Beautiful campus, the Executive Director socialized with everyone (resident) that she came in contact with. The residents seemed to well cared for and happy. I was there for the Executive Chef position and was impressed with the atmosphere in the building.

Do NOT place your loved one at Landon Ridge. If your loved one exhibits signs of decline, they will not notify you. If the signs become notably worse, they will not notify you. If an ambulance has to be called, they will not contact you. If your loved one declines being taken to the hospital against the advise of EMS, they will not contact you. You will not have the opportunity, when given so many of them, to be informed of the situation until it is too late. The protocols at Landon Ridge are significantly flawed and not followed. We scheduled a meeting with "name removed" and the employee who was working the day of the incident to find out what happened. Plenty of details were shared. It was made clear that they willing did not follow state protocols - or their own. They could not provide a reason for dropping the ball, only a sorry. I was able to collect more information from other sources and put together the full timeline. LR even failed disclose the full story. How can this be acceptable? How many other times has this happened? How many more times will this happen? Because of Landon Ridges pure negligence, my family will forever live with questions, anger, and heartbreak. Please look elsewhere. Find somewhere that you can feel confident your loved one is safe, or at the bare minimum, a place that has employees and management with human decency.

Exceptional experience. They definitely went above and beyond. Louis was outstanding, but honestly everyone has been amazing. They had my parents furniture put together that I had delivered there before they got there so it was all ready for them and have been incredibly helpful. Beautiful facility. Highly recommend!!!!

My mother really likes living at Landon Ridge in Sugar Land, TX. She values her independence and likes to be close to family. She has made really good friends, exercises 5 days a week, has very healthy meals, volunteers in the community, plays cards and goes on outings. My friends say, "your mom has a better social life the we do!"" I laugh because it is true! Thanks Landon Ridge!

My family and I visited several independent living communities in the Sugar Land area, and this by far was the best. They are an all-inclusive community so your parents will have everything that they can possibly need. What attracted us was their cottages. Its challenging to downsize, and it helps that their apartments are very spacious. Their director was also very helpful and patient! My parents had a lot of questions and she took the time to answered everything and put us all at ease.

In a time which common sense business practices such as excellent customer service and attention to detail has somehow been substituted for higher cost of goods and services , short cuts and a complete disregard for the customer experience, that is NOT the case at Landon Ridge Sugar Land!! What an amazing staff and team of people who genuinely enjoy creating an experience that you and your family members would truly love and appreciate! My mother moved into Landon Ridge Sugar Land Independent Living in May of 2019 after my father suddenly passed last April of 2019. On a recommendation from our family friend, we visited Landon Ridge knowing that Mom would have to downsize and move into a place where people were readily available to take care of her. The fact that my brother and I lived outside if Texas made it difficult for us to imagine Mom staying in her large home without Dad. After a tour of Landon Ridge, we decided right away to have Mom move in, as she liked a particular apartment, which was previously, a model apartment. Mom is on her 9th month at Landon Ridge, and we are so pleased and grateful for the staffs caring and individualized attention toward Mom -- they have been so accommodating to our family and have been there for Mom when she needed them most. The other residents made Mom feel completely welcome after she first moved in and was rather anxious about being there after such a trauma from Dads sudden heart attack and passing. Mom has made many friends and continues to meet new people and enjoy the social time that they value. The facilities are also top-notch -- the swimming pool is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is ready to fix any problems the apartments may have (if a lightbulb goes out, or if she cant re-set the thermostat, etc.). The meals are well planned and healthy and the food is plentiful and soft for Moms delicate teeth. They also offer storage rental so that Moms things can be close by to her (hers are just the floor below, for example). They also allow rental of a life alert badge which Mom wears around her neck in case of emergencies. I do wish they used recycle-able take-away containers for peoples leftovers at the meals, rather than styrofoam containers, but hopefully, they will be able to switch over soon. They also have daily activities (games, fitness classes, swimming sessions, dance, movies, etc.) that Mom has fun choosing from - its way more than enough to keep her busy. I have joined Mom for meals and some activities while she was just moving in, and everyone is so supportive and encouraging; Mom felt very comfortable right away. We highly recommend Landon Ridge to anyone who cares for their loved ones but lives and works far away as my brother and I do. We know Mom is in good hands, and she is so comfortable there, that we are simply grateful that after our familys loss, Mom can enjoy her golden years in the company of such kind and caring people.

There are so many good things to say about Landon Ridge. The staff are some of the most respectful, polite and caring people I have ever met. (Jayda Washington is GOLDEN!!) The community is kept up very well and there are always activities going on to keep the residents busy. You can tell they take a lot of pride in the community. They are always quick to respond to any concerns our family has. Landon Ridge has been a blessing to my father as well as our family. It is such a relief to know that Dad is being well taken care of. (The level of service that Dad receives, the ease of dealing with staff, and the peace of mind for my brother and I.) We spent a lot of time researching different communities and talking to staff members at various retirement communities and this place is hands down one of the best! If you are looking for a quality assisted living community, look no further. Thank you to all the staff at Landon Ridge for all the great work you do.
