It is disappointing when people make negative claims that do not reflect what I have personally observed. Every time I visit Mullica Garden, regardless of the time or day, I see residents being well cared for. They are served a variety of meals Not Just Cold Sandwiches as some claimed. The facility has it own chef, and I constantly see different food option available. The facility is clean and well maintained during my visits, I often see cakes, fresh fruits, , snacks and other refreshments available for the residents. I don't understand why anyone would want to damage the reputation of this facility. My personal experience has been consistently positive and I believe it's important for people to base their opinions on facts or firsthand observation.

My loved one is constantly complaining about the very poor quality of the food offered on top of having trouble adjusting to AL. I am very concerned and heart broken by this. No one answers phone calls or emails in response to any issues as well. I was told no special diets are offered by the nurse. I know other residents are complaining to management and staff to deaf ears which is awful and neglectful especially since they are at the end of their lives. Do better especially for what it costs. It's not like they are young enough to prepare their own.

Beautiful facility and staff!! It’s a pleasure to teach chair Zumba to the residents once a week . They have SO mu ch fun! I would recommend this place for anyone. Love it!!!!

The community is very pretty and clean, But the food is very poor quality, sandwiches 2X a day and no fresh vegetables or meat. The food should be nutritious and fresh. Sandwiches for lunch and dinner. No fresh vegetables and a lot of breaded food. Sauces and spices should be on the side.

Before putting your loved one into the hands of Mulica Hill Gardens Please be aware of how understaffed they are which ends up causing many issues For your loved one, Multiple people on our loved ones floor had C diff infection, What is that telling you? Lack of help is a serious issue and can be a game changer when keeping your loved ones safe. Definitely things you don’t think about at first glance, also how unhealthy the food actually is -In this facility, there is a lack of home-cooked, Well balanced meals, Our loved one was paying over $8000 per month to be given a cold cut sandwich as the best dinner option. Also, their idea of activities are giving the adults, alcohol, sweets, and sometimes playing bingo. not very good for the majority that have diabetic issues. The ladies that work, there are sweet, but It is Overwhelming for them. The owners are just looking to make as much money as they possibly can by under staffing. It’s very clear. And lastly, how actually heartless they truly are that we never even received a call or a sympathy card when our loved one passed. As we received cards from Inspira hospital and their nurses that she spent two weeks with. Mulica Hill Gardens is Disgraceful and We Will do our homework and then some next time we Have to make a choice like this.

We had the opportunity to volunteer at Mullica Garden Assisted Living. We were so amazed at how well the staff treated us. We had so much fun interacting with the residents and they appeared to be happy and well taken care of. The community is nice and clean. Great place to volunteer!

I have a loved one in this community, and each time I visit, he is genuinely happy and consistently speaks very highly of the staff. The facility is always clean, well maintained and free of any unpleasant odors.

This community is understaffed! I don't believe they want to pay the staff a decent salary, so they cannot keep any decent staff. They are not being fed a nutritional diet. I believe, by law, they are supposed to be fed a balanced and nutritional diet. Their food is supposed to be healthy and balanced. Hot meals are supposed to be served hot. Coffee is supposed to be served hot, and they should have condiments on the tables such as cream for their coffee, salt, pepper, etc. The owners need to step up for the residents and families who pay so much to have quality care. I don't think a lot of thought goes into taking care of the staff or the residents. My mother's microwave has been broken for several weeks now, and no-one has repaired or replaced it. There is no excuse for that! They need to either buy a new one or repair the one that is there. Things like this should be done within a reasonable amount of time such as a day or two. Whatever they were fed today (12/19/25) for lunch was inedible! The people who are in charge should have to eat this crap, so they know how horrible it is. You need to get a chef and serve decent food. Dinner should be served with a salad. It should also be served with decent vegetables and a desert. There should be fruit available every day, all day. You could have bowls with apples, pears, bananas and other fruits. They just are not being fed a balanced and nutritional diet, and something needs to be done about this. I have called the facility to talk to someone about my concerns numerous times and I never get a person. When I leave a message, no-one calls me back. If the residents need to reach someone, there is very rarely ever anyone there.

Just because the decor and aesthetics are nice, doesnt mean all the care follows. The owners need to step up for the residents and families who pay so much to have quality care.

The care staff are kind and helpful, the rooms and common spaces seem very clean. Laundry is done twice a week and rooms are carefully cleaned weekly by a very pleasant woman. There are a decent amount of onsite activities, salon services, therapies, etc. A few things that need improvement are the loud call for help sirens that are startling and unnerving to hear. The food unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired according to Mom and others which is very disappointing and concerning. For those at the end of their life, food is one of their last joys plus nutrition is so important.
