Frequently this facility has events available to friends and family. I have attended several of these and, in fact, attended a big band evening last night. It was held in the dining room and there were easily 50 residents there. The staff was dancing with residents, laughing with residents, clapping and singing with residents. I also noticed they were making sure they were comfortable by putting in ear plugs for those sensitive to the sounds. They went around to each resident and provided snacks and drinks. I have cared for and worked with elderly clients over 13 years and I can tell you that a negligent or uncaring staff would never bother treating their residents like this. These staff were fully commited to making sure the residents enjoyed themselves and were well cared for. This was not the first event I attended as I mentioned, and I' ve never seen a resident treated any other way but with compassion and kindness.

I have no problem with the facility. However, I have a problem with your corporation for extorting a 15 % increase in rates and refusing to negotiate the increase. It puts a black mark on our overall experience with Cedarhurst!

It has been three weeks since my mother-in-law moved into Cedarhurst and we could not be more pleased! The facility is absolutely beautiful but it's the staff that takes the experience over the top! The nurses and CNAs who take care of my mother-in-law are amazing, there are plenty of activities to keep her busy, the food is great, and there are even church services, which are important to her! I highly recommend Cedarhurst in Yorkville because of the PEOPLE who are caring for her - they give us complete peace of mind!

I am a nurse that travel throughout the different counties to different facilities and I want to say how impressed I have been since my first day meeting beautiful receptionist Hannah and Britany always with a greeting of warm smiles which makes a whole difference in a place ambience. Its very clean and smells good. I have been working with a client with kind hearted nurses Jay and Krystal, caregivers Monze P who always find time to help me and brings a lot of joy to their residents. I can tell they really care for their residents because they know every particular thing about each of residents which means each resident is getting individualized care which is VERY important for residents with Dementia. DON Tiffany is awesome she manages the facility so well, cares about her employees and truly follow-up on her residents needs to ensure all is met. She and the nurses has been so welcoming to me and they literally bring me joy when I watch how much they care for their residents. Katie makes sure she brings live entertainment that makes the resident experience things the cant experience giving some of their inability to leave the facility. They had a Car show the other day and I was impressed with how they organized this for the residents to have a little outing in the facilities beautiful backyard and sitting area outside. I rate them a 5 because its clean, staff is great, activities in place, food looks so good, and their coordination of care with outside vendors is great. I love visiting places such as this with uplifting people who truly care about their resident like they are their family.

This place is amazing they treat my grandma with the highest amount of respect and love the staff does everything possible to make sure ever resident is happy and well cared for it is ASSISTED LIVING so of course they are not required to do certain things however most of the time they will do those certain things if it’s possible and the rehab/physical therapy has really helped grandma a ton when she came back from the nursing rehab center she could barely even walk to the bathroom now 2 months later and he has her being able to walk around the whole building the food used to be just a step above edible but I’m not sure what changes but now the food is real good and the menu options are pretty decent as well honestly i don’t want to name names but there’s a couple ladies there that work tirelessly to ensure everyone is happy my grandma and myself can’t say enough good about this place we both highly recommend them.

My grandparents have been here for almost a year and they love it here. I was very nervous about them moving into assisted living after but this place has made me feel 100% ok with them being there. The staff is AMAZING and they treat the residents as if they are their own family they truly do care about each person. Covid has made life so difficult for all of us especially for elderly but the staff has done a wonderful job of keeping everyone safe and healthy and even go way above and beyond to make sure the residents dont get bored or depressed during this very depressing times. I super highly recommend this place to anyone that has a loved one in need of assisted living.

My mother has been in the Yorkville facility since before they were open (she was at Cedarhurst of Naperville first). We are very happy with the care she has received. This is a beautiful facility. There are plenty of activities to keep her mind and body active. We know she is safe and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and noticeably happy. This is important to us knowing that the staff likes what they are doing. Due to the Caremerge App we are in constant communication with the staff. If you are reading this I can only tell you that if you are considering a senior facility or memory care Cedarhurst of Yorkville is definitely a place worth checking out. Cedarhurst of Yorkville is a wonderful assisted living community. They really embrace the word community in all that they do. The residents are their most important priority. They have many activities throughout each day so that the residents can socialize with the friends they have made.Emily is a compassionate and caring director. A large part of Cedarhursts family oriented atmosphere was created by her as well as the other considerate employees. My mom is a founding member of the Yorkville location. I cant imagine my mom in a better living facility then Cedarhurst of Yorkville.

Ive worked at Cedarhurst of Yorkville for almost 7 months. Im primarily a Dining Server, but Ive also worked as a Resident Assistant. I will be leaving for college soon, and am heartbroken because of it. Ive built relationships and created memories that I will never forget. The leadership here at Cedarhurst is astounding. There is a clear ambience of love and acceptance. Even through this pandemic, there is unity and excitement. Im not saying things dont get difficult at times, as they would anywhere—but here, issues are handled with ease. If there isnt a clear solution to a problem, we work together to find one. I have shed many tears at the thought of saying goodbye to all my buddies—residents & staff. They really are special, and if youre debating whether or not to have your loved one stay here, please do send them this way. I thank Jesus for urging me to shop in Yorkville last December, because He knew I would apply for a job after catching a glimpse of this gorgeous facility that would later hold my entire heart.

Very highly recommend this facility. My grandparents have been here about 2 month and so far I only have great things to say. The food is better then most facilities, the staff is honestly the best part of this place. The staff does such an amazing job of keeping the residents busy, they always include the residents family, but most important they treat the residents like family. I feel so at ease knowing they are always checking up on my grandparents. As far as apartment sizes they are very large compared to other assisted living facilities. Do your loved ones a favor and check this place out you will not be sorry.

I had the pleasure of touring this facility during a local chamber event. This is a one of a kind a gorgeous facility that is matched by a staff that is truly passionate about their craft. There happened to be a seated volleyball game for the residents that I really got a kick out of. It was refreshing to see seniors that were energized with competitive spirit.

Outstanding senior living facility with staff who truly care about and respect seniors. Warm and friendly atmosphere with a feeling of family. Everyone is greeted with a smile and acknowledged by name. Exceptional restaurant style dining, daily activities, periodic group outings, cookouts in the courtyard, movie nights, card games, pet therapy, one on ones, well being checks, laundry service, cleaning service, Beauty, Barber Shop, monthly Resident & Family Council meetings, live streaming church services, onsite Therapy Department and onsite Physician visits offer everything under one roof. Secure, comfortable, well maintained facility. The best senior leadership I have ever encountered in any senior living facility. Everything is done as a team and it works well. I moved my dad here in early May and he is very happy and content. I cant say enough good about this place. I absolutely love it.

It has been a year since my first 5 star review, and I still hold Cedarhurst of Yorkville in such great regard.Especially through such a difficult 2020, Director Emily and her staff have kept the residents, employees and families safe from the pandemic. I can only imagine all of the challenges that have been addressed on a daily basis. Their care, compassion, communication, and ability to pivot when challenges arise make Cedarhurst of Yorkville a valuable part of our family. As one of the first residents of Cedarhurst of Yorkville, we feel that our Mom is a member of a safe and genuinely caring community. When we visit, we are greeted by attentive and happy staff. The facility size and resources are a nice balance to create a hometown atmosphere. Keep up the good work, activities, and good food as the rest of the apartments are rented.

My father was one of the first to live at Cedarhurst of Yorkville. He lived at the Naperville facility until they opened. His care has been amazing! The staff is so attentive. He is in memory care and they have him playing checkers and bowling ... always keeping his mind and body active! I use Caremerge to keep in constant contact with the staff. If I have a question it is answered immediately. My parents have been in a few facilities but this is by far the best ever!! I would definitely recommend Cedarhurst of Yorkville!! Your loved one will be taken care of and you will know what is going on. Beautiful facility and always clean.. including his room... trash cans always emptied and his bed always changed and made. I could not be happier.

My mom has been in Cedarhurst of Naperville since December. It has been our intention to move her closer to us. They (Yorkville) had their Open House today. Very beautiful facility. Very friendly staff. Right now they are waiting for the State Inspections and then well get our mom moved.
