The place is staffed with high level of experience with memory care. Elisha offered me a shared apartment which was perfect for my wife. She is very satisfied to be there.The nursing Department. was attentive to a small leg ulcer which healed in three days.Mark,the maintenance mgr. is available whenever needed.The food is good since my wife is easily seated at the table and I can say"good bye"The monthly family meetings are very helpful.Sue Martin offers a great variety of activities which are well attended.The new director,Rodshawnda Marshall is well experienced in the memory field.I feel welcomed, whenever I come to visit by all levels of staff.I would feel comfortable to be a resident at Brookdale,Oro Valley.

Thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Brookdale Oro Valley for taking care of my best friend of 50+ years. She was like a sister, fun and understanding, and we loved to laugh together. But then her life took a different turn and the wonderful staff helped her in her transition. Brookdale at Oro Valley made sure that all the Covid protocols were followed so that the residents were safe. Whenever I visited I saw that the residents were in a warm safe home, being taken care of with the gentlest of all care. Thank you, Michelle, for your big hugs and understanding ways.

As POA for my step mother, I was challenged when I had to move my step mother from the home my father died in. She has mild Alzheimer’s and was doing well but I wanted her closer and safer. Thousands of dollars and 2 months after the move into a Luxury Senior Center, I was again faced with having to move her to a slightly higher level of care. Because she had been treated with such lack of privacy and indignity, I was cautious and concerned. After Touring a number of locations with dedicated Memory Care, I choose Brookdale in Oro Valley. Clean, bright, spacious and caring and thoughtful staff. Michelle, the Director, sealed the deal. She is engaging, kind, thoughtful, giving, helpful and a strong communicator.She loves feedback and is never too busy to help in some way. Every single staff member proves to me that I made the right decision. I know my step Mom is safe, cared for and best of all my step mom tells me thank you for moving her there. She’s a high functioning Alzheimer’s patient, reserved and smart as a whip. She is thriving under the care of the staff and in the safe home environment. I never worry about her, EVER. Thank you to everyone at Brookdale OV.

My mother has been at Brookdale Oro Valley for two years. The care she receives has been exceptional. The facility is smaller and we feel the associates are able to give her more individual attention. The staff and administration are outstanding.

My wife has early-onset Alzheimers. I took care of her at home for 4 years, but I could not provide the critical social interactions she needed. So, I, too, looked at several memory care communities in Tucson, starting with and ending at Brookdale Oro Valley. She has been part of the Brookdale community for a year, moving just prior to covid shut downs in March, 2020. Brookdale is a great match--it is a smaller community with up to 32 residents, so the scale of Brookdale is just right: it is an intimate setting to allows caregivers and directors to be knowledgable about my wife and her specific condition: they know her well and have created a supportive, loving environment around her. They monitor her health and adjust to her changing condition. During CV, they implemented safety protocols that protected residents and staff alike. The directors, including the executive director, gave me their cell phone numbers with an invitation to call anytime. They are responsive and honest in answering my questions. For a challenging situation, both for my wife and for me, they have exceeded my expectations for the care extended to her. Through their kindness, support, and compassion, I know both my wife and I feel part of the Brookdale Oro Valley community!

The caretakers at Brookdale Oro Valley Memory Care take great care of my father. They spend quality time with my dad and keep his mind engaged. Everyone I have met at Brookdale has been friendly, patient, and caring. This includes the management at Brookdale Oro Valley. Unlike other places, the management here seems to promote an atmosphere of kindness and caring that puts the residents needs first. My dad seems to really like the food here too. I am so glad I found this place for my father.

We were looking for an assisted living memory care facility for my sister. We were given multiple facilities to see in the Tucson and Green Valley area. Brookdale Oro Valley was our 1st and last stop. As soon as we saw the facility we were very impressed with the staff and accommodations. Brookdale has done an exceptional job caring for my sister and all residence during the Covid pandemic.
