I was initially calling around, trying to find a place for my very elderly mother. I was impressed from the beginning phone call, to the subsequent interviews. Everyone was kind, helpful, and able to answer my questions and give me guidance. Would not hesitate to use them.

The entire Staff at Paul House and Healthcare Center is Absolutely Amazing!!! Mel in the Business Office is an Angel from Heaven!!! Mel was so patient, professional, kind, caring, she's so good at what she does & she has an excellent bedside manner!!! This was my 1st time ever experiencing putting my Loved One into a healthcare facility & this was by far one of the hardest decisions I've ever made!!! After witnessing the Great Care my Loved One is receiving, the entire Staff at Paul House has made my tough decision a peaceful one!!! I Thank God for such a caring and compassionate Staff because my vulnerable Loved One said, " She's being well taken care of & everyone is professional, kind, loving & Absolutely Amazing!!!" To the entire Staff at Paul House, THANK YOU for taking such good care of my Loved One & our Family!!! God Bless You All!!! ~Gwendolyn Williams

I found the Paul House and Healthcare Center through a family member that had a friend that lived there so I went unannounced. And basically requested to sit with someone to get questions answered about how it worked when trying to place a family member. I was trying to find a good nursing home for my mother. And upon hearing about this place, I went immediately and Gerald Imperial explained it to me even though I had not formally scheduled an appointment he answered all my questions and told me to bring my mom in for a tour. My mom loved it. 20mins from my house and parking is never an issue. They have friendly staff, some of the sweetest nurses and CNA's. The director of nursing has became a wonderful acquaintance. Mrs. Tina Mrs. Mel is another very friendly asset to the Paul House, always willing to help and has saved my sanity a few times now. I really don't know how I could do this without Mrs. Mel's help!!! My mother is happy, safe, and likes where she is. She has a roommate that I have come to love like my own family. They made me feel like I could trust where I placed her to live. Thank you for all the things you all do for us!!!!!!! And God bless you all!

Ron said "this is the first time in years I've felt safe" and says he likes the food here. Staff is responsive, pleasant and very professional, facility is clean, quiet and comfortable. Mel in Business Office took the time to very carefully walk me through the regs and paperwork, helpful and reassuring. SW Lee did a thorough job of explaining the care plan and arranging followup. Staff are genuinely concerned for every person in their care. The nurses are angels.

Mel is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate her taking the time to educate me on my mom's rights and supportive services for Dianna, my mom. I love Paul's House for my mother. This home is super clean. My mom eats all of her food and my mom is always smiling. The entire staff and administration is beyond phenomenal. I wish that I would have known about Paul's House years ago. May God continue to bless this awesome facility.

My father-in-law is a patient. The staff has been wonderful, very informative, caring, and attentive. Paul House has been a Blessing. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. My brother stayed there for 3 months. I must say, the facility has a nice and calming atmosphere. Everyone is friendly. Mel, Head Administrator, reached out to my family and navigated us through very thought times, from helping with insurance needs to literally a shoulder to cry on. Our tears were wiped away, and we were able to make decisions confidently with my brother's care. Gerald, Manager, is great. He operates the facility with warmth and compassion. He also gets to the very root of any concerns you may have.Tina, Head of Nursing is a sweetheart. She handled any doctor's appointments my brother had. She always kept my family informed every step of the way on his medications and overall health. The nurses and CNA's were all wonderful, and always treated my brother and my family with care and respect. Erica, Head of Therapy, is wonderful with setting therapy sessions and keeping my family well informed. Chantel, Therapist really made therapy fun and brought a lot out of my brother, who was very limited in his physical abilities. Lee, Social Worker, kept my family well informed on any upcoming transfers or transitions my brother would go through. Overall, Paul House became our family, and we felt the love each and every time we visited!!

My dad was just transferred to Paul House at the beginning of May. I was worried. I was worried because his prior nursing home was absolutely atrocious. Since he's been at Paul House, I've noticed that he's always clean, he never smells like he needs to be changed, I see residents who look HAPPY, roaming around the building, I see administrative staff roaming the halls, and the nurses and CNAs are always so helpful and attentive. It's a dream come true. Not every facility is perfect, there's always going to be some issues, but Paul House is an establishment that I am very impressed with so far. God answered our prayers.

Facing the daunting task of moving a loved one to a nursing home is not something anyone should have to experience, yet people do, on a daily basis. I can not say enough wonderful things about Paul House. My mother has started to thrive again since her admission! There are a plethora of daily activities to keep her engaged and happy. She raves about the food. The facility is clean and nicely decorated. The staff are pleasant and her care team is amazing. If you are looking for a LTC facility, consider this one. We are pleased we did!

Just completed 4 weeks of post hip fracture rehab at Paul House and I have only the highest praise for all staff. Erica and Barbara, OT staff, are standouts for many reasons. Erica was an advocate for me in multiple instances and was a fantastic communicator. Barbara is both an excellent therapist and brings her enthusiastic personality to motivate. Physical therapists Michael and Rebecca deserve credit for exceptional skills. CNA's are the backbone of hands on care and Jeanine Munoz, Chanceria, Felipa, and Joe were empathetic, attentive, and foremost in an outstanding CNA staff. Nurses deserve all of the praise their profession universally receives.

Since the catholics sold it to these current cheap owners. It has become generic without a bit of christ. Just ask the patients. Endless building repairs are needed, the food is questionable, and the ANTS had more of my aunts lunch than she did. Just do the patients a favor and give it back to the catholics. Only thing that is effective in this place physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. They're understaffed and can't keep their own staff. Therefore, everbody is agency. Different nurse or cna almost daily. I wish I could bring my aunt home. This place is a conundrum and slightly angelic geriatric prison. The smell of urine once you hit the second floor is alarming. I asked a nurse named Malinda for help with my aunt and walked off haughty with a look that'll kill you. Just retire this woman already. Her whole aura was bad. She is no longer needed in the field of Healthcare. This place could use the help of its previous owners. Yet, I pray that the catholics get it back.

My Aunt was a resident at Paul House for nearly a year. Though she was a sharp, elderly lady, she was dependent on the staff for most of her physical needs. When I asked her, she said that the nurses and CNAs were friendly and helpful. I witnessed their and the housekeepers’ friendliness, when I visited. I was most pleased with the nurses’ interventions, when they noticed a change in her condition. The nurses kept me well-informed of any therapies/ medication/ or treatment changes.

I am very impressed with the staff the facility and the administrator Gerald and also Rachel. For being so committed and upfront about the procedure for transferring my sister Rosa Wilson to Paul house. The staff is wonderful. CNA Miss Thelma is great with my sister Rosa I deeply deeply appreciate everything that this facility is doing for my sister. I'm just hoping later on the remodel will continue even on the side where my sister is it's okay but it could look better. All rooms should look exactly like the picture on the website all floors should look exactly like the picture on the website. I also want to add another CNA marivac she is a wonderful wonderful addition to this awesome staff thank you guys for everything I really greatly appreciate it my heart goes out to you thank you.

They are destroying my health with the food. My blood pressure has skyrocketed because the kitchen ignores my low sodium requirements. They refuse to prepare the so called "always available meals." Even a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was salty. The contract Nurse from the night shift, didn't give me my scheduled night meds. My BP was so high the weekend Nurse was concerned about it and called the on call PA who directed her to send me to the hospital! I believe my wound care Nurse has not been giving me Collagen treatment for a wound.

My family highly recommends Paul House to family members looking for a nursing home. My grandfather is Spanish speaking and the staff have gone out of their way to communicate with him and make him feel comfortable. They assisted us in arranging for hospice care and have kept us informed every step of the way. The Director of Social Services, Executive Director and Director of Nursing and her team of nurses have proven to be competent and knowledgeable and have helped my family feel at ease during this challenging time. The key staff are a phone call away. They even assisted me in FaceTiming with my grandfather after hours. Thank you for all you have done for my family we appreciate it.

My Mom was just released from Paul House after a 3 month stay due to a fall. I was extremely happy with all aspects of her care over the duration of her stay. With Covid protocols still in place, it made monitoring her care much more challenging for me than it was on a previous stay a few years back for a knee replacement. My first contact person and the one who guided me through the entire stressful time was Grace O'Malley, the Social Services Director. From day one, Grace reached out to me to let me know what the next steps would be in Mom's care plan. Grace was always available to me to answer my questions, let me know what was in store next and most importantly, to calm Mom down during some very unexpected and anxiety filled days when she was not feeling well. Through it all, Grace was an integral and ever important key to Mom's care and eventual return back to her assisted living facility. She was at the helm for 3 Care Plan conference calls and lobbied for Mom in every aspect of her care all while keeping me informed and feeling comfortable that all was well when the Covid protocols made in-person visits very sporadic. I can't say enough about her commitment to care for the short and long-term residents at Paul House. She's a fierce advocate that is as caring and compassionate as they come and a true asset to the facility. I also had many positive experiences with the nurses and aides on the 2 East wing. They were very helpful during the most critical times in Mom's care and kept me updated with calls when necessary. I regret that I wasn't able to meet them all personally to thank them for the excellent care they gave during her stay. Big thanks go to Christine, Denise, Reggie and Mene to name a few as I wasn't able to get all of their names. They also have a strong commitment to probably the most challenging of patients and residents due to their limited mobility and continuing care. It takes a special kind of care and patience to do that job day after day and I applaud them for their excellence. Lastly, I'd like to commend Payden Dowling, Director of Physical Therapy, and the rest of the PT department for their plan to get Mom back to her baseline and pushing her each day to work toward her goals. Payden was also accessible to me on several occasions with PT updates and I appreciated his input on several Care Plan meetings. I would not hesitate to have Mom return to Paul House in the future should she need their services once again. Julie Russo

My brother-in-law has been cared for at Paul House since late November. I have been impressed by the care he has received and especially by the competent and caring communication I have had with members of the Paul House staff. Kate Goslin is an exceptional social worker who has taken time to get to know my BIL and his condition and Tina Borsch, the head nurse on the staff has also been in close communication. My brother-in-laws case is complex and requires careful evaluation at a time when the staff of all of these organizations must be under great pressure. I believe they are doing a fine job especially under these circumstances.

My aunt has been a resident of Paul House now since May. We had to move her mid COVID-19 due to facility concerns and could not be happier with the care and support we have received here! From the administration taking a personal interest in our case, to the social worker who is always available when we have questions, we cant say enough positive things. We are always informed of changes in health status and feel to be a valued voice in the care plan process. Dont overlook Paul House for your loved ones!
