We absolutely love the team here in the assisted living building at Brookdale Carriage Club. A family member described the team as one sets the bar high and then the next, even higher. The majority have been so caring, nurturing, thoughtful and sweet with my grandpa here. He has had nothing but nice things to say. Having the assistance where needed combined with all of the activities, gives him independence, enjoyment and fulfilment. Very grateful.

My mother spent 22days here after a broken wrist and hip; I was a complete mess! I never expected anything like this to happen so my level of preparation and acceptance was zero. I just wanted to talk up the community and how happy I was about her recovery, but the one person that made this entire situation bearable is being bashed in other posts. Sarah the administration held me while I cried and sat with me for almost an hr as I tried to figure out what do we do from here. She gave me her direct number and told me if I ever needed to talk that she was there for me. What’s even more interesting is I did report to Sarah only once that I noticed one of the CNAs weren’t responding to my moms call for help while talking in the hallway to another employee is the same one that came here to bash the administrator. What I don’t think is correct is to retaliate your wrong doings to someone that is so loving and caring because you are angry about your reprimand. If this is what a care giver goes to their supervisor being mad, I’m happy that Sarah was there to make sure you didn’t also try and take any more of your anger out on the patients SHAME ON YOU! From what I’ve seen she runs a tight ship and expects nothing but excellent service and care for the people there. If any worker there can’t handle it then please leave. Sometimes you have to burn the weeds to save the harvest.

I came here when I could no longer drive. I looked at over a dozen similar communities - the first one I chose was a mistake. After a year and a half, I moved To Brookdale Carriage Club Providence. Good move; I wish I had chosen BCC first. There are improvements I would like to see, but the major issues I see are due to Covid impact on this community and the resulting economic restrictions. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

When it came time, we toured every facility in Charlotte. We arrived at Brookdale Carraige Club on a Friday afternoon. All of the residents were gathering for Happy Hour. My mom said, this is it. I can live here. She moved in and got very involved in the community. She filled her days with all the activities and made lots of new friends. She was stimulated...her life was full. She was happy. Over 6 years, her health declined and caregiving became critical. It was great that she could stay within the community for all levels of care. The staff was incredible. She loved them and they loved her right back. My mom passed last week and Carraige Club employees streamed through to say goodbye and tell us how she had touched their lives. I cannot express what those personal relationships meant to all of us. The best decision we ever made was Brookdale Carraige Club. Mom was very happy and had a great end of life experience. She always told us she was the luckiest woman in the world. What more could a daughter want?

with a full kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer in the apartment. The community provides approximately 25 meals per month with lunch and dinner having 4 courses and 10 main course items to choose from. More than adequate to satisfy most taste buds.I find the staff to be most friendly and accommodating to residents needs as are the residents friendly and the Fridays happy hour a wonderful time to get together, while daily activities are provided for resident participation.The facility is on a campus like setting with many trees and apartments having a beautiful lake view of the lake, especially in the fall as the trees turn their bright colors. I have a two bedroom apartment and my brother joins me from New Jersey for the winter months. I enjoy my stay here and would recommend the facility to others.

Following a mild stroke, my mother relocated from Western NY to Charlotte to be closer to family. We looked at a number of Independent living options around the South Charlotte area. Brookdale Carriage Club stood out for many reasons. The campus is private, beautiful, and has many amenities. The apartments are well laid out and updated. The fact that Carriage club offers assisted living, health care and long term care for future transition was a huge benefit as well! For someone who lived in one town her entire life and left a house after 40 years, this change was overwhelming. The staff at Carriage Club was welcoming, helpful and minimized the challenges of this major transition. The residents were also very welcoming and supportive. My mother was surprised at how much she did not miss her house, and how many friends she made in such a short period of time. We highly recommend this community as aging family members look at options for additional care.

My mom moved into the Carriage Club at 90 and stayed for 6 years. She was very happy. The residents and the staff are incredible. On the day of her death, scores of caring souls lined the hallway, waiting to say goodbye and tell us what she meant to them. I will always be grateful we chose Brookdale Carriage Club Providence When I phoned to check on her, she would tell me she was the luckiest woman in the world. She was happy and her care was excellent. Really, thats all I could hope for. Prior to moving her to the Carriage Club, we visited almost every facility in Charlotte. Some were newer with nicer decor. However, happiness comes from your friends and your caregivers. We made the right choice with the Brookdale Carriage Club Providence

My Grandmother has spent years here and stayed in a few different phases.. independent, assisted, skilled nursing, dimentia units. The care is top notch. She always says the food is great, the staff is wonderful. So very grateful she has a place like this to live her final years. Shes very happy there.
