Ivy Park is one of the best Senior living communities out in the Southbay area. Their staff is wonderful, so helpful and every time you walk in there I feel so welcoming. They have such great care and would definitely recommend this community to anyone who is looking for a higher level of care with their love ones.

Today was Hawaii Day at Ivy Park and we had Hula Dancers and an unbelievable luau with a real roasted pig. My wife and I are both retired Military and love being residents where there are other Military people. The staff is extraordinary and are willing to go above and beyond to meet resident's needs. We love the ambiance of Ivy Park and everything that entails. The food here is overseen by a Michelin grade chef. The Activities Director plans in-house activities as well as off campus excursions for entertainment and shopping. We are happy we made the choice to become residents of Ivy Park at Otay Ranch.

My parent lives on the Evergreen Memory Care side. The level of care given on a daily basis is amazing. The devotion and compassion of the Care staff and Director of Memory Care, Jael, to each resident is exactly what I was looking for in placing my parent in this type of facility. It is so comforting to have this fabulous team looking after my parent, as if their very own parent. Jael and the Team truly connect with each resident and anticipate each Resident's needs. The Care team exceeds my expectations daily and their incredible teamwork is the secret to their success. Thank you Evergreen Team.

My father has been a resident at Ivy Park since October. He has a perfect studio apartment for his needs. We were lucky to have him there when Angela became the new Director around November. She has made a lot of changes for the better of the residents. Lydia & Victor are amazing as the Activities Director and Victor is so awesome as the Bus Driver and bartender for all the fun parties for the residents. The food in the dining area gives quite a few choices for the "picky eaters" like my dad. With all the issues from the pandemic the caregivers, waiters and waitresses scramble to do their best to keep residents happy. We are so lucky to have found Ivy Park for my Dad. Keep up the hard work Angela and staff! We are so grateful!

I currently have a parent living at Ivy Park at Otay Ranch. I am so pleased with the love and support my parent receives here. If any issues arise, I do not hesitate to reach out to Angie, the Executive Director, and she always responds within just minutes with a workable solution. It is very comforting to know that Angie is so in tune and connected with the staff in resolving issues. The rest of the staff is also amazing and incredibly helpful on a daily basis, from the Reception team, to the devoted Care Givers and Med Techs. During an incredibly challenging time of our lives, I truly feel we receive wonderful service from the Ivy staff.

sienna otay ranch is my second home, I call it Home than work, I loved coming to work and looking forward seeing my residents as they are dear to my heart as my love ones . I was always ask why I chose to work in this field, simple they are my Grandparents I never had the chance to be withI grew up in another country and my grandparents all died before I ever came to America, everyday is a blessing to me serving them, care for them knowing that they are well taken care off. I loved to hang around with them Listening to their life experiences, Life stories, I call it wisdom. Its so comforting to have lots of grandma and granpa in my second home. it fills up the empty spot in my heart not having the chance to be with grandparents growing up, I found in here.

Amazing facility, excellent management, caring staff. Im blown a away at the passion they have for what they do. Very grateful for them! The cost schedule was based off of how much or how little care my dad needs and I thought that was comforting and and good to know. They were very transparent.

Both my parents reside at Sienna; they were some of the first to move in. They reside in the memory care unit and are thriving. Besides being a beautiful facility it is staffed with the most caring and knowledgeable people Ive ever had the pleasure to meet. My parents are treated with utmost respect and caring love which they extend to family as well. It is plain to see that the staff love their jobs AND the residents. They joke with them, read to them, play games and do puzzles with them, sit with them in the patio, do gardening with them, dance with them; life is not dull at Sienna. All this in addition to taking care of their physical needs.

My mother lived with me for over 15 years as she grew older. I was her caretaker for the last 4 years after ALZ diagnosis until the point where I felt I could not keep her safe. So I know what care entails. I did my due diligence: researched and toured 8 facilities and one boarding house facility before choosing a bright shiny mistake the first time out. Sometimes we must just buck up, realize mistakes and pay another entry fee. The correction to that mistake was Sienna and Im grateful everyday. Here is the criteria that makes me so happy with Sienna CLEANLINESS Very good here and not just the regular maintenance, housekeeping and laundry but the cleaning after accidents – this is so important not just for smells but for contagion. Mom ended up with c.dif at the other place because her Jack and Jill room mate kept having diarrhea accidents which werent fully cleaned up and sanitized for days. Sienna stays on top of this. which BTW, probably prepared them to do a great job with COVID. they are strict but it works. no cases. And they are kind, helping with window visits and bringing residents to the lobby when family wants to wave and talk thru the windows. MEALS Daniel, the chef, heads up the kitchen staff and creates delicious, well-balanced meals with alternatives always available so if Mom doesnt like fish theres always a hamburger or grilled cheese. I know this personally because I often ate there. Some of us kids got together and started family Sunday dinner. They allowed us to push tables together and have a party. Residents without visitors would also join. I felt like I had not just my mom but half a dozen extra moms or aunties. Sienna helped foster community not just for residents but for extended family as well. HONESTY and SCRUPLES
October 2020
The staff is courteous and keeps me updated on my parents. I am a nurse and moved my aging parents from Arizona to be closer to me. They coordinated between facilities during this difficult time during COVID.
October 2020
Having a parent with Alzheimers is profoundly challenging, and I feel supported and understood by the staff here. Mom loves the food and has made friends with other residents in the memory care facility. Since the Covid shutdown, I have not been able to be in the same room with my mom. But the staff has sent me pictures of her gardening and socializing, and that has made a huge difference in my own emotional health, as being unable to hug her or hold her has been agonizing. They havent had a single case of Covid in the facility though, so I know they are being rigorous in their measures to ward it off. I wholeheartedly recommend Sienna to anyone who is considering a place for their parent.
September 2020
In my culture, it is not a common practice to place elderly parents in a care facility. However, my fathers Parkinsons and related dementia were actively progressing. My father had reached a stage of over-medicating himself which exacerbated his symptoms. His gait became more unsteady, unbalanced, and he was a constant fall risk; he began hallucinating; his tremors worsened; he refused to eat; his sleep was nonexistent, and he was in a state of constant confusion. As his primary caretaker, I was beyond overwhelmed and exhausted. I could no longer provide the type of care he required. For his own personal safety and for the sake of my sanity and well-being, I decided to look for an alternate living arrangement.

I cant say enough great things about Sienna. Number 1 is the staff. Fantastic! They have all the corners covered to make sure All of the residents are happy, and healthy. Our mom is well, adjusted quickly, and that was all due to the staffs gentle introduction into the community. The residents are wonderful, and know they are in the best place in San Diego. The sales team were great communicators, helped us (the children) stay informed about everything including costs (which are reasonable), and how the transition would take place. Ruby is a gem, and makes sure we are updated even though we couldnt visit during the COVID period. The chef and kitchen staff... outstanding. This is Not hospital food. Its great. I love lunching with mom. The facility is clean, spacious, and well appointed. Activities are fun, and go around the clock. If you need any other info to make your decision, feel free to reach out directly to me.

Hospice care is a remarkable government supported service
June 2020
Our father has been living at Sienna in the Memory Care area for the last 8 months. We toured many facilities, looking specifically for a new home in which he could bring his cat. We are so pleased at our decision to move dad to Sienna. Both the cat and our father have adjusted well to this new home. First of all its a beautiful facility, open and spacious with courtyards for enjoying the outdoors and gardening activities.
February 2020
Out of all the things in my life I have researched; surgeons, home loans, insurances, vehicles, etc..., I have never researched something as much as a home to settle my father in. Its one of the single most important decisions I have made in my life. After several months and over 25 plus visits to various senior living facilities, I made the decision to go with Sienna and I have without a doubt made the right decision. The care and effort displayed by the staff is genuine.

July 2019
The wonderful care my friend received from the staff at Sienna in the final days of her life can not be over stated. They followed through at every turn and made a difficult situation better. Brittney and Ruby are a treasure.
June 2019
My mother became very ill after a long battle with cancer. Her care became too difficult for my father to manage on his own. She was brought to the hospital when things became very dire. Despite realizing that she was near death, Sharp hospital would not approve her for their hospice homes. Because we wanted her to have comfort care, they strongly recommended we find a place for her and recommended boarding homes. After my father and I went to visit a couple of these, we were appalled at their conditions, the attitude of the care givers, as well as the out of pocket expense for such an undesirable place. In good conscience, we could not place my dying mother there. As luck would have it, a hospice Chaplin recommended Sienna. The moment we arrived we knew this was someplace special. Not only was it beautiful, but Ruby (the acting director, and Brittany (in charge of admissions) were unbelievably wonderful. They didnt see my mom as a sick comatose woman, but rather wanted to know the lovely woman she had been. The contrast from the boarding homes was extraordinary and brought my father and I to tears. Oddly, the price was comparable.
