Dominion is absolutely the best assisted living facility! Since moving in April 2021, our family has been impressed with the nursing staff and the resident assistants. There are a variety of activities for the residents to participate in on a daily basis, plus many community related activities for families to engage in throughout the year. The building and grounds are lovely, and we always feel welcome when we visit. The biggest draw has been the community aspect and hearing our family speak of new friends all the time. We are proud to have become a part of the Dominion family.

I began looking for a place for my mother in March 2023. I called Dominion several times with questions and Kara Fleenor was so lovely to work with. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home before we even got there. Once we moved her to Dominion in April, I have been extremely impressed with EVERYONE. The nursing staff is attentive and they always take the time to explain things. The RAs have been so kind to my mom and take the time to get to know her. The housekeeping crew have met my mother's standards and that's not easy! Felissa at the front desk and Carla, the administrator, are friendly and knowlegeable and want to help any way they can. I've had numerous family members at various nursing homes/assisted living facilities over the past 15 years, and Dominion beats them all, in every aspect! Suzanne Reaves

This is a place my dad can call home. When he first arrived near a year ago, he didn't want to be involved in any activity that they provided, he just wanted to give up. Within a few months the staff made him feel like he was part of the family and he began to become more involved and his spirits were lifted. He was doing great and playing bingo weekly, participating in church and weekly devotions, and it all came to a halt when he slipped and fell and broke his neck. He had to be placed in a rehabilitation facility locally and the care was not good at all. The residents made a huge poster with everyone's picture on it including the staff. A couple of nurses from Dominion visited him on their own time and ended up showering him, changing his bed that was filthy, and putting clean clothes in him. The hair stylist from Dominion even came and cut his hair. Those were the worst 3 weeks my dad had been through. Everyone wanted him back at Dominion, and they were able to make that happen and do therapy there. I can't say enough about this place. It is definitely a place where God's presence is felt and the staff definitely cares for the residents. There is no other place like this and I have searched around and even had my father stay for short stays elsewhere. This is truly a great home for anyone who is looking for that extra help for their loved ones. Thank you to everyone at Dominion for all you do!!

I consider myself truly blessed to have found this community for my father, who has lived at Dominion- Johnson City for about a year. After my father broke his hip, which also worsened his dementia, I knew we would have to make some lifestyle changes. I looked at many options. In home help was far too unreliable and stressful to ensure proper attention. I visited close to a dozen communities in the Johnson City community. Until I found Dominion, I was uneasy about the communities. However, I knew when I found Dominion and first walked into this community that this was going to be a good experience. The community is extremely well maintained and exceptionally clean. It is also wonderfully hospitable to residents and guests alike. It very much feels like a hotel resort to me, and I visit frequently. Besides the facilities being so modern and well maintained, the real positive force are the staff at all levels. Everyone is very friendly and EXTREMELY hardworking. From my observations, everyone pitches in. I frequently see managers clearing dinner dishes and setting tables for the next meal. Anytime I have a request or need to be addressed, it is always answered with an energetic can do attitude. Hospitality and health care are both very demanding industries – putting the two together makes that much more challenging. However, I believe Dominion continues to do it well. Dominion truly has given me piece of mind. Plus, my father tells me frequently how much he likes living here, and he thinks he is lucky to be here. I agree!!

My mother has just recently moved to Dominion and I cant say enough wonderful things about this family of caretakers. Ava and her staff have been an answer to our prayers and even though she is adjusting to her new home, I am comforted knowing she is in such loving hands!

They are a 5 star and go way beyond the call of duty with your loved one. I always know my mother is in good hands. They throw unbelievable parties. If you encounter a problem, they are on it. I highly recommend them. Mom has not been this happy in so long. Thank you Dominion!!
