My mom has been at Willow Pond for over two years and we definitely believe it is the best place for her during this last chapter of her life. The staff has made mom feel like part of the family and it has been welcoming to all of us too. Mom was there just about two weeks, when everyone knew her name and what she liked to do. The housekeeper, the dinning staff and front desk staff, all greet her with love and respect. The rest of the residents are just as welcoming. The folks at the Willow Pond Legacy have made a great home for my mother in law for the better part of the last decade. Admin, Dining, Facilities and Community Life departments work together to provide a great experience for her and the outcome is greatly appreciated; both by the resident as well as her family. We want to give a particular shout out to how well the staff navigated the C19 pandemic by protecting and caring for the residents and our loved one during the difficult times. Again, many thanks and much appreciation on the family's behalf. One additional topic to review: I am part of a small group that periodically provides entertainment for the WP Legacy residents during the year. The facility has become our favorite place to play over the past 18 months thanks to the residents as well as Emily and the rest of the Community Life staff and management. Thank you!

My father moved in to Willow Pond about 2 months ago, and we could not be happier with the decision. The move in process was seamless and staff genuinely care about their residents. I have nothing but absolutely amazing things to say about The Legacy at Willow Pond!! Everyone who works there is great especially Emily, Jackie, Emi, Jeff and Daniel!! I got to go on a trip with them to tour Highmark stadium in Buffalo. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!! The facility is always clean and they are always doing awesome themed events. I love going and visiting one of my friends there. I would highly recommend this for anybody who's looking for a place to live in an independent living facility.

At first I was worried about being in a facility due to the fact that I was paralyzed from the knees down in both legs. But my family did not have the living conditions in their homes to facilitate my transition. I met with the Executive Director and Saleslady and was impressed with their package. My parents checked out the facility and were extremely impressed. I arrived on Jan 25th, 2020. I have been extremely happy being part of a community even though my youth (61yrs old) puts me a generation younger than the majority of residents. I have made great new friends and have plenty of activities to take part in. The icing on the cake is the dining services. The food is extraordinarily delicious with plenty of choices for Dinner. Lunches are Cafe Style while Breakfast is a mix of continental and made to order based on the day of the week In retrospect, my life has been forever change due to my injury, but it has grown in so many greater ways because of The Legacy at Willowpond, it's management, staff and especially it's residents. It's a community of Hope Please stop in and say Hi!

We were impressed by the warmth and beauty of Legacy at Willow Pond from the moment we arrived to explore as a place for my Mom to move to. Everyone on the staff, and I mean absolutely everyone, took the time to stop and talk with me along the way. I immediately got the sense that this was a small hometown-feeling place that my mother would love. The incredibly kind and caring leasing representative, Suzy, invited me to bring my husband back to participate in their Monte Carlo special event night. It was the end of a cruise week theme for the community... and Monte Carlo was their last virtual stop. They had gaming professionals manning roulette tables, poker tables, craps tables. Residents and family members laughed side by side with us as we got silly at the roulette table. Eventually, we all sat down and had an extraordinary buffet dinner in their beautiful dining room. We felt like we were in a high-end restaurant! My husband made a point to go talk with the head chef, Daniel, because the food was that good. The activities director, Emily, stopped by and told us great stories. The Executive Director, Jeff, who I met on my first tour, was everywhere on Monte Carlo night... making people feel welcome... egging them on to have fun at the gaming tables... offering leadership filled with warmth. We won some great prizes that night. We made some new friends. And, most importantly, we quickly concluded that this would be an extraordinary place for my mom to call home. She visited a few days later and completely agreed. She is very excited to be moving in soon!

My grandparents love Willow Ponds. When visiting them, we have stayed for dinner and it has been great. The head chef greets us each time and asks for feedback. They have even accommodated special desserts for my young kids. The maintenance staff has always been on point with cleanliness and repairs. Management is always kind and eager to accommodate with whatever we asked for. Can't recommend enough.

The Legacy at Willow Pond is all around deserving of a 5star review! This senior living facility continues to blow my expectations away! Number one, my relative is happy, safe and always telling me how well she is treated! Could I possibly want for anything more? No! The staff puts so much thought and dedication into creating such a warm, loving, and compassionate environment and it shows. You can actually feel the love as you are welcomed in the front doors. My mom has spent many years at the Legacy at Willow Pond in Penfield. We were all worried when she could no longer stay in the family home and had to move to a place like this one. Much to our relief, her new home could not have been better. It would be very easy to list countless reasons why. Starting with the staff their, they all could not be any nicer. Never once did they act anything other than friendly, professional, caring, helpful and truly concerned about my mom or our family. Those who are at the main desk, always wonderful! Jeff the director, always looking out for mom and us, same for Ray, great individuals! And the residents there, always seem happy to be there. The food, well anyone who eats there will always tell you how amazing every meal is. I can honestly say my mom and our family have never had a complaint or issue of any kind ever, which is close to impossible for any facility. A heartfelt thank you from our family to everyone working there, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

My Mom moved to Willow Pond a little over two years ago. From our first visit, we were impressed by the friendly and caring staff. When we were on a tour of the facility, Jeff and Suzy greeted all the residents by name. There are a variety of apartments, and they are all freshly painted with new flooring and appliances. Mom chose an apartment with a fireplace and lots of natural light. With her own furnishings, she has made a beautiful new home for herself. They offer a wide range of activities for residents, including theme weeks, bingo, crafts, exercise, musical entertainment, and outings. They also provide residents transportation to two appointments a month. We were recently invited to join an outing to tour the Buffalo Bills stadium. We were even able to bring two of our children and our grandson. It was a wonderful experience. My husband and I live in Buffalo, so we appreciate the family atmosphere of Willow Pond. When we visit every week we enjoy chatting with both staff and residents. The caring, dedicated staff make Willow Pond a special place.

My life long best friend just moved into the Legacy at Willow Pond two weeks ago and has already met so many wonderful people. I'm so impressed with the cozy atmosphere as you enter the building and the helpfulness from all the directors. Ray the head of the maintenance crew was so helpful when she moved in making sure her apartment was exactly what she wanted. I visited the community for the first time this week for their Apple Spectacular fall kickoff event and it was so much fun! The Apple bowling was a hit we had so much fun on top of all the delicious snacks Daniel and the dining staff put together. The activities are endless and there's a variety of options for anyone. She's been so happy since she moved in and all the management has made this transition so smooth for her and her loved ones. We definitely recommend the legacy at Willow pond! Thank you

Staff is welcoming, friendly, and answers any and all questions thrown at them. The building itself is well maintained, clean, organized and overall very beautiful. Finding a community for a loved one is a very important decision and it is a process that takes time and patience. From my first call to Jeff, Executive Director, and Suzy, Sales Director at Legacy Willow Pond, I felt a sense of ease and comfort. My family member needed a unique community with activities to stay involved with others, a secure building, meals, and an exercise room. My family was invited to tour and we were shown several different options with multiple layouts and even balconies and porches which we loved because of still being able to plant flowers and hang bird feeders. My loved one felt right at home and quickly accepted an invite a couple days later to participate in BINGO and a nice lunch in the beautiful dining room. Jeff, Executive Director and Suzy, Sales Director met us at the foyer and spent more time engaging during lunch and made everyone feel so at home. Since then, my loved one is all moved in and it has been the best move! Activities are fun and engaging. There is a variety of planned things to do inside the community and also outside of the community. Anne, Activities Director does a great job. Meals by Justin and his wait staff are beyond what we ever could ever could have hoped for. There are always such great options and everything tastes so good. A welcoming smile and sincere hello is what you are greeted with. Thank you also to Ray, Maintenance Director for accommodating and taking care of a small request so quickly for my loved one. Housekeepers are so happy and compassionate as well! Kudos to Jeff Kipp for an amazing team of wonderful people. They definitely know how to have such a well rounded community! I would recommend Willow Pond to anyone that is researching and exploring options.

Since 2015, I have lived at the Legacy at Willow Pond. I came so that my husband could have activities and socialization. He is disabled. In 2016 he went into a nursing home. I decided to stay, because of the friendly residents and wonderful staff. Also, our chef makes delicious food.

I had to get on and write a review about my experience today at the Legacy at Willow Pond. I am looking for a place for my mom to transition to after leaving a hospital visit. I met with Anne (who I think was filling in for tours etc) She could not have been more accomodating and helpful right down to she can come today and borrow our furniture until you can get moved on your own. I cannot thank her enough for a piece of mind in a very stressful transition period for my mom. This only tell me that this facility will be the perfect place for mom. We will definietely be moving her in here soon
