I moved my mother into Heatherwood about a month ago. The adjustment has been hard for her but Suzy and her staff have been going above and beyond to make her comfortable and help her adjust to her new environment. The rooms are very nice and well maintained. The kitchen staff makes excellent meals with a lot of variety. The wait staff is very accommodating. They have constant fun activities and exercise classes scheduled daily. When we found this place and saw how reasonable the pricing was I was a little concerned at first but Heatherwood stands up to the best of the senior living facilities around the Treasure Valley. I recommend anybody who is looking for a senior living facility to make sure you look into Heatherwood. You will not regret it

Mary at Heatherwood was a pleasure to talk with. She gave us a wonderful tour of the facility. We were very impressed at how nice the facilities were and all they offer at a very reasonable price. We spoke to a number of residents who all expressed how happy they were to be living there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a residence for themselves or a loved one.

We needed to find a place for Mom she was living with us here in Meridian, however it proved to be more challenging in a blended family environment consisting of me and my wife my wife’s Mom our daughter and husband with a baby on the way along with several animals. Well mom wasn’t prepared for that big of a change she needed her independence back and I believe this is the place she’s going to find it. The people living there practically sold it to us! Such friendly folks and staff all welcoming with open arms. My mom will be able to gain new friends our relationships, activities , three square meals, engage and participate as she wishes and retreat to her own room that is another retreat in itself. Complete with WiFi through out, laundry facilities, a weekly cleaning along with linens and towels laundry each week. We enjoyed two dinners there the food was great and everyone we met was very happy. Calling A place for mom was me just inquiring and within a week she now has a home. One issue drawing concern is the rent is doable for now but we may need to reevaluate down the road at 5-6% increase per year saying it keeps up with growing inflation however my mom’s income inflation rate on her social security is 2.5% let’s hope it stays lower in the years to come. The staff member Mary was very polite and patient as she gave us the tour of the facility. I think my mom will love it here. She can’t wait to move in.

We had the honor of hosting a networking lunch in October at Heatherwood, and it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in the courtyard. The trees were stunning and the outside area was incredibly well-kept. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Heatherwood!

My mother has been here four years and we visit often she is very happy here , with great activity's & outings that keep her busy. Good food , live music, shopping thrift stores,games, wined down Wednesday with music, etc. We go to some events for good time & visit and it's a nice place. Were Happy she moved there around good folks.

My brother lived at Heatherwood for less than a year and he spoke very highly of the grounds, his apartment and the staff. Ultimately, he needed more assistance (AL situation). Cindy and Brandon were so patient with my husband and I while we tried to find an AL that would work. Thank you!

If I were able to, I would give Heatherwood a ten star review. My parents have resided at Heatherwood for about a year and a half and I am so thankful that a unit was available when they made the move from their home of sixty-four years. This warm and cozy assisted listing community offers all the amenities of home and more. The most important ingredient to this happy place is the Staff - enough cannot be said about how kind, giving and loving everyone is. My family is at peace knowing that our parents are living their final years in a place where the staff truly cares about them. A shout out to Jenny Hall who, from the very beginning, has been most helpful in managing several difficult paths we have had to venture down since our transition to more care and then hospice care at this time. We are so grateful to have had her help throughout this time in our parents' lives. Thank you.

As a hospice nurse, I visit many people in their homes. The staff of Heatherwood went above and beyond to ensure that a patient had a safe and comfortable place to be for his last days. Residents seem genuinely happy to live here, the dining room was lively, and the surroundings were beautiful. Thank you for all you do!

My parents moved here 2 years ago and we were both very happy with every aspect of what heatherwood offers A very warm atmosphere with kind staff, a multitude of activities to engage in and surprisingly great food. I'm very grateful for everything you guys have done to take care of my parents from making sure they have rides to their appointments to checking in on them to make sure they're staying fed and are doing okay. The other residents that I've met are super loveable and honestly make my visits there memorable I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to be apart of a diverse community of unique characters.

I would highly recommend Heatherwood Senior Living. I lived there for a year and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It is an all inclusive lifestyle which includes maid service once a week, free laundry facilities, quiet and spacious rooms, an in house beauty salon, a shuttle bus and three meals a day that are absolutely fabulous. Don't like something on the menu? No problem. They also have an alternative menu where you can choose something that better suits your tastes. They also have 24 hour security, covered and lighted parking and arts and crafts that are fun and rewarding. The staff are friendly and professional and will help you with any problems that may arise. The Executive Director will be certain to assist you with courtesy and the highest in professional conduct and it is always delivered with a smile. The people are exceedingly friendly and engaging as well. So give Heatherwood a try. It is well worth your time and energy to come check it out!!!

The most outstanding attribute I see here at Heatherwood is that you're not moving into a senior facility, you're moving into a home. The amenities are numerous and all activities are driven towards the comfort and serenity of the residents. Outstanding lines of communication; If there's ever a problem you can rest assured that someone will help and be courteous about it.

Moving my mom from her house and garden of 45 years was difficult. The staff and residents at Heatherwood have been nothing but kind to her and have assisted everyday in making sure she is welcome and feels at home. It is making the transition far easier than ever excepted.

i have been a resident at HEATHERWOOD since may 1,2011 and when i first arrived my breathing was poor and my ability to walk was worse. after much encouragement and improving suggestions by the staff my walking has advanced to one mile per day from 1/2 a block and my breathing has improved considerably.my diabetes is under control and slowly i'm improving the strength on my right side where i suffered a small stroke in sept 2010. i enjoy the friendly culture at HEATHERWOOD and hope to continue to live here as long as the good lord allows. smiles to all,george baker
