After an "accident" at another facility, my wife, Mary, was moved Arden Courts of Allentown. The move exceeded all my expectations! The facility is exceptionally clean. Angela and Denise are quick to respond to all concerns. Each member of the staff is so helpful and caring. It is so unusual to find such a high concentration of capable and caring staff members. Joanie and Madeline are like sisters to Mary, foreseeing all her needs and providing excellent personal care. Mary is encouraged to participate in the many activities. There are also activities where the families of residence are encouraged to participate. My daughter and I visited at least 10 other facilities while Mary was in the hospital. Making the decision to move to Arden courts of Allentown was easy!

Words cannot express my thanks to the management and staff at Arden Court . My husband had been in two previous memory units with unacceptable results One worse than the other. When told by his last unit we had to place Lou into skilled nursing as we would be unable to find a memory unit who would accept him we heard of Arden Court and thank God for that ! They came.evaluated him and accepted him I wish he had been with them from the beginning It was truly like a family,very loving ,attentive and caring Special thanks to Nurse Victoria,administrative staff,Susan and Crystal and all the others whose names I cannot remember, who were also loving and caring God bless this place I love you all for taking such good care of my husband Maryann Lucchetti

If you are looking for an Alzheimer's Memory Care facility that puts residents and their families first, then your only option should be Arden Courts of Allentown! After touring 3 other facilities, it only took our family 5 minutes to know that this was the place for Dad!! Beautiful facility with a knowledgeable and caring staff!! Dad was moved in before a week's time!! One of our concerns was seeing our Dad just "sit" around. Not at Arden Courts...they have plenty of activities for the residents to get engaged in and a staff that makes your loved one feel very special. Kudos to Tai, Angela, Victoria, Susan, Denise, and the many others behind the scenes that have made this transition for our family as painless as can be. It certainly has helped us to better cope with everything knowing that Dad is in such great hands!!

My mother spent her final 6 months at Arden Courts in Allentown. The care staff, nursing staff and administration was nothing short of phenomenal. There was love, support & dignity displayed the entire time. Having direct experience with other "memory care" facilities in the Lehigh Valley, I can say with certainty that Arden Courts of Allentown is by far the best. Thank you for a great experience during an unfortunate time.

I was hired by Arden Courts to draw caricatures for a staff appreciation celebration. The staff were a pleasure to draw and speak with. They were so accommodating to their patients and extremely well organized. I would work with them again in a heartbeat!

My dad has dementia. One of the hardest decisions we found ourselves facing was placing him in a memory care facility. With the encouragement of the Arden Court's Dementia Support Group held at the Active Senior Life Center in Allentown, we realized we needed to have a Plan B as we watched my dad rapidly decline over 6 months. From his stubbornness, obstinance and resistance (SOR syndrome as defined by my mom) to managing his activities of daily living; along with safety issues surrounding their home; we, as a family, decided it was time. We began our search looking at facilities in the area. We were drawn to Arden Court partly due to the support group as well as our impression of the staff as we toured the facility. We appreciate the layout of the "houses"; the central walkway which includes a health center, activities center as well as different themed alcoves where families would be able to visit together and a beautiful outdoors courtyard for residents to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Our transition to a memory care facility has been difficult for all of us; however, the staff at AC have been supportive and helpful as we navigate this new "norm".

My dad was beginning to wonder with his Alzheimer's and we had to make the tough choice to find a safe place for him. This place offered him space to endlessly wonder inside and outside. We go daily to visit, my father is dressed and moving early. He's free to do whatever he wants in a safe environment. We love all the staff, they go over and beyond to make my family comfortable including letting me in each time they see me struggle with the key pad entry, another safety feature! This is a gem of a place that I never knew existed. Thank you so much for creating a safe haven for my father to enjoy his life again. The Pulli family

I want to tell anyone who is searching for a Memory Facility for a friend or family member that Arden Courts is well worth the look. My daughters and I were looking for a place for their father and we were just astonished at all that Arden Courts has to offer. Besides being a lovely place the care taken to make sure that my husband is well cared for and safe is just wonderful. It is 24/7 which means that you can visit at any time of the day or night. The courtyard is just what the doctor ordered. Residents can go out at any time during the day (weather permitting) to enjoy the weather. There is a complete walking path around the facility with tables and chairs so all friends and family can enjoy the outdoors right along with the resident. I am always surprised at the wonderful menus and food offered. So glad we found Arden Courts. They take the worry off of your mind because you know the residents are being treated well and with care. Activities abound all day for all, as well as exercise classes. Thanks Arden Courts.

We recently made the decision, after 4 years of full-time caregiving, to move my dad to Arden Courts. Doing so during Covid added extra concern for me, however the staff spend time answering my many questions, provided a virtual tour, shared a list of families that could offer insight and share their experience, and reviewed their Covid safety plan and procedures.My dad has been living at Arden Courts for 2 months now and, although I have not been able to see him in person, I am able to speak with him as often as I like over video chat. He is upbeat, happy, and has a spark that seemed to be missing before he moved. The daily activities provided give him an opportunity to be socially engaged with others. The staff is aware of his likes and create activities that will be of interest to him. He has the ability to independently move throughout the building, as well as explore the enclosed outside courtyard.The staff has been friendly and responsive to my questions throughout this process. The small setting at Arden Courts has made it so everyone from the front desk staff, the marketing director, the executive director, the head nurse, the activities coordinator, and the maintenance and safety personnel all know who my dad is and are able to share updates at any time.Having Arden Courts as an option eased the worry of making the difficult decision to transitions my dads care. I am grateful that the staff is willing to work so closely with me and that my dad now has a place where he is safely cared for, has regained a feeling of independence, and has a built-in social network. He has a place that feels like home.

The building and living areas are always clean and in well maintained condition. The Staff and Management are a pleasure to deal with. My mother had been to a few facilities as her condition deteriorated. We have been extremely happy with our choice of Arden Courts of Allentown, not just because of the outstanding facility, but because of the skilled, attentive, and caring staff. Previously, she had been unhappy wherever she was. At Arden Courts she is a different person, and the staff has made integration easy for her, and us as well. I strongly recommend this facility to anyone faced with this difficult decision.

My Mom was here for the past 7 months until she passed away. The staff was wonderful. She was always taken care of and clean and had a new change of clothes. I just thank them all so much for providing her with a wonderful experience the last few months of her life.

My grandfather resided at Arden Courts in Allentown a little over 2 years before he recently passed away. My grandmother selected this facility after looking at 5 other places that were in New Jersey and much closer to her (she traveled 45 minutes to get there). She discovered a place where my grandfather could walk everywhere and go outside whenever he wanted into secured walkways and courtyards that had tables and umbrellas where he could sit. There was a community room where something was happening all the time - either someone reading, playing music, various entertainers visiting, etc. The door was always open so a resident could come in and sit or just walk by and hear it all.The caretakers were always cheerful and knew everyone there. Each resident had their own room and bath. A doctor came twice a week, the beauty shop was open every week and the nurses office was usually opened for anyone who wanted to stop in.Arden Courts was the best possible choice for my grandfather!
