I was so impressed with this Sunrise location from the moment I walked in. It is beautiful and has so many wonderful features to it including the dining room, game room, snack area, library, outdoor area and I could go on and on. The apartment is so nice and welcoming as you walk in to see the kitchen with its granite counter tops, the living room with its spacious area and the bedroom which has plenty of room also. The bathroom is so nice and big with the shower that has a nice seat. I couldn’t think of a better place for my loved one. So happy with it. Almost forgot one of the most important parts of this Sunrise location, the people and staff that work there are the kindest and nicest people I have met. They all smile, are so helpful and make you feel welcome at all times. The sales team was exceptionally good, so caring and accommodating at all times. Overall excellent.

We just moved my Grandma from Florida up here to the memory care unit. It was a hard transition for many reasons but the staff at Sunrise have been very patient and understanding. I visit almost every day and Grandma has acclimated to her new home due to the staff empathy and encouragement.

There are no words to express my gratitude to Sunrise. My father suffered a fall and a fracture, and we needed a short-term assisted living community quickly. The level of efficiency, attention, and warmth we received from our very first call with Kristine was incredible. They went above and beyond in literally every detail, even including some decorative accents for my father's room so he would feel more at home, since everything happened so quickly. Every single person who has interacted with my father is not only highly qualified but absolutely outstanding in their caring manner.The facility is impeccable, bar none and I consider myself very persnickety.It is hard to fit into a single review every accommodation they made for us, or to name all the wonderful people who showed so many amazing gestures toward my dad. I 100% recommend Sunrise of Prospect Heights to anyone who loves their family and wants them in a safe, spotless, and loving place.

My father moved in after a medical crisis and a hospital/rehab stay. He has been in the facility 8+ months. Other than some complaints about the food, he seems pretty happy. He has met good people, and receives pretty good care. My main concern is staff turnover!!

Our Mom and Dad both at different times lived at Sunrise of Prospect Heights. The facility is extremely clean, and the pricing is very reasonable. Many of the staff treated our parents like they were their own. The food is very good. The medical staff is also attentive to their needs. The facility has a wide breadth of services including, talk therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and others. The facility has a nice family dining room that you can borrow. We have used it for Christmas, birthdays and other special events. It has a beautiful court yard in the back that when weather permits, our father has used to take in the sun and recharge his battery. The staff demonstrates that they care for our father's well being and they make the effort to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Placing a parent in any facility is not an easy decision, but when it is necessary, we recommend Sunrise of Prospect Heights.

As a third party vendor who has worked in various older adult settings, I must say that Sunrise of Prospect Heights is one of the best facilities I’ve ever partnered with. The building is kept in immaculate condition, the apartments are enormous, and best of all, the entire staff is extremely attentive to its residents. I’ve observed on multiple occasions, the staff going out of their way to assist a resident, regardless of the request. Additionally, I’ve seen residents thrive while living here, many of them growing in confidence and independence in all areas of living. It’s this type of attention to care and willingness for the staff to go above and beyond the call of duty that truly separates Sunrise of PH from so many other senior living options. Can’t recommend them enough!

My mother used Sunrise of Prospect Heights for a respite stay as we transitioned her housing after a medical emergency. This was the easiest, and best, decision that we could have made. The facilities are immaculate, the staff warm and welcoming, and the nursing care far exceeds many of the other facilities we engaged with. The decision to place a family member in a facility, even if for a short amount of time, is a deeply personal one that requires much deliberation. If you find yourself at this stage, I strongly recommend you consider Sunrise of Prospect Heights. The living and social quarters are beautiful, the food is great, the staff is caring, and the residents happily engage. I encourage anyone considering this to research costs. We found this facility to be not only fair, but a great value considering all of the services provided.

My 95 year old sister took a nasty fall and broke a leg and an arm about three months ago. I was told by many doctors that she would have to move into hospice at a nursing home when she was done with rehab. After many hours of researching nursing homes I was encouraged by my son to check out the Sunrise facility in Prospect Heights. Not only is my sister NOT in hospice, but she is blossoming and loving her new home at Sunrise! I couldn’t be more thankful for the staff and the executives who have restored the miracle of dignity and care that they are giving my sister at this stage in her life! The world does have good people! And they are working at Sunrise of Prospect Heights!

Couldn’t be happier with how my mom was treated during the three weeks she spent in the memory care at Sunrise of Prospect Heights while I had to be out of town. It was our first experience with having to put our trust in someone other than ourselves to look after my mom and from start to finish we couldn’t be happier. They kept her involved in the daily activities and took care of all her needs. I was able to personally text with Mahesh with any concerns and he responded immediately and took care of my needs. We brought my mom back home yesterday and this morning she couldn’t stop talking about how nice everyone there was to her. Thank you to all who made hers and our first experience a great one! We will definitely be bringing her back again in the future if needed.

I did A LOT of research to find a great assisted living place for my dad! Aspired Living checked every box. They are adequately staffed with people who really care about the residents. Great variety of activities for mental and physical health with resident input. Food is excellent-both for choices and quality. Apartments are good size, common spaces welcoming and on site amenities everything you need. My dad is thriving and happy. Highly recommend checking out this wonderful place for seniors who need assisted living. It is a gem! I originally posted the review above 2 years ago, and after my dad just celebrated his 3 years anniversary of moving to Sunrise, I thought others could benefit from hearing more about our great experience there since then. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and really kind. The sort of people I want to have caring for my dad in his mid-nineties. They support his needs while respecting his independence, and coordinate and communicate with me very effectively and regularly. I’m convinced being at Sunrise with the quality of care, engaging activities and opportunities to interact with staff and other residents has helped my dad maintain his cognitive abilities. The quality of the facility itself is notable. My dad gets his hair cut at the onsite salon, enjoys good food in the dining room, engages in group activities in the community room, and thanks to having a well equipped fitness center dad has maintained his balance and barely needs even a cane to walk around. This place strikes the right balance of being big enough to offer important services and spaces without being too overwhelming in size for my dad to navigate. I continue to highly recommend Sunrise of Prospect Heights. I have peace of mind because my dad is well cared for there.

We wanted to keep my mom at home for as long as possible. It was incredibly hard to find a place for her when I could no longer care for her myself. We wanted something that was nice and clean, cheerful and most of all, where she would receive the kind of care I had been giving her. I knew the minute I walked into Aspired Living that we'd found her home. She loved it as much as I did. The building is spotless and very modern, the food is good, the activities are great, but most of all the residents are incredibly warm and welcoming. The staff is amazing and kind, not to mention highly competent. I never doubted that the care she was getting was the best possible. And although it was an adjustment for her not to be at home with us, she felt so welcomed and spoiled there. She was worried I was being extravagant, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. The place is just such a great value. Her accommodations were lovely and her care was excellent. I couldn't have asked for anything more for her.

They don't use their own staff. It's agency staff. My mom was in memory care. Everytime I visited her the staff was different which was confusing for everyone. The staff often spoke a different language amongst themselves while sitting with the residents during mealtimes. All residents were parked in front of the TV during the day. They didn't want them in their rooms cause "they needed to keep an eye on them." So naps were in their chairs. There was no activity director for memory care during my mom's stay. My mom went to the hospital in November. We moved everything out the day before Thanksgiving. She couldn't go back for medical reasons. We're still waiting for the refund. All in all - beautiful facility but wouldn't recommend it.

Make no mistake about it. This place is a shining beacon in the midst of stormy seas. My 95 year old Mom is a resident of Knew Day Memory Support here at Aspired Living. She has resided there since October of 2019. I was first drawn to considering Aspired Living for Mom because of the brightness, cheerfulness and warm layout of he facilities, not to mention how spacious and well laid out the large . studio residences were in the Knew Day Memory Support Wing. The Assisted Living Side is also beautiful--almost beyond description. Before Covid I used to take Mom over there periodically to dine or enjoy Friday night Happy Hour. The best part, though, was getting to know the Care Team there. That was not as immediately apparent as the beautiful building. It didn't take long, though to realize how caring and cheerful the entire team was in supporting and loving on the residents. They have a wonderful activities calendar that really keeps the residents feeling a part OF, instead of APART FROM. The transition for Mom was tough at times, but the consistency of the message that she was special and that she mattered carried the day. It's been hard for me to NOT visit her for the last 8 months, but Mom still feels connected to us because the team there has been creative in alternative ways to communicate. We do a few phone calls a week, and also use a video app. known as Marco Polo to exchange videos. This was their idea and I love it. You can't put a price tag on the security of knowing that your loved one is safe first and foremost, but also that she is happy and content in her new home. WE owe a debt of gratitude for a place that is thriving in these tough times.
