Have found the staff, hands down, quite exceptional. My mother in law was here in memory care until she passed and my father in law is currently in memory care here. The staff is truly remarkable , from Janet and Linda to Jennifer and Tyshell, the ladies at the front desk, Pete and his nursing staff, just outstanding. We so appreciate everyone here and are immensely grateful for the care and kindness our loved ones receive here.

Although my dad lived at Brookdale Lowry for only four months before his death, I’m so grateful for the care, kindness, and dignity he experienced there. After visiting eight other communities, we chose Brookdale because it felt the most genuine. The residents were active and cheerful, and staff were warm and welcoming. From the very first day, they made space for my dad to be known and valued”his name tag visible so other residents could greet him and introduce themselves as he was wheeled down the hallway. The nursing staff and caregivers were attentive and respectful, and communication with the family was steady and thoughtful. Activities were plentiful and meaningful, and although my dad wasn’t able to participate in many due to his declining health, he enjoyed the opportunities he had to engage. The residents themselves were a special blessing”friendly, welcoming, and so kind to him and to us. It matters where and how a person spends their final months. For my dad, Brookdale Lowry was a place of safety and peace. We carry that with us in our grief, and we’ll always be thankful.

Brookdale Lowry was a Godsend for my husband's mother who recently passed away. Everyone we dealt with from the director to the many caregivers had so much compassion and were always so helpful with anything she needed. The facility is so clean and bright and the staff was always so friendly and kind. We love that she had Brookdale as her home and will always sing their praises.

I wish I could give Brookdale 10 stars! Nurse Pete and Nurse Gaby were amazing and have a great team there! They all took amazing care of my father in his final days. The front office staff, Janet, Dee, Honey were all amazing to work with. My family will be forever grateful.

Brookdale was a fabulous home for our father. We toured so many assisted living facilities, and considering the competitive pricing, how large the rooms are, and most importantly, the walkability of this facility with torchys tacos, target, Safeway, and a multitude of restaurants all nearby, are the reason we ended up choosing this location.

Brookdale was a fabulous home for my father. We toured many facilities and this one had the most life. Residents are out and about and socialize with one another. The staff is so helpful, very patient and friendly and have an eye on what is going on. They helped with the standard care items but also technician support of iPhones and WiFi and anything else my dad needed. The location gives non-drivers some freedom as Safeway, several restaurants, the library and Target are within easy walking distance. The rooms are a good size and pricing is very competitive. Highly recommend!

I’m into my 5th year here. Initially there were many headaches and problems with leadership until Janet arrived (?maybe 2 yrs ago?). She is the ultimate professional: keeps the place running smoothly! I’m VERY happy with the caregivers I’ve had over the years! My needs are met quickly. Janet also is very positive, friendly and upbeat: I know she’s listening to me. She was in charge and guided us beautifully through the COVID lockdowns and problems. I believe we had one of the lowest rates of Covid circulating through the Denver community, compared to other local facilities; I credit her with managing that whole crazy situation skillfully and properly. I’m sure one of her biggest challenges is acquiring and maintaining adequate numbers of staff. Each applicant must be thoroughly screened before being hired! But I feel that most employees are hanging in there once they are hired, especially considering the whole Covid debacle. Caregivers all are friendly and helpful; Janet has a terrific front desk (receptionist) crew finally in place. (I just wish she was given the budget to have someone at the reception area later in the evening.) Maintenance issues are attended to quickly and properly. I mostly stay in my outside garden apartment but when I do go into the main building it seems like it’s clean and no funky nursing home odor. It’s a happy and safe place to be!

Unfortunately Dad has passed away but in the 7 months he was a resident at Brookdale Lowry he / we loved the facility. The staff was always courteous, caring and treated us like family. We looked at several properties before deciding on Brookdale Lowry and were so comfortable with them. If you need somewhere for Assisted Living for your family member you couldn't find a better place.

Right time, Right place, Right people. This summarizes my Brookdale Lowry experience. Dealing with unprecedented times due to covid, they nonetheless were able to provide the acute care and personal attention that my loved one required. I personally was also made to feel an important part of their community as well, with hospice allowing unfettered access regular reports, and a daily diary outlining my wife's progression or regression. I never felt out of the loop. My wife's stay at Brookdale lasted 20 months before her passing. Brookdale and their staff will continue to remain in my heart and prayers.

HOORAAH! We now have new leadership in the building. Last time I wrote all we had was mistake after mistake after mistake. Now we have an occasional mistake but it is corrected immediately. Menu's have improved drastically, in addition to the cooking process. For example, I had eggs benedict for breakfast. What did you have? It shows what superior leadership can do! Kudos to the leadership of Brookdale Lowry, with special regards to Zach and Janet.

I see staff turnover is high but consider that every single position has to be cleared for crimes, each persons' deportment has to be evaluated and each new hire must be accepting and loving about any quirks every resident demonstrates. Try to fill that bill on any job and there is bound to be a larger-than-normal recidivism rate and constant staff shortages. Very shortly after his arrival my brother was embraced into the community, he was seen as a valued addition and given the attention he asked for and needed. Concerns were resolved in a timely manner. Dining is not gourmet but the food is good , tasty and healthy, and individual preferences are solicited and fulfilled when possible. At minimum the food director will consider requests. There is a daily menu that rotates at least twice a month with several additional choices each week. My brother went for sitting in front of a TV all day every day to being busy and entertained with in-house activities and outings every week. He went from being grumpy to being satisfied to being happy. It is an ideal place for him and a convenient location for me. Brookdale is a blessing to my family.

What a great facility! The staff is always professional, friendly and helpful. I visit my dad frequently, even during non traditional hours and I always feel the staff offering the best care possible 24/7. The Marketing, Social and Caretaker staff treat me and the residents like they are a member of their family. I can't think of an area where Village @Lowry falls short. Put them on your list when you need to look into assisted living.

The Village at Lowry has been a joy from the very start. The staff is friendly, caring and fun and very personable. My grandparents love living independently in a facility that provides such great care, meals and an endless list of activities to keep them healthy, learning and having a great time. If my grandparents need help or have questions, the staff is very responsive and helpful. I have found this to be true as well when asking questions or inquiring about their care. I really can't say enough positive things about this assisted living facility!

The building is beautiful, with food delicious and served restaurant style. There are tons of activities to do, so the residents have opportunities to interact with others. The care staff is very helpful, and overall this facility is truly amazing.
