It’s quite a transition when you move from a family home to assisted living but Prestonwood Court has given us a place to start a new chapter. My moms room is a perfect place for her and she is enjoying all the activities and the friendly staff. We appreciate the support & look forward to experiencing all they have to offer their residence and families. Sherry Swanson (daughter)

The staff at Prestonwood court are very accommodating and responsive. They have helped my grandma out a lot in her transition from living alone at her house to her new apartment there. They are kind and inviting and have managed to get my grandma out of her shell a couple times. Their food is great and they offer haircut services on the property. My grandma also always has great thing to say about the driver, Roosevelt. Overall, a really great place to visit and for my grandma to live. Appreciate all the staff. 🙂

I toured a client today with Sales Counselor Chris Morgan, and I have to say”she is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. Chris is incredibly thorough, polite, and professional. I often say that about many counselors, but she truly stood out. It was a pleasure touring with her.

The time had come to begin the search for an assisted living location for our mother. It was with great trepidation that we started the search. We had not heard many positive things concerning facilities and wasn't completely happy with what we had seen. What a blessing it was to then be referred to Prestonwood Court! The moment we walked in you felt the difference. It was warm, inviting and beautiful. After visiting with Chase the Director we knew this was the place. Our mother has been here almost 6 months and has stated often she feels so comfortable and happy. That would be enough but they go so beyond. The staff is incredible! They treat her like their own. They are kind, respectful, attentive and very positive. I have not had one interaction with anyone that gives me pause. They are responsive to the family and always available if you have a need. The activities are numerous and creative. I highly recommend Prestonwood Court!

Oh what an experience! I toured this lovely community in west plano and I absolutely love it. The sales person Chris connected with me immediately. Her professionalism when we asked the tough question really shined through. This is a really good community but the staff make it a great community. Most of all Chris!

Our Mom recently passed away after staying at Prestonwood Court for 15 months. Mom chose this facility among others in Plano as she was impressed with the levels of care and we are so grateful that she did. All of the staff, from the med techs and aides that administered her meds and took care of her personal care, to those that cleaned her apartment and took care of her laundry each week, to the staff in the salon that kept her hair looking great, and the staff cooking and serving food, all of the staff delivered personalized care and actively showed her affection.

Finding the right community for an aging parent is a difficult but important process. My father and I determined it was best for him to be nearer to me at this point in life, although it was very difficult to move him away from his known neighborhood and community of many years. We visited seven facilities. When we found Prestonwood Court, we walked out saying definitively, "That's the one." There is a "feel" there that we did not experience anywhere else. Children of other residents have said the same to me. There is "life" there. It is a true community. It feels like a home. Staff and residents interact as a family. I cannot say enough about Julie, the Sales Director, who was extremely personal and patient. The staff helped us make the move smooth as silk. From the physical move to the emotional change, the staff supported my father and me in every way imaginable. We have been very pleased with the service and responsiveness of the front desk, activities, maintenance and floor staff members. My father enjoys the regular outings and live performances. He even likes the food! He routinely says, "They take wonderful care of me here." Our family is blessed to be at Prestonwood Court.

We're so happy we found Prestonwood Court for our mom. The caregivers and staff and entire team have gone above and beyond these past two years of Covid to make sure everyone is safe, not only cared for, but cared for with respect and dignity. Highest praise goes to Dani, the Executive Director, who encourages a text or phone call and promptly answers any question or concern. So many times during lockdown, she checked on mom and even put together a puzzle table I had ordered because I couldn't be there. We feel very fortunate to be able to relax and know everything's being taken care of.

I highly recommend Prestonwood Court. My soon to be 99 year old father has lived there for the past 2 1/2 years. For the years prior to his move there, he always detested the idea of going into an assisted living facility. But I can tell you that he is very happy at PWC. The current Director, Dani, is stellar! She cares for the residents like they are her own family. Anytime I have a question, she answers me almost immediately. I feel like my dad is safe and secure at PWC.

I think diversity, staff wise is what separates Prestonwood Court from some of the other local living facilities. Its nice to witness the dedication to resident care, eveytime I stop by here.

Very caring professional staff. Lots of age appropriate activities. Each meal is a dining experience. Food and service are great. Staff worked closely with my moms doctors to get her well and back on an even keel. Totally removed the stress off of my plate. So thankful.
November 2018
My mother was a happy resident of the memory care section of Prestonwood Court. The staff was very caring and awesome in all respects. The lady in charge of that segment of PC, Carol Tabor, took a special interest in Mother because they were both from California. Each morning, before the rest of the residents had risen, she came into Mother's room and announced, "Mary Margaret... time for us California girls to have our morning coffee." Mother would grumble but reluctantly, she got up, and the 2 Californians had their special time together. All the staff in Memory Care were like that. They quickly became part of our family, as did the families of the other residents. The final proof that staff/family was synonymous, was that several "staff"/ family asked to be allowed to participate in the prayers around mothers bed as she was passing over. It was an amazing experience which seemed RIGHT because these were the same people who enriched our mothers life each and every day. THANK YOU.
September 2018
What a wonderful place to call home! Very well kept, always clean, great food, and most importantly a very caring staff that attends to residents as if they were their own parents. Not inexpensive by any means but well worth the piece of mind neaded for children with aging parents that just can't handle life at home alone anymore. I wrote this review after several months with a parent in residence. There were issues with the mandatory staff doctor and mandatory prescription provider. Without getting into details, monitor your loved ones meds and health very closely as changes in brand & dosage can have drastic outcomes. 9/25/18
