As a family member I'm so grateful The Aspenwood Company has purchased this facility and the residents are finally receiving the love, care and attention they very much deserve (and pay for). The previous owners, Harbor Chase, had written us off and left the executive staff without support allowing them to flounder, trying to keep the residents and families happy. Now I am relieved to see Aspenwood corporate in the building regularly supporting our executive staff and making the much needed improvements with the building and increasing staff. I see improvements every time I visit which makes me very happy. I'm looking forward to seeing Village on the Park McKinney become the beautiful, flourishing senior community it was always meant to be Thank to the staff that stayed with us through it all. It's been a rough year and things are finally getting better

Shelli whom sits at the front desk is a genuinely amazing person. She cares about the wellbeing of the residents and she goes above and beyond when there is something that needs attention. I hope they give this beautiful soul a raise for all her dedication. You don't find good employees like her often.

Harbor Chase is heads above the others for Sr. Living care. From your first contact with Cory, to meeting Crystal, the head nurse to Ashley, the GM, to the front desk staff, to the kitchen staff to the caregivers and nurses ...there are not enough positive words to describe what an exceptional experience they provide for the seniors who are lucky enough to call this place home. Our father lived here for 14 months and needed a fairly high level of care and they were exceptional at providing and communicating all the things he required. We could not have asked for a better or more compassionate God filled place for him to call his final home here on earth.

My 83-year-old mother has been a resident of Harbor Chase for at least three years. While all retirement homes struggled during Covid, Harbor Chase came through with flying colors- and continues to do so. They provide fun activities, plenty of music, monthly festivals, love family visitors, and the staff is incredibly compassionate and love what they do! The location is incredibly close to our home and is somewhat of a boutique residence, exactly what we were looking for with assisted living for my mom. You pay a good penny for what you get, but I would highly recommend checking out Harbor Chase!

Austin was the acting director last weekend and was a tremendous help to me and my 88 year old mother. His compassion, concern and excellent communication skills were instrumental in making a sensitive situation so much easier for my mother. This place is really AMAZING! From the time you walk in the front door, the greeting we received by the Receptionist was VERY WELCOMING & HOSPITABLE!!! She took the time to not only acknowledge us, but made sure that she accommodated us by asking us if we would care for a cold beverage, (it was extremely hot outside that day) & then took the time to ask & make sure that she was addressing our questions to get us to the right person(s)! The Director came out shortly after being called & gave us a VERY WARM WELCOME & then proceeded to show us around the BEAUTIFUL FACILITY! While we were touring Harbor Chase, the Director of Nursing, stopped what she was doing & introduced herself. She was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, as well! She was EXTREMELY WARM & FRIENDLY, & VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about the facility and ALL OF THE RESIDENTS! She explained to us how all of the staff TRULY CARES for all of the residents there, just like FAMILY, & ALWAYS LOVE to go above & beyond to meet all of their needs, and some! The dining area(s) were VERY clean, organized & very inviting! The residents rooms (that we were able to see) were really nice sized rooms, & the residents all seemed to be VERY COMFORTABLE & HAPPY there. I was REALLY IMPRESSED with our entire visit! This facility is EXACTLY where I would have COMPLETE PEACE OF MIND putting my loved one, KNOWING that they would be cared for 24/7! We are in the process of relocating our loved ones & once we get their financials squared away, we will be filling out the paperwork for them to come live at Harbor Chase McKinney!

All of the caregivers truly care for every single resident and will do anything they can to help. Larry and I toured Harbor Chase-McKinney with his mother yesterday and we knew we had found the perfect place for her when we saw how excited she was with her apartment. She sat in with a group of ladies putting together baskets for teachers and before long she fit right in and was talking and laughing.

HarborChase has been such a blessing for our family. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we were in a place with caring people. The staff has been amazing. From the first tour of the building to move in day, they were most helpful. Sloan made they change from our previous assisted living to HC seamless with the insurance company. The level of care is unsurpassed. The food is surprisingly great for an assisted living. That has been one of the most refreshing changes from the previous facility. I highly recommend HarborChase.

My best friend spent a little over three months at this excellent facility before succumbing to his illness. The entire staff, Ashley, Andrea, Shelley, Pat, Tamara, Sloan, Richard, and Darius all took my friend under their wings and made his last days as comfortable as possible. I have had previous experiences with my own family at several similar facilities and the all fail miserably in comparison. While I hope that my wife and I never have to take advantage of this kind of care, neither of us would want to be anywhere but Harbor Chase McKinney. When I realized that our loved one needed assisted-living care, I began the search. My desires for a good facility were broad and many, but I wasnt about to settle for second best. Here is a partial list of my criteria: Cleanliness, good food, varied activities and outings, committed staff, complete levels of care available as residents age, on-site nurse, community involvement, family interaction and the list goes on. Of course, the price each month had to be reasonable. I looked at 15 different facilities in the Richardson, Dallas and Plano areas. I saw places I would never let my loved one go into. I worried that my loved ones needs and my standards were never going to be met at a fair price. Then one day I visited HarborChase in McKinney. This facility was exactly what I had been looking for and more. As we toured around and I met several staff members, I was struck by the happiness and positive atmosphere created there. It was comfortable to be around everyone and I knew right away this was the place I could trust to take over caring for our familys loved one. After a long meeting with the executive staff, all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. We then took our loved one to check out the place and look at a beautiful studio apartment with a patio. He was hooked immediately and HarborChase became his home and our second home. We have never looked back, and our entire family is so grateful to the caring staff for always, every day, going the extra mile to ensure everything promised to us is delivered. Vicki Moore 5 stars
