From the moment I walked into Bavarian Comfort Care, my heart was touched in a way I never expected. There is something truly special about this place, you feel it immediately. The warmth, compassion, and genuine care that fill the building are impossible to miss. It doesn’t feel like just a facility; it feels like home. The staff go above and beyond to make every resident feel valued, respected, and loved. You can see the passion in what they do, and the relationships they build are real and meaningful. Every smile, every conversation, and every small act of kindness makes a difference here. Bavarian Comfort Care holds a very special place in my heart. It’s a place where care is given with love, dignity, and compassion, and I am truly grateful for the impact it has had on me. Walking through those doors was an experience I will never forget.

Based on my experience with their staff and residents, it is easy to see that everyone cares about each other. Staff is engaged with all of them, taking the time to get to know them as individuals and making sure they are well taken care of. The entire staff has great energy which benefits their residents because they offer choices, positivity and respect. This fosters a positive environment for themselves and everyone they serve. They have a I get to not a I have to mentality. (There’s a big difference) The positive energy and commitment to care is really made clear when you see how all the different residents from all walks of life blend together and having fun together. It’s really cool to see. There are so many unique people calling Bavarian Comfort Care home. It is not a facility, it is a home and a family! Thankful for them! ™

I took my kids to the Trunk or Treat event at Bavarian Comfort Care this afternoon, and we had such a great time! The facility was clean and welcoming, and it was so heartwarming to see so many of the residents sitting outside their rooms handing out candy to the kids. You could tell it meant a lot to them, and it was really special for my kids to interact with them too. Such a thoughtful event”thank you for putting it on!

I can't say enough about how grateful we are that my dad doesn't his last weeks at this "home". They were wonderful, every one of them! My dad was suffering from lewey body dementia, he needed 24 hour attending. They were amazing! They knew just how to deal with him and others with confusion, etc. They are calm sweet and never give up on the residents. When my dad was close to passing, they took care of my sister and I. We c stayed the night, and one of us were with him 24/7. They were always checking to see if we needed anything. I would choose this place over and over. Aside from the care, the facility is nice, currently redecorating. The residents rooms (we referred to them as apartments to my dad) are big, roomy enough for bed, dressers and a mini living room. Nice big bathrooms and walk in closet. Nice secure outside sitting area. The dining area and living rooms are also nice and roomy, definitely had a home feel not a hospital feel. Hands down the best place to care for your loved one! ’

The changes that have been to this facility are incredible! The staff here truly care for their residents and it shows! It is clean, the residents are always doing fun activities, and they’ve made so many updates recently! All these reviews are from people who worked at Bavarian comfort care who was apart of admin and was getting special treatment admin is very unprofessional and so is staff the gossip all day long instead of changing residents if you are black they except you to go above and beyond like there’s something to prove to them they fired every black women that was in the office because they did what they was suppose to do and made sure they staff was satisfied if your looking to work or send family there this is not the place at all since Jenny have been gone every year at least two admins are in that office there’s no structure and once someone (black) gets to telling the truth or stand up for themselves that’s when the police gets called yeah Bavarian comfort care is a fraud they only care about the money not them residents they just hired people to get out the people they don’t like time for some truth to be exposed

I came to visit my grandad after not being able to make it for a few months since I live out of town, and I was really impressed. The building looks so nice with the new floors and painted walls. I met Alicia and Keisha from the new management team and they were super friendly and welcoming. I also got to meet his physical therapist and she was amazing, really kind and easy to talk to. The best part was seeing how happy my grandad seemed. It makes me feel so much better knowing he’s being taken care of.

The new administration at Bavarian Comfort Care has been absolutely wonderful. The staff on the floor who care for the residents each day are amazing”so compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to making sure everyone feels comfortable and well cared for. The memory care team works tirelessly with so much patience and kindness. The activities director also does an outstanding job planning fun and meaningful activities that keep the residents engaged and smiling. The administration has truly made the building beautiful with all the recent updates”the new carpet and fresh paint over the last couple of months have created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I’m truly impressed with all of the improvements and the dedication of the team here.

DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! I have no idea where these great reviews are coming from, but this place is HORRIBLE! My father was there in assisted living and my step-mother was in memory care. If not for my father being right there and my stepsister coming in almost every day, she would have had no care at all! There were nights they did not get her up to the bathroom and the next morning she was swimming in pee. She had numerous falls while in their care and several trips to the hospital to be sure she hadn't broken anything. The food was not good at all, mostly pasta. (Cheap to serve). My father was not getting his meds on time and one morning he was having a stroke and trying to communicate to one of the workers. She was absolutely rude to him! They finally called an ambulance. We reported this place to the State of Michigan, but somehow the records did not reflect anything we told them. Wonder how that happened? My dad has since moved in with my sister and my stepmother has passed away. Finally, an end to our nightmare with them!

I would never recommend Bavarian Comfort Care in Bridgeport. They did an ok job taking care of my mother-in-law while she was alert but left her to die alone once she was on heavy med's. Her purse was stolen, and nobody tried to help us find it. 8 months after her death we were contacted by their attorney claiming she owed her last month's rent. They were on autopay, so we knew that wasn't true. Lucky for us we had access to her bank account enabling us to prove they were paid. It cost us $35 but we're glad we had access to the information. I think they count on people not having access, especially so long after a loved one dies. I'll give them 1 star only because I can't leave a review with 0 stars.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone at Bavarian Comfort Care for the great care that my brother received while he was there. While he was there, I saw the team work together to provide the residents with compassionate care, while still maintaining a fun atmosphere. The facility is beautiful, and offers residents the opportunity to get out into the community through different excursions. For example, a couple of things that my brother got to do were to go fishing and go to a circus performance. He had a great time! No place is perfect, but most Bavarian Comfort Care employees truly care about their residents, and the ones that don't get weeded out. Not only is it a nice facility, there are also plenty of things to do in the area with Frankenmuth shops and Birch Run Outlets being close by, whether you choose to take your loved one with you or not. I would recommend Bavarian Comfort Care to anyone looking for a place to care for a loved one. So, on behalf of me and my family, thank you!
