Been here for about 10 months. Found the staff and the esidents wonderful. Takes some time to adjust to eating main meal at lunch time and being served on a rotation- bread, drinks salad, then main course, then desert. But that system makes peaple eat together; makes them get to know others; my guess is this creates the happy resident behavior...

Went to tour Holiday Peninsula with Lora. First of all she was an absolute delight. She knows a lot about Gig Harbor living and engages well with the residents that live there. The facility was very active and beautiful with some of the biggest apartments I have seen in an independent living facility. Got to meet and talk with a resident that loves the food and people in him community.

We had a wonderful tour with Lora, we liked the facility a lot and it is definitely on our list of possible places. We are just starting our search for independent living and have at least 1-3 more years before we sell our house and move.

What a fantastic independent living community! My father in law recently moved here and it’s been great. He loves it and we love to visit! The staff are all very kind and jovial. The facility and its amenities are amazing. Lots of shared space which it great to hang out in when our family visits. And the best part is we can join my father in law for a three course meal in the dining area. It’s an awesome place to live and visit.

We had high hopes when we moved in 4 1/2 months ago , but the lack of communication with Management has changed . We love the housekeeping & linen changes each week . Thought at first the management & staff were qualified , but find them not trained or confident with their management skills without enough experience working with the senior community. The General Manager , Nancy , is good but restricted by cooperate company to be flexible to make residents happy to make exceptions for decisions . The cooks are not chefs here & have to comply with food delivered by a contact with Sysco & a menu on a rotating every 3 weeks without creativity . There are NOW no exceptions on the menu , except breakfast . Example : cannot have on the side as it comes as stated in the menu only . We moved here for the meal preparation & housekeeping as I was too weak to prepare meals or l do chores with making beds & cleaning . The meals are hit & miss & poor quality & at times poor presentation . Not enough activities here & staff not familiar with local events in town to have residents attend. Bus restricted to only Tues , Wed. Thurs service . Would not recommend this community if you want good customer service or well prepared delicious meals. No one on duty 24 hrs . Have known this place since he beginning when it was well managed with management on site 24 hrs with good meals . BEWARE!

The remodel is well done and the community has a fresh feel to it. The community sales manager, Lora, is very caring and interested in making sure the residents are happy in their new home.

Impressed and pleased with Holiday Peninsula's overall operations. Knowledgeable and friendly staff helped my mother find a unit perfectly suited for her needs. All of the staff are caring, friendly, they strive to meet our needs, are very accommodating and open to suggestions. I admired during the pandemic that they all pitched in to take care if the residents during lockdown and shortage of staff. The rooms and bathrooms are large and well kept up. I Love the 1/4 mile sidewalk that wraps around the building. Landscaping is constantly being kept up. It is centrally located to shopping centers, restaurants, and medical facilities. The residents are inviting and friendly. Atria is in the process of improving the interior. It will be interesting if they also improve the kitchen and the ordering process.
