When searching for an Assisted Living residence for my aunt, we chose Sunrise Senior Living Brighton Gardens of Florham Park for the size of the apartment, the dining experience, the people who'd been on staff many years, and the friendly community. Though it's a tough transition, my aunt acclimated and was glad to live in a place where, if she had a health issue, she could get help immediately. She was able to have prescriptions delivered, come and go to the dining room and activities on her own, and made her apartment feel like a mini version of her home in Manhattan. We really appreciated communication from the nursing staff as well as conversations with health professionals who visited regularly. When issues arose, the staff demonstrated patience and caring, and we were notified as soon as any differences in her physical health and cognition were detected. We feel that everyone who worked with my aunt really tried to help her, especially as her health declined. Even though, unfortunately, my aunt needed to be moved to a skilled nursing facility, it is a great comfort to know that the time she lived at Sunrise Brighton Gardens, she was well-care for.

This location is particularly nice. It has a beautiful piece of land behind it with walking trails and other outside activities. But it is still only a few blocks away from downtown with lots of restaurants and stores. I worked with Anthony and he was fabulous. Actually, everyone there was really nice and knowledgeable.

I have been working in EMS in North Jersey for many years. I better than most understand the many facilities that are available and remain happy with my family's choice of Brighton Gardens of Florham Park, for my parents, 3 years ago. My father has since passed but my mother remains quite happy at BG of Florham Park. I know the nursing staff keeps an eye on my Mother's health needs and contact us immediately with any change in her medical status. The aides are always pleasant when we meet in the corridor and if any questions arise , management is responsive to communication. My mother enjoys many activities and " field trips" offered, my siblings and I learned quickly not to call during Bingo! The facility is clean and well maintained. I am grateful that BG at Florham Park was available when we needed them.

My sister has been a resident in the reminiscence unit of Brighton Gardens of Florham Park for over three and a half years. During this time, I have been very happy with her care. More importantly, she seems very happy there, and seems very fond of her caregivers. I have found the staff to be very friendly, helpful, professional, and very good with communications. The home itself appears clean and well maintained. The food also seems to be very good, based on appearance and the couple of times I have eaten there myself. Based on my personal experiences, I highly recommend this facility.

We just recently placed our Dad here. The staff seems very nice, but dad waited a half hour for dinner because no one bothered to take his order. He called us numerous times saying he's freezing in his room. They wanted to charge us over $200 for a required bedbug bed cover, something that actually costs $30. I sat with him a few times at the dinner table and ALL of people there said the food is terrible, comes out cold, and you wait a long time for it. I saw quite a few seniors struggling to get around, with no one helping them. There are always people smoking in front of the building, leaving garbage on the tables. Saw the same garbage there two days in a row. Dad has a lot of questions about how to do things or where things are, and it seems that no one notices that he needs help. He keeps calling us and saying how miserable he is. We are heartbroken now and don't know what to do. If we could afford it, we would move him to a nicer facility.

My mom has been there a year now. I chose this for the Terrace club. Delma and Gail are the reason we are still there. We love them. They care for my mom like daughters. They get her out and doing things even our family couldn’t get her to do. I love all the staff there. They should be paid a lot for what they do and how they really care!

My father has been at Brighton Gardens for a little over a year now and I feel that he has received good care from a staff that is always attentive, kind and friendly. His room and the general areas are always clean and neat. The food is good and there are plenty of activities during the day. I feel lucky that my father is there.

Wonderful community. Staff is super attentive to the residents and go out their way to assist those in need. The dining experience is amazing, the family socials and events are out of this world. This community will go all out to ensure families and residents have a good time at these events. The food is great and the atmosphere is so welcoming. From the warm welcome you receive at the front desk and the smiles on the workers faces, rest assured your loved one is in the right place.
