The compassion I saw while visiting the facility was heartwarming. All our questions and emails were addressed in a timely fashion. The community itself was clean and pleasant to be in. A professional and courteous staff, from the receptionist to the director. The nursing and resident assistant staff are well trained and take excellent care of the residents. It's a very home-like environment. All in all, Sunrise has provided excellent care for my father at a very reasonable cost.

"We Love it Here!" That's what my mother who's been here since November wrote when we were joining her for dinner, and it brought tears to my eyes!! This "Hallmark Movie" as I call it finally has my mother happy, healthy, and being taken care of the way she deserves. Everyone here cares. Everyone here tries to make her comfortable and is accommodating when we come to visit! After 3 other facilities, I cannot begin to express how much better this place is! The therapy is wonderful - Nick, Samantha, and Michelle are amazing!! The hairdresser that comes every Monday is so kind and goes above and beyond to take care of everyone!! The lovely volunteers do nails for everyone on Wednesday and the Bingo and group activities and space for everyone to enjoy music and art are perfect and so appreciated! That would never have happened at her previous places!! Highly recommended to anyone and everyone who seeks a safe home for their family!

Sunrise on Providence should be commended for their care and love of residents. I moved my father out to be closer to me as his needs increased, but it was sad to leave what in a few short months felt like home to the both of us. The director, Beatrice runs a team that is responsive to needs and truly cares about residents, from Sal in maintenance that played guitar with my dad, to Rick the bus driver that took dad on lunch outings to countless caregivers that would ask about dad while he was in rehab. I can't say enough about the love that was shown And dad couldn't say enough about the good food! Thank you to all for being a part of this journey with us. I continue to sing your praises everywhere I go.

My Mom was a resident for 3 months when we moved to the Carolinas. She enjoyed the staff and felt comfortable there. The leadership team is the best part of this facility. They are quite responsive and demonstrate true caring for residents and their families. Mom was not real happy with the food, but she has had that same complaint of other residences. The residence is smaller and feels more like a home than a facility for care. Parking can be a challenge midday as that is when most staff is present. Mom was very happy with the physical and occupational therapy team and enjoyed interactions with front desk staff. Shout out to Beatriz, Donna, and Tina for all of their hard work to keep this a top facility !

Deciding to place a loved one in an Assisted Living facility is never easy, but finding the best possible one does make a difference. At Sunrise they really do have the best interest of their residents at heart. My father recently moved in after a short hospital stay, and while I was afraid he was going to isolate and not engage with the community (he was a loner at home), he has really opened up and now participates in their activities, enjoys walking, and to some degree socializing with the other residents. Even as he is now in memory care, Sunrise ensures he is able to participate in various activities including monthly outings for "lunch with the guys". I can rest easy knowing that at 87 years old, he is well taken care of and enjoying his best life.

Sunrise On Providence continues to exceed my expectations. Most recently they made a call to send my father to the hospital, that I would never have picked up on which got him early treatment for an infection that was building. Nurse Christy personally went to the hospital to see my dad (on his birthday too) and help arrange for his transition back to Sunrise. And my dad’s care team joyously welcomed him home when he returned this week. The best thing is after two months. He is calling Sunrise On Providence home.

Sunrise on Providence has been an answer to prayer! From a late night response from the Executive Director responding to a request for a tour the next day, to a community visit that demonstrated their ability to care for all my dad's needs, to swiftly executing paperwork and moving my father's belongings and then him in from another state within 8 days, the attention, warm welcome and communication received has been 5-Star. My father checked in last night, and received a warm welcome, was paired with fellow Veteran's for his dinner, and is feeling comfortable in his new home in less than 24 hours! This could not have happened without a strong community leader and team of people working to serve. I am grateful and excited to call Sunrise his new home.

Angel is the activity director and she has been wonderful to work with.These residents are so lucky to have her. She just radiates happiness and joy to all the residents and her co-workers. I have been visting this Sunrise facility for over a decade, primarily taking part in a worship service each Sunday morning. It takes only a visit or two to build a bond of friendship and love with many of the residents who quickly become special people in one's life. The same can be said for members of the staff with whom I have interacted. While we have always been welcomed at the facility, the level of cooperation, appreciation, and gratitude we have received from the current management and staff has reached an unprecedented level. It is truly a joy to partner with them as we seek to reach out to this delightful senior community.

Sunrise on Providence is an exceptional assisted living facility with an outstanding staff committed to support for their residents and their families. Beatrice Oywer, our Executive Director, has the most pleasant and helpful personality while she is very visible in the facility talking and chatting with residents and greeting their families and guests. On Sunday, September 24, we enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch served by our chef, Antone, and assistant, Lilly. The food is always very good, especially the desserts. Donna, our concierge at the front desk, is phenomenal who always greets you with a smile while efficiently coordinating free transportation to and from your doctor, making your hair, finger nail and toe nail appointments, and contacting Sal in maintenance, and coordinating with care managers, medtecs, and staff to support and serve the residents. In addition, Donna coordinates with Jeff, our safe, caring and courteous bus driver, our weekly Tuesday shopping trip and Thursday "lunch bunch" to enjoy a nice restaurant. It's comforting that our care managers and medical technicians are daily available 24 hours on site. They are very attentive to all the residents and they everyone know you on a personal basis. All medtecs are top notch including Mabel, Amanata, Khalib, Quandra, Essence, Candyce, and Ineba. . We are fortunate to have Lydia Jacobs, as our Assisted Living Coordinator, handle any special requests from delivering supplies to coordinating "mechanical soft" special food requests for all meals with our talented chefs and kitchen staff. Dee and Belinda do a thorough job keeping our facility, common areas, resident's rooms and bathrooms sparkling with pleasant scented air freshnerws sprayed daily to enjoy a fresh and clean feeling. Keep in mind, Angel, our lovely Activities Director, along with Kennedy, our pleasant Assistant Activity Director, plan a monthly calendar full of daily activities for our residents including bingo, exercise, singing, instrumentalists, worship, popcorn, arts, crafts, trivia, worship and coordinating for our residents to prepare sandwiches every week for those in need of food. Sunrise on Providence is a "home away from home" with rocking chairs on the front porch, beautiful entrance hall and foyer, and lovely dining room with white table cloths and linen napkins. Lib Gallagher is very blessed and thankful to have selected Sunrise on Providence since she moved into her room on November 7, 2022, and celebrated her 93rd birthday on May 22, 2023. Thank you, Sunrise on Providence, for an exceptional job in care and support!

Sunrise is an upscale warm, place to live and can provide many levels of care. The service is great and the activities are many. Even with the lack of help during this Covid time, there has been no drop in care provided. These people care and take good care of their patients. It has a great home feel to it and a wrap around porch and a pond to sit around and watch the geese. I highly recommend.
