price increases and a la carte charges make it less afordable. Mom had spotty care when she was bed bound and needed frequent visits from us to insure proper care. Does not seem to be adequately staffed. They were good when she was mobile but when she fell and could not stand the level of service suffered. They said they could take care of her after a fall but was disapointed in service after that happened. Overall there were enough issues that I cannot recommend them for long care treatments.

Our experience with Alto Stuart had been overall wonderful. Kaitlyn Oteri, the Executive Director and Elizabeth Olsen, Head of Nursing in particular have been so very supportive and attentive to our sister's mental, physical, medical needs and working with us with complicated financial restrictions. They have gone above and beyond on working with our family to get the best and most tailored care for our sister. We feel there genuine caring and interest in making this the best experience for our sister. Also, kudos to Araceli at reception for her warm and welcoming first impression as we enter Alto Stuart. Finally, Lorraine's steadfast social interaction planning keeps the community alive and engaged. Thank you for everyone at Alto Stuart for making this difficult transition in life hopeful and yes, even joyful.

Having a community that has compassion as a common denominator in each employee allows you to know that your loved one is in great hands! I ventured into this facility a few times a year for the last seven years or so. It was always "just ok", or "acceptable ", but now that Elizabeth is the DON this facility has transformed into the most caring and professional facility Ive ever seen in my medical career. If your loved ones need help you will feel they are in safe, loving hands that not only care about what they do but they care for the people they work for. What Elizabeth has changed to make her residents happy is working and the staff reflects this love.

My mother in law lived at Alto Stuart for 2 years. She started off in assisted living and transferred over to memory care and was very well taken care of. My wife Lorraine is the Lifestyle Director there and truly enjoys her job and thrives to be a part of a great team! Alto Stuart renovations made this Assisted Living feel like home. The clinical team has a new Nurse Director Elizabeth. She is most helpful with any questions about assisted living lifestyle. She actually takes her time and makes sure families understand. If there's a question she can't answer she doesn't hesitate to find the right person that can. The food is wonderful the dining room is quaint. The courtyard is beautiful! Take a tour! Any of the directors will walk around the property with you!

I have had the pleasure of entertaining at Alto of Stuart many times, and have met so many wonderful people associated with this extremely well organized residency. The activity lifestyle director Lorraine is a one of a kind, caring person, who in my opinion, always strives for the best well being and care of the resident's, that she cares for. The staff is exceptional, and as I have witnessed, are always close by, if any one of the residents need them, for any reason at all. Elizabeth The director of nursing specializes in geriatric and senior living. She loves her work. Alto rooms are spacious and you feel right at home. The clinical team is excellent and they have great teamwork with dining and housekeeping. Beautifully renovated! Alto Stuart will wow you as soon as you step inside the lobby.

"My father was a Korean War Veteran a resident at Alto of Stuart Senior Living, and the care he received was absolutely deplorable. The facility allowed a urinary tract infection to fester, which ultimately led to his death from kidney failure. Additionally, the staff dropped him in the shower, resulting in a broken back. Over the past year, the facility has had four new directors and countless staff replacements and resignations, reflecting a severe lack of stability and competent management. I would strongly advise anyone considering this facility for their loved ones to look elsewhere. The health and safety of your family member are not guaranteed at Alto."

FROM THE MOMENT THAT MY HUSBAND AND I STARTED LOOKING AT PLACES FOR MY FATHER IN LAW, WE FOUND A LOT OF THINGS THAT WE DID NOT LIKE AND WERE VERY UNCLEAR OF. MY HUSBAND MADE A PHONE CALL AND SPOKE WITH MARY. MY HUSBAND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOING ON. HE FELT VERY CONFIDENT THAT WE FOUND A GREAT PLACE FOR HIS DAD. WE WENT AND LOOKED AT ALTO OF STUART 2 WEEKS AGO. MARY SAT WITH US FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS AND EVERY QUESTION THAT WE HAD SHE KNEW THE ANSWER WITHOUT HESITATION OR I DO NOT KNOW THAT ANSWER AND I WILL HAVE TO GET BACK TO YOU. SHE WAS SO ON POINT AND EVEN THOUGH MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SOME WHAT KNOWLEDGEABLE SHE JUST MADE IT EVEN BETTER. NOW IT WAS TIME TO BRING DAD IN TO LOOK AROUND. DAD HAD SOME CONCERNS, HE SAT WITH MARY. MARY SHE MADE HIM FEEL SO COMFORTABLE AND TOOK HIM AROUND TO 3 DIFFERENT APARTMENTS ON THE 3RD APARTMENT MY FATHER IN LAW DECIDED THIS WAS THE PLACE HE WANTED TO GO. MARY TOOK US TO THE DINING ROOM FOR DINNER AND HE LOVED THE FOOD. THE LOVE AND CARE THAT WAS SHOWN TO US THROUGH OUT THIS WHOLE PROCESS WAS AMAZING AND CANNOT WAIT FOR MY FATHER IN LAW TO START THE NEXT CHAPTER IN HIS LIFE…. What an amazing transformation this Assisted Living and Memory Care community has made! Not only have they painted, laid all new carpeting , added lovely furnishings and lighting but brought in a brand new RESIDENT ORIENTED and caring staff as well. Never have I entered the community when a staff member was not interacting with a resident. The entire team from Admin Staff to Dining are all involved in the wellbeing of their residents. Kudos to the new team and I can't wait to see the Memory Care renovations completed soon!!

My mother was only in Alto for two weeks before she had a stroke and passed three weeks later. The staff hadn't had time to really know mom or me, but everyone took care of her as if they knew her for ages. From the nurses, to the wait staff, to the housecleaners, to the directors and more- everyone showed patience, kindness and geniune caring for my mom and myself. I wouldnt have gotten through it without their kindness.

My mother is there permanently now after 2 respite care stays. After 3 weeks she seems to be happy and accepting. She is attending various social events and meeting other residents. She is immobile and requires assistance in a wheelchair. The employees are attentive and friendly. Sales, maintenance, entertainment employees, waitresses and others made her transition easier. She compliments the food and cheerful updated surroundings.

My dad recently passed away but he was fortunate enought to be able to live the last three years of his life at Stuart Lodge. The staff took wonderful care of him and many times went above and beyond. Every time I went to visit him, I would see how the staff took the time to make sure the residents had fun things to do and were treated with kindness & respect. Thank you, Stuart Lodge for making my dad's last few years comfortable, safe & with a sense of community.

My mother was recently a resident there and had an extremely positive experience. All the staff was so kind and personable to each resident. They genuinely care about all the residents and go out of their way to assure their comfort and work to assist their transition to their new housing arrangement. The Lodge has a warm and comfortable feel with a well-done beach decor that fits into the area and not a traditional cookie-cutter assisted living facility that you could find in any region of the country. And, it is conveniently located in the heart of Stuart. The Lodge is definitely worth your consideration when searching for an assisted living facility for yourself or your loved ones.

Being a health care provider, I have had the opportunity to visit many assisted living facilitys, Stuart Lodge is by far SUPERIOR to any others I have seen. The staff is unbeatable, and are graciously at your service whenever needed. The food is definitely a five star dining experience. Stuart Lodge is the cleanest facility I have visited. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone who is looking for an assisted living.
