I am absolutely blown away by the staff at Brookdale-Spring Shadows! We moved our loved one in and within 2 days, he is a changed man, literally!! He has very recently been a resident at other facilities and the staff would not even change his diaper!! He always refused to participate in any activities or even go to the dining room for meals. Since he's been at Brookdale-Spring Shadows, he has gone to the dining room for each of his meals! They have the right approach and know how to encourage him to want to mingle with the other residents!! He is talking, joking, and laughing with them as well as with the staff! It is AMAZING!!! The executive director, Nina, was even there to greet us upon our arrival! Beginning with the tour, the assessment, our move-in (where we had what felt like a welcoming committee) and even the bus ride that they provided, I am torn on what was the best part! This is just the start of how wonderful our experience has been! He is finally HOME!!! We look forward to a very long stay here and wanted to share with anyone looking for an absolute gem of a place for their loved one!!

Moving my mother into this facility was a traumatic experience for everybody. But once our mother made just one friend in combination with the overall professionalism of the staff our mother felt at home immediately. This is the best decision as a family we have made in the care of our mother. We know she is safe, loved and enjoying be happy again as she ages.

Placed both parents in Brookdale in 2019 and when covid hit and they went on complete lockdown it was very difficult for parents and family. The staff stepped up and allowed for creative ways to visit our parents. Mother became extremely depressed and soon had to be placed under hospice care and again the staff allowed for creative ways for us to be with her without endangering the entire community. Nineteen months later (still dealing with covid) our dad was placed under hospice care and again the staff were wonderful. Can't thank them enough for taking care of my parents when we couldn't get to them because of covid. Hospice was great with my mom but not sure what happened when my dad needed them. Fortunately Brookdale staff stepped up again and cared for my dad during his final days. You can't find a more loving, caring bunch of people for your loved ones than Spring Shadows and you can be confident your loved one is safe and cared for when you are not around.

Front line continue to be very receptive and helpful . It has been difficult to get in contact with the new manager. COVID has made it difficult to contact loved ones, as everywhere. I would like to see some sheltered areas on the front or back porch so residents can get outside. The facility is older, but more affordable than many nearby.

My 90 year old mom has been The Neighborhood at Tellico Village a little over a year. She was happy there but due to the pandemic we decided to move her to Five Star Independent Living next door. Holly and the entire staff were so accommodating and absolutely the nicest people to help make sure my mom was welcome and help to settle her into her new beautiful apartment. The independent living is first class and a great place for someone who is a candidate for that lifestyle. Unfortunately, mom ended up needing more help with daily duties than we realized and we moved her back to The Neighborhood Assisted Living after 2 short months. Again, Holly and the entire staff were able to accommodate her and move her back to assisted living within a week. We just got her settled today with the help of the Five Star staff and she is happy and thrilled to be back with her friends. Everyone has gone above and beyond to take care of my mother and her needs. We are very fortunate to have such wonderful and caring facilities as both The Neighborhood Assisted Living and Five Star Independent Living here in Tellico Village. I would not hesitate to recommend either place for your loved ones. Thanks to all!

We moved our uncle from another state to be close to us. He is 91 years old and was in a rehab. We moved him to the Neighborhood and could not be happier. They take such good care of him and he is very happy as well. Holly made our move there for him so easy and she was so much help dealing with his rehab and making all the necessary paperwork that was needed for his move. We could not have done it with out her. The Neighborhood is so clean and beautiful and the staff treats our Uncle wonderful. He said the food is delicious and looks forward to all his meals. We would highly recommend The Neighborhood at Tellico Village for anyone looking for an assistant living facility for their loved one.

The people at this place are wonderful. I live out of state and they helped my brother move in during the pandemic. They were so accommodating and pleasant. They went above and beyond to help him. I cant thank them enough!

The Arbors at Taunton has a warm home like feeling. The building is exceptionally clean. The exterior property is beautifully maintained. Staff go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Residents reside in their own private apartments, they can benefit from the services provided or live as independently as they wish to. Location is ideal located two minutes to major highways of Route 24 along with route 140.

My mother-in-law Mary has been at the Arbors for approximately 14 months. She resides in the reflections unit which Specializes in residents with Dementia or are suffering from Alzheimers. I have found the staff to be extremely attentive and caring and we know each other on a first-name basis. Mary attends many of the outings and although she does not recall much about them she is always uplifted when she returns. Her unit is always clean and well-maintained and her medications are administered in a timely fashion. The staff is very responsive to her needs and they contact us immediately if if any problems or needs should arise. I am very impressed with the care that she receives and would highly recommend the Arbors to others.

Employees in the Memory Care Unit go above and beyond to care for my mother, who is 99, and some times non-verbal. They do a wonderful job and are very kind, patient, loving and caring. Administrative staff is easily accessible and very quick to address concerns or issues.

A tranquil setting for a beautiful home. A staff that is always courteous and kind. An environment that encourages interaction with other residents and participation in social activities. A warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the facility including outdoor spaces of beauty and inviting everyone to enjoy at their leisure. Personal space to accommodate cherished home furniture and articles that provide security. It has been truly comforting that my best friend, while not at her own home, is in a home that cares and takes care to assure she is safe and reasonably content and happy.

I have experienced Cambridge Warren from all aspects (staff, visitor, family member of a resident, etc.) and theres no place better. Karen has completely turned the facility around in the time shes been there; shes a true asset! Pioneering the Memory Care Units, finding formally trained chefs to make the dining experience a terrific one, making the place feel like HOME instead of a clinical facility... The list goes on. The residents are absolutely the heart of Cambridge Warren, but, without Karen and her excellent staff, that heart couldnt beat!

The facility is very resident and family oriented. The staff is professional but caring and easy to talk with. They try to make living in a facility as home like as possible. I have had (and have) family members at Cambridge and I would recommend that anybody considering senoir care check it out.

Our father has been at Brookdale Spring Shadow for 2 years, in the Brookdale system for 6 years. The staff at Spring Shadows is very kind and patient when dealing with him. He can be a difficult man, but they have found a way to handle him with care, dignity and understanding. Marlene, Sonya, Fanny and Caesar do a great job caring, dressing, feeding and cleaning up after our dad. Great rooms, outdoor areas and activities. A wonderful place for our dads final years, he loves it, considers it home.

The staff is always very helpful and accommodating to our needs. And, they truly continue to look for ways to make the overall experience the best it can possibly be. We are very fortunate that my mother who is 86 years old lives at Arbors, Taunton. The facility is stunning and clean, staff members in all functional areas are not only knowledgeable but extremely polite. I had the pleasure of working very closely with Karen Reardon who is the Director of the Facility....she brings a different level of professionalism and genuine care for my mom and keeps me readily informed. Again Arbors is an excellent facility.

Our parents have lived here for two years. They have lived in the traditional first floor and then moved to the reflections second floor. They have always been treated like first class. Everyone is super nice there and more than willing to help in anyway. Everyone is very kind and compassionate to the residents.They have a lot to offer in so many ways,lots of activities and outings. My father in law passed a few months ago and they have been so helpful to our mom. They have a lot of VNA services that come in and social workers,and they all try to keep her busy and happy. I love that they have a resident nurse there to help out with any needs and all their meds are delivered and administered at the proper time. Their room is always tidy, laundry done and meals ready for them. We love that all commune together in a large dining room and can get to know one another. We have had a lot of interaction with Jessica,Chrissy and Mary on a nursing level and they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Ashley does a great job with all the in house activities. Sasha is one of the most considerate and kindest sweetest person to have working in that facility ,everyone loves her! We see her every time we came in to visit our parents and she is always smiling! we would highly recommend this facility. Jim and Lu-Ann Winsor

My Mother has been living at the Arbors for almost 20 months now. Placing our Mom in an assisted living facility was an agonizing decision. We toured several and eventually made a decision. Where we first placed our Mom was nice but we couldnt possibly figure out the pricing each month. It changed based on the amount of care and oversight she was given. Eventually, we found this to be a financial threat to the money dedicated to her long term care. Then, we found the Arbors of Taunton and it was a perfect solution. The right blend of affordability, care, compassion, cleanliness and surroundings. Each family has to make their own decision based on whats best for their loved one...many factors vary from family to family. However, I highly suggest that in your evaluation process you consider the Arbors of Taunton...in our opinion they are excellent.

Most of the staff has been wonderful , the receptionists have been wonderful. Most of the staff has been efficient , kind , caring , thoughtful and a lot of the staff has gone the extra mile to be nice to my brother. overall his care has been very good from nursing to regular staff. Ive been working here for just about 3 months and I cant find any complaints. The residents are really nice and sweet and they love hanging out with each other. They seem to love the different activities with each other each day. The staff has been great and the residents feel really safe and comfortable with everyone here.

The staff at The Neighborhood, Tellico Village, couldnt have been nicer or more accommodating when we had to move my 95-year-old mother-in-law into the facility recently under very trying circumstances. My husband had rescued her from the Gatlinburg fire; as the home beside hers was burning to the ground, all she had time to grab was her purse. Angela Smith, the executive director, with the help in particular of Karen Prendergast and Joseph Trice, made sure she had everything she needed. Marti Hands also was great to work with--in fact, I could just list everyones name if space allowed. My mother-in-law is very complimentary of the staff who care for her, and she likes the food, too! We are so grateful that this traumatic event turned into a blessing!
