I Love the Yellow Brick House. Ms. Humera is a beautiful soul. Ms. Kay brings sunshine when she plays the piano for the residents. Loving staff. Huge porch with rockers to enjoy the Georgia Sun and sit outside with your family.

My Aunt has stayed at the Yellow Brick house several times for respite care. The nursing staff and owner were incredibly compassionate and made sure my love one was comfortable. Finding a good and safe place for a love one can be difficult. However the staff and owner made it easy for me leave my Aunt in their care. The facility is kept very clean and administration is always helpful, smiling and responsive to questions. Thank you!!

I was referred to Yellow Brick House and it was the best thing that could have happened to me and my mother. My mother has Dementia and my dad just passed away in October and I’m an only child so it was very difficult. From the staff to the ED it has been a very pleasant and rewarding experience.

My sister suffered an unexpected and rapid mental decline and needed to be placed into a personal care facility until I could find a permanent nursing home for her. Yellow Brick House was a Godsend. The entire staff and the director, Humera Clark, went above and beyond caring for my sister. They definitely exceeded my expectations and I would be more than happy to recommend Yellow Brick House if you have an aging loved one who needs personal care.

Before we met Humera and her team at Yellow Brick House, we were completely overwhelmed by the process of moving my father (who has dementia and several other health challenges) into a home where he could receive the care he needed. Humera guided us through every step, helping us navigate what felt impossible and making the transition smoother for both my father and our family. When I first met her, she told me, We are not about chandeliers and fancy d©cor; we are all about the care. She meant every word. The level of care has been absolutely incredible from the chef to the med tech, to the staff, and the director. And while there may not be chandeliers, it’s always spotless, warm, and cozy. The staff is consistently welcoming and friendly, always in regular communication with us, and quick to respond”something that is so important when caring for a loved one with complex needs. I highly recommend Yellow Brick House for anyone seeking compassionate, attentive, and professional care for their loved ones.

My rating is based on almost one year that my wife has spent at the Yellow Brick House. I also have the advantage of comparing it with two different Therapy Centers that my wife has spent some time in because of a blood clot and knee replacement. This happened over the last 14 months. The Yellow Brick House is quieter, cleaner and has a family atmosphere. In the therapy centers my wife was treated sometimes more like a thing than a person. If I needed information it was not always easy to find out who to talk to. This is a problem with company owned businesses. You have to find out who is in charge. The Yellow Brick House is individually owned and I know that Humera is the one always in charge. It is not a Therapy Center, but there are exercise classes each week for those that are able. Also, family members are welcome to come to help their loved ones exercise. I can honestly say that my wife is stronger now than when she first came there. There are also a lot of activities planned for the patients. Is it perfect? Of course not. Problems arise anywhere and any care facility has the opportunity for many. But I know Humera will do her best to fix any that shows up. She will do it with compassion. I did not see a lot of compassion at the 2 Therapy Cecters

I've been my mother's sole caregiver since May 2021. The Yellow Brick house is in close proximity to my home, but that's not why I chose them. I stopped in one wknd without an appt. and the sign on the door advised that it was best to make an appt. While sitting in my car putting a reminder on my calendar to call to schedule a tour, an employee arrived. I asked her if an appt was required for a tour, and she said she believed it was. As I was finishing my reminder, she returned to my car and said her supervisor said it was OK to tour the facility that day. I walked in with her and was sold on the facility before even completing the tour. EVERY staff member I came in contact with was pleasant and professional. My mom was diagnosed with dementia so I'm very particular about leaving her with anyone other than family. The icing on the cake is that when I dropped my mom off, I didn't feel any anxiety at all! I fully expected to because I've never left her with anyone other than family. When I returned after her brief stay, she looked good, and it was clear that she adapted well to that environment. I highly recommend this facility to anyone that's in a situation similar to mine where there's no one to give you a break to regroup. I was able to relax and recharge, knowing my mother was in good hands. I'm beyond grateful to Ms. Humera and the entire staff. KUDOS!!

My husband was cared for at Yellow Brick House. He was in the Memory Care unit .The staff is phenomenal! They are caring and genuine. They are committed to providing the best care for their residents. I was impressed with the communication I received in regards to my husband’s care and well being. The Yellow Brick House with its welcoming big porch and pretty French doors, is a warm and friendly environment. My husband is in the memory care wing. The residents are treated with kindness and respect by all the caregivers. The Director keeps a close check on the residents and genuinely cares for their well-being. Her kindness and warm personality is apparent throughout Yellow Brick House. The manager is personable, caring and kind. Residents comfort and needs are a priority. She is prompt with a response to residents request. The management, the cleanliness, and the caring staff make Yellow Brick House an inviting, loving atmosphere.

Yellow brick house staff was excellent in the end of life care for mom. Safety was evident in the facility and they were open to feedback. We were very pleased with the environment and how they treated her with dignity and respect through her transition of passing.

Clean and safe. Rooms are large also the curb appeal is nice. The food, I’m told is very good and I have smelled the aroma from the kitchen. I would recommend this senior housing to others. Just keep up the good work.

The Yellow Brick House is a hidden gem. They took great care of my mother until she transitioned. They were very accommodating and adapted her environment to her every need. She was beloved there and they are still family to us. It is clean and well managed and I highly recommend the facility.

Our mom enjoyed her 3 month stay and was well cared for at The Yellow Brick House. It was easy for the family to work with the administrators, Humera and Natascha, and their care team. They were attentive to our mom's changing needs and flexible in adjusting her care plan accordingly. Mom said she particularly enjoyed getting her hair done and listening to the pianist who regularly visited. Thank you Humera, Natascha, and care team for all of your personal attention to our mom. Alzheimer’s has taken much from my mother n law over the past 6 years. Fortunately we had the best of care for her at The Yellowbrick House. She moved in during Covid but the staff made sure she lived in a safe environment. Not long after she was placed there the owners decided to sell- we were ready for the worst BUT Humera, the new owner, took the time to get to know us. She made sure the staff watched my mother n laws diet so her sugar stayed under control. She made improvements to the facility. She really cares and we thank her for all she did to help our family have peace of mind. All of the staff treated her so well and we were sad to have to tell them not good bye but see you later!

The Yellow Brick House has been a blessing for my family. My Mom needed a place to live with her illness. The YBH was the answer to my prayers. My Mom is well raken care of. I feel so fortunate to have found an assisted living home for my Mom of which I have come to learn was and is the best place for her and has put my mind at ease. The staff are very courteous and respectful and have shown me videos of my Mom dancing and smiling living her best life which warms my heart. I love my Mom and want nothing but the best for her during her later years in life. During our phone conversations she tells me how well she is and how she has no complaints at all, words that I am blessed to hear. When I visit I receive a warm welcome from staff and love to see how well kept the facility is. Trust me when I say that I looked for any sign of red flags and to date I have seen none. Many people have reservations about how, when and where to place their loved ones as did I, but I truly believe that I have made the best decision and placed my Mom in the best environment for us both. Trying to do it on my own was tough to say the least, and I've come to realize that we needed expertise, experience and a lot of patience, of which I had very little. So to sum it all up, I sleep well at night with the knowledge that I made a great choice in a facility with caring staff for the Woman that took such great care of me, her first born child. Thank you so much Humera Savaja, "Executive Director", Natascha "Manager", and caregivers Ty, Darren, Daphne, Trinity, Charlene, Towaka and Tiyianna whom takes my Mom for her walks and others who's names I haven't learned yet. Yellow Brick House was very quick and accommodating when I needed a temporary place for my mother after her stroke. The staff was always very helpful and treated her with care. She really enjoyed her time there and will be back to visit!

It was warm caring and taking the tour in the dementia and Alzheimer AREA was awesome. Piano playing, maracas shacking from the people that STAY there was awesome. Profoundly THEY were all on beat. Interning we smelled home made Salisbury Steak simmering in gravy and the smell of home made pie crust for the Cherry Cobbler. Mashed potatoes and gravy with fresh green beans. Awesome. Lunch was only$5.00. It wasn't ready yet. Darn smelt so good all homemade. Clean, very well staffed with people who actually CARE about some one. Felt like home. Real Talk if I had to go to a home for assisting living. I'd hope my Family would send me there. A lot of one on on. Yellow Brick House. Thanks for your wonderful tour.
