My brother moved to Solstice at the end of April, he had lost his wife last year and needed to make this move. We have noticed such a marked improvement in his overall health and well being since being here! It is totally due to the staff and the way they treat each resident as a part of their own family. There is a community there that he would not be a part of had he stayed home alone in his house. Thank you to each of the staff members from Connie, Merissa, Mindy the ladies at the front desk, the servers in the dining room and Mike the maintenance man, as well as the bus driver.you all have changed the life of my brother Bruce and we his family are grateful!

Ms. Welker, the director of sales and marketing at Solstice, has twice taken members of my family on tours of the facility and selected apartments. Ms. Welker is extremely knowledgeable, and explained the waiting list process and financial aspects to my relatives in a detailed yet easy-to-follow manner. The three wings of the building, and the restaurant area, and the overall setting, are beautiful. We also got to meet Connie Fisher, the executive director, and she impresses with her energy and professionalism. We were also introduced to the director of the onsite home care company (a separate business entity), and she also impresses with her skill at serving residents. Every resident that we've met seems, unprompted, very happy with Solstice, and people we know whose parents live at Solstice are very, very happy about its setup.

My mother has been living at Solstice for 5 months now and we are all very happy with the decision to move in. The apartment is sunny and well laid out. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy and the setting is beautiful. The staff is friendly and super helpful. My mom loves the food and appreciates the variety of activities. The staff has made the transition to senior living very smooth.

Peace of Mind and True Community: The Perfect Fit for My In-Laws Moving from the Chicago area to Guilford to help my in-laws find the right living arrangement was a major transition for our family. We were looking for a difficult balance: a place that offered them true independence but also provided a strong support system and plenty of engagement. Solstice Senior Living has provided all of that and more. The community is spotless and well-maintained, but it is the people who make it special. The Director, Connie, is the epitome of leadership. She seems to be everywhere at once”I’ve even seen her serving meals alongside the crew. Her dedication sets the tone for a staff that is caring, available, and attentive. The transition itself was seamless, thanks to Mindy, our sales counselor. She was incredibly caring and understanding of our specific situation, even recommending the moving company we used. Once settled, the maintenance team proved just as impressive. They are skilled and responsive with a great attitude, handling everything from appliance repairs to simple tasks like replacing cabinet knobs. My in-laws are enjoying three hot meals a day and the convenience of transportation to the library, shopping, and the community center. It is wonderful to see them have access to activities like singing groups and the monthly Veterans group. Knowing there is an on-site care team available if their needs change gives us incredible peace of mind. Solstice was the perfect choice for us.

Five years ago when looking for a place for my aunt relocating from Arizona, what drew us to Solstice were the adorable apartments, the caring staff and the immense number of activities and opportunities to keep the residents engaged. Since then, we have had four family members who have lived at Solstice. It is a wonderful, caring and stimulating independent living community that also offers a la carte Homecare services which we have utilized when transitioning from the hospital. Solstice has been a treasure to our family.

I recently visited Solstice Guilford and was thoroughly impressed. The warm atmosphere and beautiful apartments make it feel like home. The inside is beautiful and clean. However, the outside was a bit concerning in the back. The building appeared to need attention. The concrete was in need of repair or paint, and the bottom of the building had spaces between where the concrete and ground met. Appeared that there could be a water or drainage issue . I am not a professional, so can't speak to whether this effects the building structure or not. This just caught my eye as I drove by.

A little paradise right in Guilford I visited Solstice back on December 2020 and was pleasantly surprised, I never knew independent living can offer so much, the apartments are beautiful and very spacious, all 3 meals are included plus the food is delicious, activities and transportation are also part of the package! The building is beautiful with a lot of history as well as amazing residents and very happy staff members, making it a very harmonious place to be.

Wasn't as clean as I would have expected. Certainly needed to be vacuumed. There shouldn't have been loose rugs by elevator at second floor. This is a senior residence and shouldn't have easy fall areas

Beautiful place we went for a Christmas concert, my 8 yr old grand daughter's class sang for the seniors. It was sweet and the staff was perfect. Everyone had a fantastic time.

I moved my parents to Solstice in January, beautiful, peaceful setting in the woods I enjoy visiting there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartments are spacious and offer great views, my parents enjoy watching the birds and wildlife at the pond.
