I was nervous visiting my Mom for the first time after she was admitted to a memory care facility, I didn't know what to expect. My concerns were dismissed after spending some time at the facility, the entire staff is committed to the well being of the residents. I was most impressed with the interaction and activities planned for the residents, they really care for their patients in the most trying circumstances. What really sold me was at bed time the residents who have befriended each other hug and say goodnight it was a truly an emotional moment that my Mom would never have experienced being at home. I now have peace of mind that my Mom is being well taken care of and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Had a not very pleasant 1-month stay at Tucson Place over February-March 2026 for respite care following back surgery. I contacted Pegasus leadership on May 4 and have not received a reply. Staff was not prompt responding to calls for help, food service and quality were fair and leadership did nor respond to inquiries.

My mom, Grace was fortunate to spend her last days at Tucson Place. The activities go on all day to keep residents stimulated and involved. The Caregivers are loving to all residents, and the Memory Director works hard at growing Tp to a #1 facility.. I am thankful for their expertise in caring for my loved one.

I've been to other facilities that pale in comparison to this place. It's clean, the staff is friendly, the administrators are kind. I definitely would recommend this for anyone looking for a facility for their loved ones. I always said I would never put a loved one in a care facility because I never trusted anyone but I stand corrected. I would highly recommend checking out this facility for a loved one and would put mine there if necessary.

I had the pleasure to tour with Ella at Tucson Place to help assist my Aunt and Uncle who recently moved to Arizona. I was concerned about them having two different levels of care. Not only did my family feel welcomed, they were accommodated for their respective needs and the staff showed concern and compassion during their transition. My Uncle absolutely loves their meals and my Aunt can’t get enough of Bingo. My favorite take away is that the building always smells fresh and doesn’t carry a strong odor as typically found in other facilities. I would highly recommend Tucson Place at Ventana Canyon.

I have never experienced such a horrible work experience like here, so much favoritism the management is awful i worked as a housekeeper the other housekeepers are the laziest, the director of maintenance sloppy dirty looking and just disgusting horrible environment to be in.

Been here one year! Been to all 50 states... Tucson, AZ 85750 is the BEST Location I have ever lived at. Most content and everything is so Convenient... April and September are the best months to be here.... 10 months are weather tollarable July and August are very hot... Time goes by fast and couldn't imagine moving anywhere else for our cost of living.... So many enjoyable things to do... I biggest problem is, often we are on the go.... So many wonderful friends.... I think that Tucson Place at Ventana Canyon is a truly special community. Every time I walk in from the moment I arrive, I am greeted with breathtaking views of the Catalina Mountains that create a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere. This is a very impressive place. My brother and sister-in-law in Tucson looked at 12 memory care facilities before they decided on this one for my mother, who has severe dementia. There are several reasons for this: the space is intimate (not sterile), residents are actually smiling and engaged, lots of social activities are planned daily, the healthcare managers are empathetic and professional; and we saw my mother go from someone who was very angry and raging to someone who was smiling and participating in social activities with other residents. Before we signed on the dotted line, the management there had separate Zoom calls with me and my other brother (we don’t live in AZ). What impressed me about this was that nothing was staged. The manager walked around the facility with her phone camera, showing us exactly what it looked like and felt like. That suggested that management was comfortable with transparency, and showing the facility as it was “ with no pretense. After my mom arrived, the manager sent a video to us, showing my mother relaxed and smiling and singing with the other residents. This was quite moving to our family, because we had been feeling quite anxious about moving her from her house into a memory care facility. As a family, we are grateful for, and impressed with, this place. It is everything we could have hoped for: making us feel optimistic about this new (more social) chapter in our mother’s life. I would say it’s a hidden gem in Tucson!

While I can’t rate their specific services, I can state that the staff here are genuinely kind and welcoming. I was stranded here on a bike during a downpour - if their hospitality to a complete stranger is any indication of their ethos, I am certain that they would provide top-notch, warm services for your loved ones.
