We are so grateful to the Aegis Madison Team for their superb care and compassion the past few years. Moving my Mother-in-law from her Queens apartment (of close to 60 years as a resident!) to Seattle in 2021 during the height of Covid was scary. We soon discovered that her early onset dementia had progressed. The Aegis team worked with us to shift her to the memory care team, and she is doing well under their care. This week following her birthday, we moved her to the newly opened Ballard Aegis. It's .5 miles from our home in Ballard. It's gorgeous and VERY Ballard themed. I want all of the decor! Complete with a wonderful sun deck. We are thrilled to have her walking distance from our home, but we will miss her care team at Madison Valley who have gone above and beyond these past two years and have our full trust. Thank you, Aegis Living Madison!

My uncle went into Aegis at 92 when he was unable to live alone. The facilities are superb. Great location, clean and modern with lots of activities. But the real strength of this facility is the staff. Very warm and displaying genuine care for their residents. My uncle passed away last month at age 95. His final weeks were filled with staff members coming in to hold his hand and comfort him. It made the process of much easier for all of our family. We knew he was well cared for.

This was my first time dealing with a loved one in need of memory care and did I find a resource! Every person was genuine and loving, patient and warm. They were extremely helpful every step of the way. Elizabeth and Judy are two of the most helpful and knowledgable people that were a joy to work with. The facility is amazing! We jokingly refer to it as "The St. Regis" with its beautiful lobby, piano and dining room. Anybody in need of this type of care should look into Aegis on Madison.

We couldn't be happier with Aegis living on Madison. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! They have far exceeded our expectations!! My mom has been staying with them for several months and the compassion, care, AMAZING staff (shout out to Judy and Ebony!!!), and FOOD have been better than I could have ever expected! They truly treat my whole family like we are family and I couldn't be more impressed!

This is a comfortable, safe, and entertaining place to live. I would like see the Community Bulletin, Daily Life Enrichment Activities, etc. posted online (and/or on the DirectTV in-house channel) for me to see without getting paper copies.

Throughout a thorough screening, evaluation and search process for a loved one living in Seattle and away from close family, we had varied experiences in speaking to and interviewing assisted living facilities in and around Seattle. Some were downright rude and dismissive when I mentioned that my loved one has some special needs, some were not impressive over the phone but I gave them a second chance to tour (a waste of time and mistake) and others like Aegis Madison stood out as exceptional. I spoke to Elizabeth several times to learn about Aegis Madison and to set an appointment to tour and she willingly spent much of her time learning to understand our particular situation, the special needs, the overall goal, and making sure our visit would be worthwhile. Her knowledge of the industry, compassion for residents, listening skills, energy and information shared surpassed most all of the people I spoke to. I would recommend this facility highly to be on a short list when looking at Assisted Living facilities in Seattle. We changed direction of our overall plan midway through setting the appointment (these things happen when coming from out of town and needing adapt to the changing situation) and had to cancel the tour at the last minute. However, Aegis should know first impressions matter. Elizabeth set such an impression on us as a clear leader and professional that we are sure we will be coming back to get a tour and make some final decisions when the time is right for Assisted Living. Thankfully working with professionals like Elizabeth will make the process much easier.

My mother has been at Aegis on Madison (on the Memory Floor) for a couple of weeks. Our familys experience with Aegis has been nothing short of fantastic. The facilities are first class, but the gold is in their people (we noticed that Aegis was rated as a great place to work and it shows). One example was a young lady that tracked us down in the coffee shop next door to deliver us a missing piece of equipment for Moms wheelchair (she knew we were going for a walk and the extra equipment really helped). A big thank you to all the staff especially on the Memory Floor (2nd Floor) for welcoming my Mom and treating us like family. Youre awesome!
