I can't say enough things about this community! The activities offered here are absolutely amazing, providing endless opportunities for fun and socializing. It's truly inspiring to see how much the residents thrive and flourish with each activity. What sets this place apart is the incredibly compassionate staff. They go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels valued, loved, and well taken care of. My sister has resided at Aspen Valley for 5 years and is consistently receiving outstanding care. The thing that stands out the most when I'm visiting my sister is how the residents are treated with kindness and respect from all the staff. The residents are provided with loving care, stimulating activities, and inclusive entertainment. It's very comforting to know that she is in such good hands.

message from my mother, JB: My husband has been a resident in Memory Care at Aspen Valley for 2 years. As you might imagine, the decision to place him in a facility was extremely difficult for me. As his Alzheimer's progressed, it became apparent to me and my children that he required care beyond my ability to manage at home. From my first meeting with Paul Fredrickson at Aspen, until we finally decided to place my husband there, I have been impressed with the care and concern that he has received from the staff. He has his own private room and bathroom, but spends a great deal of time in the main living areas. In the summer he is very content to spend time outside on the patio and loves to dig in the gardening beds. There are ongoing activities in which the residents may or may not choose to participate. The staff always greets the residents by name, and seems to genuinely care about each one. I would highly recommend Aspen Valley Living to any family who is faced with making the difficult decision to place a loved one or themselves in this type of facility. J.B.

Some decisions are harder than others. Deciding on a new home for your loved one where you hope they will be happy and well-cared for is one of the tough ones. 6 months ago my mom moved to Aspen Valley Senior Living and we are both very happy with the decision. The administrative staff are professional, dedicated and understanding. The care-givers and staff are skilled, attentive and kind. Three great meals are served daily in the dining room by a helpful staff. Housekeepers do an exceptional job of keeping the entire place clean and the building is well maintained. Most importantly, my mom is comfortable, cared for and tells me she 'likes it here.'

Our family chose Aspen Valley for its small size and the ability to get more attention to our family member. We have been working with Aspen Valley since the facility opened 5 years ago. We have found the caretakers in the memory care unit always willing and able to work with any needs that have come up. Our family highly recommends Aspen Valley Senior Living should your love one unfortunately is in need of special care.

I will be forever grateful to Aspen Valley and their entire team! My grandparents moved in right before the Covid lockdown in 2020. This was a major time of transition for my familly and Aspen made things as easy as possible. This was the second Senior Living Community my grandparents had moved to and unlike the first one, they were very clear and upfront with their terms and conditions. Throughout the years, as my grandparents declined, they always had the upmost respect for them. Their care never wavered, they were always professional and easy to communicate with. If ever problems arose, they were dealt with in a timely and professional manner. As for the actual facility- very clean, well taken care of and maintained. You feel welcomed and at home as soon as you step in the doors. They always planned fun, family friendly events and outings for the residents. They always went above and beyond to make sure family and residents were happy, well taken care of and felt welcome. I am sad to no longer see all the friendly faces because they all became family to me.

Aspen Valley Senior Living has provided my Mom with compassionate and caring staffers and a clean and cozy living environment. She loves the food ( Orlando) and all the great people that care for her including Tasheica who lovingly does her hair every week! Paul was so instrumental in helping me with the logistics of moving my Mom from the Midwest to be closer to me. Aspen Valley has turned out to be the perfect home for her!

I love the team at Aspen Valley! This community is clean, friendly and welcoming. They host a lot of special dinners or events and invite families of the residents to join in. Their rooms are spacious… even their studios! They've got a great happy hour; food is delicious; and they are pet friendly too! I always recommend Aspen Valley to my clients who are looking for assisted living!

I have worked here for 2 years, even commuted 72 miles round trip for 2 years, we are family we take care of eachother look out for eachother, but the residents are the best part, I feel like I have 60 grandparents they are the best!!!!!!

I highly recommend Aspen Valley Senior Living Memory Care Unit. Their empathy and kindness for my dad and our family was so welcome. They treated my dad with respect and dignity throughout his stay. I visited at many different times and days during the week due to my schedule and I watched the employees interact with various individuals and everyone got the same top notch care. Their administration was also really professional and they made things easy. Thank you Jackie and Tia and everyone who helped our family.

We moved my Mom to Aspen Valley last October and it has turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The staff has been fantastic, her care has been excellent and she is the happiest she has been in years. They navigated through COVID and gave consistent updates and they are always responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend Aspen Valley to anyone considering long term care for a loved one.

There comes a point in time, where a family has to let go and understand when dementia is more than they can handle on a daily basis. The care, patience and constant reminders the staff at Aspen Valley Senior Living has given Amuma (Mom) has been incredible. Everyone who has cared for Amuma has been very kind and attentive to her needs. It has been difficult as a daughter and son to see what this disease can do to someone who enjoys life so much. Management, care staff, maintenance, food service, activity coordinator and a few new friends, have been wonderful to Amuma. Overall, a great experience!

When my wife and I started looking for a senior living community for my mother (who is blind and has dementia) we visited 4 different communities and Aspen Valley was head and shoulders above them all. The building was very clean, bright and cheery, and the caregivers were especially friendly and helpful. After we took the tour we went back that night after dinner when some of the residents were visiting in the main living room. We told them that my mother was thinking about moving into their community and asked how they liked living there. Every one of these lovely ladies told us how much they enjoyed living there, and not one of them had a bad thing to say about the community. My mom has been living in Aspen Valley for over two years now, and I can't tell you what peace of mind it brings knowing that my mom is in a safe and loving community. She has made new friends that truly watch out for her, and is treated with patience, kindness and dignity by the wonderful caregivers. This is a small close-knit community where everyone knows one another. I pop in on my mom three to four times a week and the community is always clean the employees are incredibly helpful and there are always fun activities for the residents to take part in. Even though my mom is blind and has dementia they always find creative ways to include her in the activities. I am so happy that we found Aspen Valley for my mom. She is always telling me what a nice place this is.

My mother has lived at Aspen Valley Senior Living since April, 2020. Aspen Valley is a wonderful place with caring staff, fun activities, clean and roomy accommodations. Aspen Valley is near the Boise River, Green Belt and in a family oriented neighborhood. My Mom loves to go for walks in the neighborhood. I highly recommend Aspen Valley Senior Living.

I moved in February of 2020 and have been happier then ever. During COVID, the staff did an amazing job caring for all of us. Everyone here is so caring and compassionate, I would recommend anyone needing extra care to come here. The food is great, and the events that are held are always so much fun.

I had my family member here for respite care in the memory care area. It is a wonderful facility. Multiple staff greeted my family member when he walked in . There are daily activities planned for memory care residents which provide the level of stimulation they need. They have a secure outdoor area that is very nice. Staff treat residents in a very loving, personal way. The food is good and meals are served family style. It is family owned and Scott Jenkins and Colleen Jenkins take great pride in operating a quality facility. It was also a difficult time for me and the staff were supportive of me as well. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need.

Amazing care! The staff at Aspen Valley are so caring. Our mother from day one was treated like family. We moved from another facility and the care was night and day. Scott, Colleen and Ryan Jenkins take so much pride in their facility. Terri the nurse is truly a gem. You will not find better care for your loved one.
