From the moment we began exploring Maple Downs, the entire team made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable and even hopeful. Everyone we've encountered has been genuinely welcoming and supportive. The facilities and grounds are lovely, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed and maintained. A special thank you to John, who has gone above and beyond at every turn, and to Gabrielle, whose professionalism and attentiveness made coordinating the logistics from a distance possible. Their responsiveness and care made all the difference. I feel confident my loved ones are in good hands at Maple Downs, and am grateful to have found such a caring and supportive community.

With our parents, Our family recently toured several senior living communities in the Fayetteville area. Once we saw Maple Downs and met John, one of the managers, we knew this was the perfect place for our parents to choose as their new community. John was very informative and positive. He spent a lot of time talking with all of us and met with our parents several times to answer their questions. Maple Downs is a very welcoming and active community. We highly recommend speaking with John if you have any questions about the senior living community.

I dropped by Maple Downs one day, spur of the moment, to see what it was like, hoping to check out a nice place for my dad and stepmom. After speaking with a very nice receptionist , she introduced me to John Disque and we were off on an informative tour of the very nice facilities of Maple Downs ! John was very courteous and helpful. He showed me rooms that were available and we toured all the community rooms, we talked about what was included with living at Maple Downs and also the financial aspect of living at Maple Downs. Maple Downs is a wonderful facility, everyone working there greets you with a smile and you feel welcome. My dad and stepmom did move into Maple Downs and are very happy there. Thank you John for all your help and attention before and after the move !

After searching many places in the Syracuse area, mom and our family choose Maple Downs with no regrets! The move was less than a month ago and it feels like home already. John has been warm and welcoming, answering all of our questions and making the move-in process very easy. The two things that impressed us (among many) were the offer for lunch on our first visit and meeting one of the ambassadors who could honestly answer any questions that we had. Since moving in, Maple Downs has lived up to our expectations. The apartment is very comfortable, the building is well-maintained and clean, and the food is plentiful! The activities are enough to keep busy if desired. Most importantly, Mom has found many other residents to socialize with and has made a number of connections. She and her table mates are usually the last to leave the dining room! We are hoping for many years in this new home!

I found Maple Downs through A Place for Mom. A family member was displaced due to an apartment fire and was suddenly without a home. Fortunately an apartment was available, and they helped us manage through the process of this tragic event. The staff is so empathetic and create an atmosphere of respect and caring for all of their residents. The residents themselves are very friendly and welcoming to people who are new, which was very comforting in our situation. I would recommend Maple Downs 100% to anyone looking for a place for a loved one!

We recently partnered with Holiday Maple Downs to host a fundraiser for children at their facility, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we began planning, Sean, Molly and the rest of the staff were kind, generous, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and supported. The facility itself is beautifully maintained”clean, bright, and inviting. But what really stood out was the atmosphere: the residents were cheerful and engaged, and it was clear they are cared for and respected. You can feel the warmth of the community as soon as you walk through the door.

Maple Down is an incredible place, and Sean Orcutt is a big reason why. I’ve been in the building for 20 years”I have a home care business and clients that live in the building”and I’ve never met a manager as dedicated as Sean. He truly loves and respects the elderly, always going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and valued. Having a manager like Sean makes my job so much easier. He supports both the staff and residents, creating a wonderful environment for everyone. With all the recent improvements, the building has never looked better. My partner recently became a resident at Holiday Maple Downs. We both have been extremely pleased by the welcoming atmosphere, the pleasant decor, the unexpectedly tasty offerings from the kitchen. But what most pleased us is the personal attention given to all residents by the staff. Whether the office staff, the wait staff, cleaners or aides, the needs of the residents are listened to, acknowledged and responded to with respect and good humor. We were concerned about the transition, as might be expected, but everything was done to make it as easy for us as possible. An initial thumbs up and every expectation he will continue to enjoy and benefit from being a member of the Holiday Maple Downs community.

We’ve lived at Maple Downs for several weeks and there’s no comparison to our previous accommodations in Onondaga County; this sentiment has been expressed by our visitors. Our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is a spacious 967 square feet. The layout is most conducive to feeling like we are in a house! The grounds are well-kept and park-like, with enough parking for residents and visitors, and transportation provided to appointments and shopping. Three daily meals are provided and the dining room atmosphere is friendly and organized. There’s a game room, library, activity room, salon, and other gathering places, with entertainment provided. If you want to experience retirement living in the east suburbs, Maple Downs is the place to visit and join.

I moved my Dad here in June of 2022. I have never worked with a better staff and a better facility anywhere in any field. This place is spectacular. The food is amazing and the amenities are endless. You are safe and helped and have fun at the same time! Huge thanks to Courtenay and staff for all their hard work. What is Maple Downs? It’s Disney Land for our older men and women. It’s simply perfect.

Several friends have lived here in the past and a few currently live here. It is a beautiful building and the apartments are very spacious and have lovely balconies overlooking the property. The Residents I know give high praise to the thoughtful and caring staff as well as the food and activities.

But the employees are wonderful and the enormous support they have relieves their apprehension of a new place . A very pleasant retirement home. The population is definitely at the older end, and the pricing is mid-high. But the staff is quite pleasant, and the ability to put up guests or "time share" elsewhere is nice. A private dining room for groups up to 8 is a nice touch.
