The assisted living of Canterfield is wonderful but do not send a loved one to memory care , the care is subpar , there are a few caring nurses but the majority are on their phones most of the time .

No assisted living facility is perfect, but Canterfield comes close. I especially like the access that relatives or spouses of residents have with the executive leadership of Canterfield of Kennesaw. When there is a problem, action is taken immediately. The staff is amazingly caring and observant.

This facility is so beautiful and clean! All of the staff are so friendly and courteous and truly go above and beyond to make you and your loved ones feel welcome. The activities calendar is full of a variety of choices for the residents and the meal I had there was delicious!

We are a home care company that provides care to some of Canterfield of Kennesaw’s residents. As the owner of this company, I highly recommend this beautiful community because of 3 reasons. First is the longevity of the leadership team. Where in other places there are always changes with the leadership team, this community’s main leadership team remain the same since the day it was open. This allows them to build deeper relationships with the residents and their families, and other staff members. Second is the location. It is strategically located within driving distance to Marietta, Kennesaw, Woodstock and Canton. Third is their commitment to provide the best care and services to help not only the residents, but also the residents family members.

My mom has been living at Canterfield of Kennesaw's memory care unit for almost a year now, and I have loved the attentiveness and care that the staff provides for her. I looked at several retirement communities before my gut told me that Canterfield was the one. As soon as you walk in, it's bright, well attended, there's activity going on, and overall it's just welcoming.

The facility is less than 18 months old, therefore very modern and clean. The staff is friendly, caring and helpful. There are lots of activities for the residents.

Canterfield of Kennesaw is not only a beautiful, welcoming facility but I have NEVER seen any care takers and employees with a more positive attitude. I've been to many nursing homes, senior living and assisted living places but everyone there seems genuinely happy to be there which makes a HUGE different to those living there and their families. My father was at another place before and he couldn't wait to leave and we hated visiting there because it was dark, unfriendly, etc. At Canterfield, it's a pleasure to have my dad there and happy and take my kids and puppy to visit. Everyone is SO NICE from the front desk, care staff and dining room employees! I simply can't say enough.
