As a provider in the area who regularly visits Barclay House, I have consistently been impressed by the level of care and professionalism displayed by the staff. Everyone is always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely engaged with the residents and families they serve. This is evident in the observed conversations and ongoing engagement between residents and staff. Each staff member treats each resident as if they are a part of their family. The Orchards and Grove staff especially deserve recognition for their compassion, patience, and dedication. They go above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, respected, and supported while providing care with dignity and kindness. Each time I visit, the environment is clean and inviting, and the staff work together to create a positive atmosphere for everyone in the community. It feels like home each visit at Barclay House. I am a hospice nurse that visits Barclay House multiple times per week to see my patients. The staff is extremely friendly. The residents are well taken care of. There are so many activites going on, and I love seeing the residents engaged and laughing. I enjoy walking into the building and interacting with the staff and residents. I would highly recommend Barclay House if you are looking for an assisted living facility for yourself or a loved one. One of the best facilities in Augusta! I would highly recommend.

I have worked with many assisted living facilities across the CSRA and Barclay House of Augusta definitely stands out. The community is beautiful. The staff are friendly and caring. The Benton House facility is far superior to most in all aspects of organization, cleanliness and courteousness. The Benton House employees are very kind to and respectful of the residents. They plan fun events for the residents and plan two to three bigger events every month to include families. Plus they go all out when they plan special events: decorations, staff where themed outfits, entertainment, and more! They went the extra mile when helping our family transition our mother from assisted living to memory care. I highly recommend Benton House!

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at The Benton House of Augusta. My mother was in the Memory Care. She was so loved and cared for by the entire community staff. The caregivers in The Orchard Memory Care treated our mom and us like family. During this Covid pandemic, I knew Mom was in the best place possible. I couldn’t be there, but they reached out with FaceTime and calls. I wish I could name each and every caregiver by name, but there are many!!! The ones I had the most contact with were Shay, Dominique, Tamika, Sandy, Hannah and Ashley. March 13 Mom went to be with Jesus. She was 97 years old. I know that her last couple of years were like her being with family because they treated her that way. Thank you Benton House family.

Benton house is extremely accommodating! My daughter (one of the residents granddaughter) wanted to surprise her grandfather in her wedding dress since he was unable to attend the wedding during the pandemic. The staff helped us set up the socially distanced outside visit and it meant so much to all of us!

It is especially hard for us not to be able to visit my husband in person, but I felt better knowing that all the staff on the memory unit were doing so much to assure he was well care for & loved. Wonderful facility. Kind professional caring and attentive. Very happy with their customer service. My dad is safe secure happy and well looked after. He is in the memory care unit Beacon Neighborhood where everyone treats him kindly and checks on him hourly. He is flourishing at BH. Truly a blessing to find Benton House
