCH in Mashpee. I looked at several facilities for memory care and this one seems to be the best fit for our mom. She's been there 7 weeks and is happier than I have seen in a long, long time. The anxiety of living in a big house alone is gone and the staff (24 nurse on site is a huge plus) are all great and truly seem to love my mom. Highly recommend.

My husband (94) was moved to Bridges in Mashpee in May 2002 from Florida where we lived in the winter. I could no longer take care of him as his dementia and physical need became too much for me. We looked at many facilities and found that Bridges met our needs. When he arrived he was confined to a wheel chair and within months was using a walker. We attribute this to physical therapy and the attentiveness of aides, in particular Tony Ann and Earl who always encourage him to use the walker and look after him in a kind and loving way. He is content, loves the food, the environment and the activities and entertainment organized by Pat L and Jennine B. I visit him frequently and always find him well attended to. Selma, wife of Bob

Staff is like extended family, treat residents with kindness and compassion. Dad liked the food and appreciated being given a choice of meals. He loved activity time, especially exercises and the subsequent trivia games. No complaints from our family.

My wife, Carol, entered Bridges at Mashpee in August of 2020. That was right in the middle of COVID. In fact I looked at COVID results when choosing an Assisted Living. My wife had an advanced case of shadowing. She needed me to be in the same room with her. I was very concerned how she would respond to life in an assisted living. I visited every other day and realized she was so busy with activities that she settled in. I learned, as time went on, that I learned that Pat Laferriere was responsible for the programs. Now two and a half years later I know that activity programming was a key piece of success in Carol's successful stay. Pat also was my source of answers for questions that began with "Why can't ...". Like why can't Carol have a plant. (people eat them). Thanks to the crew at Bridges Mashpee for what they've done for Carol.

I highly recommend Bridges by Epoch in Mashpee. Their caregivers are exceptional and the facility is clean, organized and truly a home. The leadership of Edmund Tucker is evident in the camaraderie of the staff, the organization of the tasks and the consistency of the care. His regular communication to family members reflects high accountability and an open-door policy. My parents are recipients of their care, compassion and empathy. Bridges by Epoch, Mashpee, is a beautiful place to entrust with the care of your loved ones.

I recently had a home healthcare client who moved into Bridges by EPOCH. What started off to be a difficult transition actually turned out to be a perfect fit. On my first visit she was playing scrabble with another resident who she called "her friend". Thanks to Julie, Lindsey and all the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to make Bridges a top notch environment.

Yesterday we moved my mother to Bridges in Mashpee. For the past couple months I have been in contact with their senior advisor Julie Dalton. She has been most helpful during this process, from the initial call and tour to another visit with my mother and to the move in yesterday. She has always returned a call or email and made my mother feel welcome and me feel less anxious about the move. She is knowledgeable and intuitive and an asset to Bridges. I would also mention other staff from Margo and Mimi on the desk to Tim who was helpful during the room set up. All were also helpful and able to answer my questions. Kirk in Woods Hole listens and and is upbeat with the residents. I am just getting to know the neighborhood staff but feel comfortable leaving her this first day. Thanks to all who care for our loved ones. Shirley K

5 STARS is not enough. Our mother was at BRIDGES BY EPOCH in Mashpee for 13 months until she passed away October 25,2022 one week shy of her 100th birthday. Not sure how to begin because its hard to find the words to descibe our 13 month journey with dementia and our experience at Bridges with our mother. The biggest THANK YOU to the entire staff and I mean EVERYONE we encountered doesn't seem to be enough. We will be forever grateful to everyone who was part of her caregiving in the Poppy residence. Everyone treated her and us as family. The care and love everyone showed her was beyond what we could ever imagine. We always felt comfortable leaving after our visits knowing she was being well cared for. Bridges by Epoch should be considered as a model for what should exist in specialized alzheimer's and dementia care. In our opinion they have thought of everything needed to make the resident feel at home, lots of activities and entertainment (if they choose to participate), full time nursing staff and let's not forget the gourmet meals they serve. We truly are missing our mother and all the residents we have gotten to know and plan on continuing our visits in the near future. Rick and Marianna Olsen

I recently had a client transition from home to Bridges. She adamantly did not want to leave her home. With the assistance and support of Lindsey and Julie on that first day they made her feel welcome and at home. They provided a wonderful lunch with a fellow resident, visited in the courtyard, and asked her where she would like to travel. Spain was her answer, so her first group was to watch a travel video of Spain, play trivia and have a Spanish snack made by a superb chef that cooks the meals. I hope can go there some day!

Bridges has been THE BEST! We moved my mom in just 5 weeks ago! We had called and looked at so many places. We were so scared to place our mom somewhere, after her memory was really failing lately and we knew we needed a secure facility. After her living with me for the past several months, I knew it was time.. The staff was so understanding to everything we were feeling. They answered any questions we had and made the transition so incredibly smooth! Within 1 week our mom was calling it home. She has friends and keeps so busy with the activities they plan all day! She is so happy, she tells me every day I visit how much she LOVES everyone that works there, that they are "A1" a term my mom uses when she loves someone or something! It's such an emotional time when this decision has to be made, so I'm so grateful to know my mom is happy an well taken care of! Kirk is one of the aides that cares for my mom! He is the most caring person I could ever ask for, he goes above and beyond for all the residents! Treats them as if they were family!

5 STARS!! Wish I could give more!! Bridges has been a wonderful experience for my Mom and for all of us (her family). Here is our story....After a hospital stay my Mom went to a typical nursing home (not Bridges) for rehab. She was there for about 1 month. During that time she continued to decline. She would not eat and I thought we were going to lose her. Soon her rehab stay at that nursing home was over and we had to move her. Thankfully I had toured Bridges a month prior and reached out to them again. Before we signed her up at Bridges I was very concerned if a memory care could meet all of her other needs. For example. My Mom is incontinent and needs assistance with the bathroom. She needs help cleaning and dressing herself. She also uses a walker and early on she was in a wheelchair. Bridges reassured me they could take care of ALL her needs. I prayed hard that this would work and really be true. Im am beyond blessed and happy to report that they have met all of her needs and so much more! The staff at Bridges are wonderful, patient and professional. The aids keep her personal needs taken care of with dignity. The activities staff keeps all the residents engaged. They encourage all of them to be in the common areas not alone in their rooms. . They warmly welcome family and friends to visit, dine and join in on activities with their loved one. The dining staff is accommodating to the residents and their guests. Everyone seems to love their job!! My Mom is doing better now than before her hospital stay. She has gained the weight back she lost prior. Shes alert and engaged! No more wheelchair. Overall she is much happier and more content and most importantly not afraid and depressed like she was at the other nursing home. All nursing homes should take note on how Bridges has this success. I feel blessed and very fortunate that we found this assisted living for her. If you are reading this and are looking for care for your loved one, I encourage you to tour Bridges and tour other facilities like I did and see for yourself. If the staff is reading this, thank you, so much from the bottom of my heart for all that you do for my Mom and for my familys peace of mind.

My grandmother lives here and receives wonderful care. I find the staff to be friendly, caring, and attentive. Grams room in big enough to accommodate her needs and the communal spaces for socializing and dining are always clean. The patio and garden out back make her feel like shes back at her own house and are beautiful. It is a huge relief to know that she is so well cared for. We appreciate the safety measures taken to ensure residents cannot get lost or leave the property on their own. We even stay for lunch from time to time and have been impressed with the quality of the food, which is much better than her previous assisted living situation.
