My mother has been at Sodalis for over a year in both assisted living and memory care. The team there including Bianca, Norma and Cindy along with all the other staff have taken great care of her and really care about the residents. The chef and cooking staff do a great job as well. Our overall experience at Sodalis Stone Oak has been very good. We are grateful.

My wife has been in the Memory Center for 2 1/2 years. She has received very good care overall, the food served is good, and the staff is competent and takes good care of residents. Cindy is in charge of the Memory Center and is available for any issues that need to be addressed.

My overall experience at sodails stone oak is amazing, my grandma has been here for a couple of months and we absolutely LOVE it! The workers and staff here are amazing and welcoming,I've never had a problem with anything or anyone here, my grandma has never complained about anything at all! I would 100% recommend this facility for anyone looking for a good place for your family members! This facility is also amazingly clean and taking care of!

Tanisha and the staff have gone above and beyond for my grandmother, the care they offer her means everything to me. I know that we have all seen videos and heard crazy stories about horrible facilities and how they treat their residents. I can confirm that Sodalis is far from that. Sodalis Stone Oak, San Antonio, TX is my HOME. The ambiance and “feeling” when I first went there as a volunteer was so warm and welcoming I couldn’t believe it. It was not my intention to live there and from my observations I thought how pleasant the environment and how fortunate the Residents to live in such surroundings. Wonderful activities are planned for us on a regular basis as well. The Staff is so caring, patient and kind toward all. When, after a few months, I chose SODALIS for my residence, my Daughter remarked, “Mom, I only hope that in my senior years, there is such a place as SODALIS for me to live.” Thank you to all the Staff who make our Home such a great experience for all of us.

My father currently resides at Sodalis stone oak. I couldn't have picked a better place for him. He loves the food, made friends, the staff is great and tentative. Tanisha the head nurse has been so responsive and beyond helpful during this transition for my family and I. Bianca has been great and has a great team under her. Kimberly who I tour with really sold the place to us. She answered our questions and helped us every step of the way. We stand by Sodalis , it's the perfect place , it's our fathers new home. The reason I gave a low score was because of the way Sodalis handled my fathers death. I had a camera in his room. I saw him pass. I tried calling repeatedly with no answer. Four hours later I called the directors phone. She sent someone to his room to check on him. At 4:00 that morning I was told his door would be left open and they would do hourly checks on him. He had had a rough night. NOBODY came at all. They didn't even look in his door as they claimed when questioned. Breakfast time came. They didn't go see if he wanted any. It was one excuse (and cover up) after another. I have it on tape. ALL of it. While I do not blame the facility for his passing, I do blame them for the horrible way they dealt with it. Two staff members stood by his dead body and read texts from Tanisha regarding his care to justify not checking on him after April called me at 4AM and was concerned about him. Total lack of communication. That was our biggest issue all along. I would give five stars for the cleanliness of the facility and some of the staff for their kindness to my dad (especially Shannon).

Sodalis at Stone Oak is incredible. The staff are remarkable for what they do daily. Management always being proactive instead of reactive to situations that occur. I love how tentative each employee is to our grandmother. The lady at the front desk is a peach! Always smiling and so pleasant. The ED and HWD have a great team and must be proud of these individuals!! not everyday is a good day but they sure do make the best of it. The love they have for the residents is great. They ensure to make it feel like home for all residents and they are guest who respect their home. The apartments are a bit small but cozy! They have great family events and entertainment the activities lady norma is fun and perfect for the job

I was here with podiatry and was blown away at how friendly the staff is especially in caring for the residents, and how happy the residents are. I have never been to a facility where every single patient we saw was in such a good mood! Memory Care residents are really well cared for! And the building and outdoor areas are beautiful. Very clean and well-kept. I’m so glad to know the community has Sodalis.

Sodalis at Stone Oak is a breathe of fresh air. The frontline staff is great. Food is amazing. It's always clean & everyone is so nice. My grandma has lived there for a year now. And we have seen the same faces for awhile which is great meaning the turnover rate is very low! Which to me means management is doing something right to keep the employees happy. Huge plus. I have seen the director of nursing and executive on the floor working when they have been short staff tells me they don't mind getting their hands dirty. You don't see that often of management helping their employees. I praise that and them for being in this line of work it's a tough job but anytime I ask how they're doing today it's always "great!" With a smile on their face. No place is perfect but this is sure close. We have never been unpleased by the care they provide. I highly recommend this assisted living / memory care

Last October I was on a search for my Mom to find an assisted living residence with caring/loving people, fun social activities and a warm place to call home. I wanted to find a place that had assisted living and memory care, that way she could reside in the same place if and when memory care is needed. Sodalis at Stone Oak had everything and more that I was looking for. The Bridge Program is a great program for my Mom. It is the "Bridge" between Assisted Living and Memory care. My Mom is active, engaged and loved by all the staff members. Staff are caring and communicative and always available for me if I have a questions and or suggestions. If you are looking for great care and a staff that is loving and caring I HIGHLY recommend Sodalis at Stone Oak !!!!

Our family searched numerous in-home assisted living opportunities as well as corporate assisted living scenarios for our mother. It is a tiring process but one of most important to find quality care for your loved one. Sodalis at Stone Oak was recommended to me and we could not be more pleased. The staff truly care for the residents. They go above and beyond to ensure our mom is well cared for. They monitor if she is eating well, if something seems off-kilter health wise and they encourage participation in community events. The atmosphere of Sodalis Stone Oak is pleasant and uplifting for the residents, from the natural light to the hues of green and blue in the beautiful common area. They even have happy hour 3 days a week with fun and uplifting music. The executive director, marketing director and nursing director are all very responsive. Even the maintenance person, Evan, assists with TV issues. The management team makes recommendations on ways to improve our mom's experience. For instance, she has been weak due to health issues. They saw an opportunity to move her closer to the dining hall and consulted with our family to see what we thought. We were thrilled to know that she would not have to walk so far. As a matter of fact, this has allowed her the strength to come out of her apartment more and participate. They have a common TV and many of the residents come out to listen to music or watch programs together. The resident community members are all so helpful to each other and watch out for each other. Besides that they are a fun group of residents. Overall, we are extremely happy. We would recommend Sodalis Stone Oak to you if you are considering a "home" for your loved one. It is difficult as a daughter, still employed, to know that my mom is getting the TLC she so rightly deserves in the golden years. They are with her in the times I cannot be and I know she is getting great love and care.

We had an exceptional experience touring and learning about Sodalis Stone Oak. Kim Persyn was particularly great. She patiently helped us navigate a confusing and overwhelming situation. Kim anticipated our questions and concerns and helped us feel comfortable and cared for. She also stayed in touch well after our visit ensuring we had everything we needed to make the right decision for our family. Sodalis is a beautiful facility, you owe it to yourself to visit.

As an employee who has only been working here a short time, I would absolutely recommend Sodalis at Stone Oak! The residents are truly loved and cared for like family. This is not a place like one would think of as a regular assisted living/memory care facility but so much more! The residents are known personally by all employees and are catered to in such a loving manner. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents busy all while fostering friendships with each other. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to any of my own loved ones.

Sodalis at Stone Oak is absolutely the best! We moved both my mother and father to this community so they could be together! Starting with Management... INCREDIBLE!!! Joseph embraced our family from the very beginning ensuring he clearly understood our needs and expectations as it pertained to our beloved parents. Joseph has been a GOD SEND! He has been available day and night to address Another key member of their management team is Ricky... he has a gift and truly loves each of his residents ensuring they receive the utmost attention and care. A big shout out to Norma for ensuring their medical needs are on point! I would also like to thank Lori for her kindness snd leadership. Last but not least... the caretakers ... they are so kind and truly care about my parents, I would like to specifically mention Yanisha and Roxane who I interact with the most, THANK YOU both for all you do!!! I moved my mom to Sodalis Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Stone Oak following a very negative experience at Canyons of Stone Oak.What a difference!!!! I am so impressed with Sodalis! Every employee at this facility is beyond professional. They are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about their population. They bend over backwards to make sure their residents and families are happy and well taken care of. The place is new, beautiful and clean, and the food is amazing!!! Mom has had difficulty with transitions in the past but, this time, she transitioned easily in less than a week and has adjusted remarkably well. I attribute her quick adjustment to the caretakers and the loving support she receives daily. She told me she loves it and is happy there. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who has loved ones in need of a new home. We have peace of mind knowing that we found a great place for mom and that she is happy.

Just noticed Sodalis - Stone Oak was awarded Memory Care of the year by Memory.Care.com; Congratulations! Based on our familys experience with Sodalis - Stone Oak, which began with Lori and Joseph, Im not at all surprised by the award and happy they are getting the recognition they deserve. After visiting several other communities we, including Mom, unanimously decided on Sodalis - Stone Oak and apparently Memory.Care.com confirmed our findings. The memory care staff especially Mr. Ricky, and Joseph is also involved during certain events, have been great with Mom and without asking have gone above & beyond to make Mom feel at home and part of the community. My sister and I truly feel blessed to have found Sodalis - Stone Oak Memory Care. If youre looking for memory care, they have assisted living as well, I highly recommend Sodalis - Stone Oak!

I couldnt recommend this place more! In this crazy world one thing I know for sure is that my daddy is cared for, loved and protected by an amazing, dedicated staff. The facility is beautiful- the nicest Ive ever seen. The food is very good and the chef takes pride in his role giving the residents options. There are daily activities and frequent outings and the residents themselves are warm, welcoming and friendly.

I moved my mother, then aged 66 years old, here in May 2018. Jake and Casey went to see my mom in a geriatric psych facility to evaluate her and were very gracious and compassionate. at first mom had a hard time adjusting to life here. she would move her things to the door, just like most Alz residents I suppose. Then around July 2018 she started to settle in. Of course, she was on meds then too. I would visit her quite regularly, about 3x, month, to take her out to lunch or for a drive. Initially Sodalis had told me they would take the memory care residents out for drives, and I think they did do this with mom a few times. But it didnt last, sadly. My mother deteriorated very quickly. By December 2018 she was no longer smiling and was on pureed foods. She started to shuffle as well, and whispered alot. Sodalis just rolled with it. Other than a larger outdoor area, I cannot think of one thing I would change about mine and my moms experience at Sodalis. The ladies and men that work there treat the residents like their own family. Mom passed in June 2019. I miss my mom desperately, and if I could do it all again, the only thing I would skip is putting her at Autumn Grove before making the move to Sodalis. I looked at lots of places for mom, and this facility was by far the best for the price we were paying.

In a whirlwind and dire effort to find the very best place for my Father to continue to thrive in his retirement years I found Sodalis at Stone Oak. My Father and I were met with a wonderful staff of professionals led by Joseph who immediately made my Father feel at home.The home is just that a home! I highly recommend a visit when searching for place for you loved one. This has been a true blessing to our family.

The aides here are incredibly cheery, respectful, and energetic! Management was very unresponsive and hard to get a hold of several times but they hire fantastic aides, which was most important for my grandparents. The residents seem to have great relationships with each other and are welcoming and friendly. The interior is bright and clean.
