Mom is happy there. Smiling a lot now. Has friends. Food looked good and staff are caring and helpful. The only advise I have is a community phone time so families can talk to love ones who can't have personal phones.

AvilaCare Assisted Living and Memory Care is a wonderful facility. My grandmother has been in the facility. My grandmother can be a hand full at times.Every time I ask for them to do something for my grandmother they go out of the way to help. The admission director Andy is incredibly empathetic, thoughtful and attentive to the residents' and their families needs. He ensures that residents receive the proper care they deserve. I would absolutely recommend this center to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place for their loved one.

I can say that without a doubt, this has been a great experience we've had with Avila facility. The staff has been very attentive to our needs, and first rate care of our mom. They have bee flexible and accommodating as mom's mental stages and physical needs have changed so much since she first moved there. So many positive things to say about this community and the staff - first rate. Highly recommend!!

When I first walked through AvilaCare I knew it was the place for my husband. It's a smaller facility with an "at home" atmosphere. The staff is friendly and take excellent care of each resident. Also the food is wonderful. I could not have chosen a more suitable place! Karen

This has been a long overdue rating/review for me. My mother has been with AvilaCare for about 10 months and we have been more than pleased. I had my mother in another facility for about 3 years. I was okay with the care she was receiving, and was thinking okay was about the best I could hoped for. Let's face it, placing a loved one in assisted living/memory care is heart breaking as it is ever ever going to be perfect. On my mother's annual review in her prior facility. the rates increased drastically. I was told they would increase even more the next year. This left me to have to make the difficult decision once again regarding my mother's care. Luckily we found AvilaCare. AvilaCare has shown me that accepting ok doesn't have to be. The constant communication with the owner and his expectations of his staff are amazing. The staff goes above just doing their job. They truly do care and give the residents the individual attention to make them feel special each and every day. This is not a facility, but a place of love and compassion. Never have I witnessed such caring and compassion from each and every staff member. Everyone is truly a professional. Every day the place smells clean and fresh. There are only 12 rooms in her building, so it is small and quaint. My mother tells me the food is really good and that staff is really nice to her. I must admit, I love coming in and seeing the cook pealing potatoes and taking food in and out of the oven. That is exactly how you would want to cook for your loved one. God does work in mysterious ways, as I don't know that I would ever have left our previous facility. Trust me when I say he truly had his hand in leading us to AvilaCare.

We placed my Mom here in July as her Alzheimers progressed and her Assisted Living facility could not provide the level of care she needed. We checked out several facilities and picked Good life for the small community set up. We are extremely pleased with the facility and believe that the caregivers and managers are very committed and are doing an excellent job. I would recommend this facility for memory care. The reviews suggest some type of change in management so they must have had some problems under prior management but we are very confident in the current staff and their attentiveness and commitment.

No assisted living is home but with a small resident count the workers know the people and their families. It feels like home. The residents are well carried for and the staff is very caring.... 4, 23, 2020 I have decided to edit my review. Here are my true thoughts. I tried to care for mother at home. I worked myself into a frazzle. I finally gave up. I am very thankful for Good life Assisted Living. They have allowed me to be her daughter again. Now I go and visit with her, staff stops and visits with me, I know what is going on there, the staff is happy, she is happy, I am happy. Its not home but it feels like home.
